Yun Mengxin nodded, before gently kissing Ling Tian and descending to her home. Her expression returned to the cold, unemotional behavior of before, even more so. Ling Tian smiled wryly at this and then shook his head.

Even though they shared a bond and she was already his, the love was still beginning in them. When he arrived at the house, Ling Tian realized that both siblings were up.

Mu Shen followed his usual training routines to start the day.

Mu Shuiruo looked somewhat lost, as she made breakfast. Her head turned occasionally, staring at the front door.

Ling Tian entered the doorway, making a normal noise to warn of his presence, of his arrival.

A tender figure ran out to where he was, reaching out to him in an instant and hugging him.

"Big brother, you're back!" Mu Shuiruo's cheerful voice sounded as she buried her head in his chest, while hugging Ling Tian tightly. Her beautiful eyes wet instantly, unable to hide the joy and excitement of their long-awaited meeting.

Ling Tian smiled warmly when he hugged her tenderly as well: "Um. Have you been well, little Shuiruo?"

"En." Mu Shuiruo nodded and looked up, staring at Ling Tian's face.

Ling Tian noticed that her eyes looked tired, as if she had been up all night.

He felt a slight pain in his heart at the sight of her. He was sure that she had not been able to sleep well while he was away. Her feelings for him could not be light or superficial.

"Didn't you sleep well, little Shuiruo? It will hurt you if you don't get enough rest. I'll even be sad if you don't take care of yourself." Ling Tian raised his hand and patted her head lovingly.

Mu Shuiruo smiled happily when she felt the caress of Ling Tian on her head.

Suddenly, her body became completely rigid and her face turned completely red.

And now that she was calmer and the thorn of worry was removed, Mu Shuiruo blushed completely when she realized she was too closely attached to Ling Tian.

What a bold move on her part!

Mu Shuiruo never thought she would make such a bold move.

She lost her temper and cared nothing more than to throw herself at the person she longed for so much. Now that she was in this situation, she wanted to dig a hole and hide in it.
