The witch's rebirth

It was very coordinated. Then the scene in my mind slowly unfolds. Someone who knew of the plan took advantage of it all. In the height of power, the mask they used on the princess. It was a test run. Then they used Jenny's death to kill the lady of the lake without much trouble. Still, I wonder how they had pulled it off without someone knowing.

"Madam we take good care of our guest." the bug said smiling, trying, "We have the most secure felicities. I believe in your satisfactory. None of our guests ever complains."

It brought me back to reality the lead must wait until I was clear. After all the case was closed there were no leads.

I tried to hold my tongue back. There was an undertone that I did not like. My spine straightened, A small grin quirked the side of his mouth and he was going to move for the kill. Reaching out his hand onto my skin

"I think you should go attend to your guest? You really don't want them to complain." I pushed.

"Not when my best account is leaving. I do insist you give us a try. We have perfect security and have fully train staff."

A wry smile pulled at my lips. It amuses me a little to know that he values the room so much that he had done the unspeakable. I would bet everything in the room that he'd never made a truer statement in his entire life.

"I don't think so. Hunters, Cambodia curse and Knights of the Round Table are you prepared for that and more?" I asked pushed my hair over my shoulder.

It was clear that the bug wasn't expecting that to happen but I knew there would be more trouble heading my way. I really didn't pay for others to get involved.

"Go way," I said glancing at the little prick.

He finally gave up. It really was unreasonable. Still, I had to get back to work and find the killer. I did realize one thing. Someone meticulous that plan everything but had minions do the dirty work was bound to face mistake and set back. I just had to find them.

Taking my time, I sip my drink and thought about the devils. It could only be them that could plan something like this. So elaborate and complicated.
