The witch's rebirth

Heading back to the vault. I spend the rest of my Sunday morning cleaning up and sending things to Beth.

I was quite content. With money in the bank, and some potion brewing. I was on track now all I needed was to get crazy to answer my mail. I needed him to broker a lot of items from a seller name Mr.Han. I remember something in my mind about his items. A rare dodo specimens place together by Davinchi. Large guns you could load fire missiles with the right incarnation and invisible smoke cigar that erase magic signature.

Leaning on the desk, I picked the last potion up and pull breakfast. The phone rang. It really was annoying. This case had turn Ronnie into a clinging little girl demanding and pushy. One moment it was over and the other it was not. This was worst than YT drama. I rub my forehead wanting very much to scream or better yet not answered the phone.

When I answered, Ronnie's voice greeted me sweetly on the other end. Too sugary as if she had bad news to tell me, it had to be very bad.

"Gray, I need you out at Backfield cemetery now." No request, just a simple demand, "and by now I mean I wanted you here yesterday. So move it."

"Hello?"

"Move it!"

"Well good morning to you too. You know I could be doing something important."

I heard her sigh, she sound so distrust.

"Look Gray, I don't have time for this and I really need your help. You owe me." hearing the triumph in her voice.

"No,"

"Yes, you could have gone to jail for criminal prosecution."

I heard the click as she hung up before I could say anything. I sighed. The fact was I did owe her a little. She did bail me out last time I bought some stolen goods. Talk the buyer into selling them to me and save me from jail. For me, it was a long time ago and I had repaid all that dept already.

Still, she went there for me and I hadn't done anything for her yet. I really wanted her to keep the job. The economy was really bad and she was a single mother. It was the one reason I had tried to get her off this case. But it wasn't working.
