The witch's rebirth

There was a long paused. I could not help but smile.

"A mate."said the boss," Dimensional travel?"

"The future is not set in stone." I said what he was implying, I wasn't afraid."There is one problem parallel worlds with slight different. Everything is almost the same so much so that I couldn't tell at first."

Traveling to parallel worlds was cheap but to come and do over with an intact soul like mine was almost impossible and to land in a place that is this similar was once in a billion year chance to happen. It also meant that I would be changing my own future for the better. IF I was given the chance and it would be real. And the ripple may revert back to my own future.

I paused. This was the second male that figured it out. My hear bump but then I saw MEE move opening a box showing me the item I needed. Boss's account book.

The most guarded and valuable thing a contractor could have.

"In all my years of knowing you. You'd always say you wish there was such a deal." I said to him tiredly, "Take the deal and don't regret it."

He look at me as if I was mad.

"Do you know that your future is not mine."

I paused and smirk,

"But his future has a 95.5% of being yours. Are you willing to risk it?"

We both knew his answer. IT was no. He sign and pulled a small ring from his finger and place it in front of me.Slowly, I watch as his body changed. From an elderly man he build became large and muscular. His hair turn night black and flow over his should falling everywhere like a viking worrier.

There was glint of silver necklaces, piercings, bracelets, and chains. And a large black ink tattoo. This was the boss real form.

A fallen demon. The few that survived the war but lost most of their power and army with nothing to do but live in hiding. A pity.

At least he was smart enough to take the deal.

I slowly took the ring and place it on my middle right finger. The only slot left that wasn't protected. I push my power into the ring and dropped blood binding it to me.

The world seemed to have turned upside down, darkness filled the surroundings. Darkness descended from the ring and covering over me.
