The witch's rebirth

There was a long paused. Crazy looked like he wanted to strangle me with good cause. I was not explaining anything to him. It hardly made sense to me so he was not going to understand any of my plans. It was all instinct for him.

There was a bitter smile as he slid a signed contract back at me. This was his finally offer. One that I didn't think I'd take.

"No," I said. "Absolutely not."

I an offer of any book in his library was generous. But it hardly could cover the cost. Crazy frowned at me, and pull out a silver cigarette lighter, but we both knew that it was special, the artifact had the power to suck all light from a place and restore it, with a simple click. Only five were ever made. This was a very rare item.

I didn't even need to look at my phone to know who was calling. There was one person. I rather not talk but I did just send my own grandmother, her mother to eternal hell.

"How about you add a ten-year contract and a soul slave to this deal and we call it fair," I said,

It was low than my bottom line. But Crazy was a good ally to have. I needed to gather power fast.

Crazy didn't answer. So I move to take mother's call.

"Hello, mother,"

"I thought you would dodge my calls." mother screech, "What did you do to grandma?"

I paused as a wave of sadness wash over me. This was the problem with my relationship with mother. She listens to grandmother a lot.

"Should you ask if I am already?"

"You've got three seers watching over you, of course, you are alright!" scream mother as she speeded on the streets,

The sound of traffic and angry drives was a symphony to her high pitch voice. She had sold away her voice years ago in a trade.

"They can't change the future." I said in a monotone voice.

"Yes, they can! Or you wouldn't be standing here. We weren't supposed to get married and ever have kids. But no Auther had to go and ask for it."

It was the first time I learn anything on the subject of my birth. I knew father love me. He showed it a little. It's just I was an expensive child.
