The witch's rebirth

I took a bit of time to walk back home. There were things I had to think it through. Looking around, I paused at the shiny cafe on the first floor. I own the Cafe. That was an improvement.

It would seem that if I better get going and seal some deals. I would be in a better position. If this was a game I'd just still be at noob level even if I had gained some skills. But I didn't have enough magic to back me. I really hope that Crazy's deal will come through but for now, I'll go for the low hanging fruits.

Mee was standing there waiting for me. There was a stack of contracts. I had a list that I had sent Old Crazy and while I was gone, one of the candidates responded to my offer. They just wanted to negotiate a better term. Since Crazy was busy with his daughter problem, it was my job to finalize the deal.

The customer looks like a beggar, wearing a ragged black coat with patches. An old straw weaved sunhat, disposable mask, and large sunglasses covering the face. There was no part of skin the could be seen, there were gloves and a large scarf covering the neck.

"Hello. Lady Pii. How was your journey?"

It was my standard small talk. I rather bid my time until she started to get impatent and start to talk to me.

"I, hear, but, exchange."

The words strung together like a toddler would handle words. The hoarse sounds didn't sound like it was made from a healthy human. And of course, she was not human.

"Only if it is fair," I answered with smile.

At the moment, Mee brought two cups of herbal tea. They were afterall inside a cafe. The tea was perfect with two lumps of sugar, and a dash of milk. Just like how my dad use to make tea.

"Lets talk about what I can do for you,"I said as I sat down on the sofa. "Let's start with the basic, what do you want? how do you want it done and what is your offer? Please note that all my offers are fair."

"Tomorrow, noon. Enemy, help, protect, me."

It was easy. I had a tailman just for the job. It's cheap too so I would be in good shape after the deal. One time use items were valueble but are never over priced since it was a consumable item. Atleast if you don't go for the ultra-rare ones.

A sleep barier was perfect for what lady Pii need. She was about to be married off, there was a moment when other's could stake his claimed mate. If he didn't win the fight, the male will lose his mate.

From the rumors I heard. It was the male that Pii was mating was powerful. The problem was her heart was set on another.
