The witch's rebirth

He wasn't interested in living without dignity. Elf's value their freedom very much. I look around and thought of ideas to convince him to surrender. Then out of nowhere a little girl came running in.

Ahhh,

I forgot he hand a little bun. A daughter from a previous marriage with a human. The child was weak. She should have lived as a human. So she could live longer.

Then again I chose to live as blood so she was allowed her choice. It's just that it's a pity. Those with human in them had to live a harder life. Having less blood limited your options.

It also was bad that they make you choose when you are really young. I think I made my choice when I was five. Right after my first week at school.

"I'd also make her human for you." I said,

There as silence as the Elf stroke the child's head. It was sort of cute. But I could tell that he was considering it for her. A father's love was great.

The girl look at me with her big blue eyes. I smiled back.

She was just like how he had described her. Young beautiful and energetic, so full of life. The golden hair and tan skin were perfect combination to enhance her liveliness.

"I'll think about it." he said taking her hand,

"Hey, I would not go to New York if I was you." I told him, "Just marry your cousin to avoid your trouble. She hated Vicky so she'd do it."

He look at me funny but I didn't care. If he listen then it was good if not let it be. Because that was where his daughter was cursed. It was sort of avoidable. His wife remarried a werewolf. And sorted place claim on the child. By law if he had not remarried, the council demanded a hearing. It didn't help that the child resonance with the mom's werewolf mate.

In truth I think she was a mate of some wolf. If she had grown and lived, then she may have had a mate at sixteen. To bad she died so young.
