The witch's rebirth

Cat smirked at me thinking that she'd pull one under me. I smirked at her knowing I was going to pull one under her. It was going just like I thought it would so I'll see it sooner than later it would happen. The spell I place was an easy once active it'll turn pass magic back on the user. I have to say that for were the bitch did some impressive magic including a love spell. I couldn't wait to see what comes around goes around. It would be so entertaining watching her go through what she has done to others helpless to stop it.

I really got under her nerves as she finally snaps. Turning her head and eyeing me as if I was the ugly thing she ever seen.

"You should have stayed home," she said. "Let the grownups talk, child."

"I thought old people need to go to bed early, Grandma. After all handsome here isn't interesting in fixed up merchandise. I mean who could blame him with all those blemishes. Age is really catching up on you." I told her.

Knight enjoyed the squabble. Most of the time he was chuckling and his eyes were smiling. I don't think he's done that before. Judging from the surprised look we were getting.

People were looking at me funny. It was like I had grown six legs, dyed my hair purple and got an extra eye. Many were texting acting all excited and many just ran as fast as they little legs can carry them.

"Do you have business with her?" I asked him.

"I may have heard you got called from Jamey before he died," he said in a passing glance. "I need answers. Facts if you have them."

She leaned toward him showing off her cleavage to an excess. There was plenty of it I'm afraid to admit that I was a little jealous as she was putting on a good show. I really needed to start developing this body. It looked too young for my liking.

"He did, I think, I'm not sure, Knight. After all, I really don't want trouble. I'm a businesswoman, not an informant or your secretary." She smiled her eyes were doing the weird thing woman do when they are trying too hard.

I almost laugh at her it looks really foolish. Most of the people around didn't, they thought it was sexy and very seductive. I could see the aura in the room change almost instantly.

"What will you be paying with? Your body?" she purred.

"The basin made by Mark Alvin," he told her smirking placing his hand on her hand. "A very beautiful piece if I do say so myself. I think the lady would be very pleased. It's been too often that you've failed her. She's even been considering hiring us as her representative. You really can't afford to not take this generous offer."

"You have a deal." She said smirking.

"Good, its two hundred and it'll be delivered tomorrow."

"Perfect. Now, go child. The grownups want to talk." she said her eyes looking at me as if I was a fly on the wall.
