The witch's rebirth

Cat was determined. She pulled out a letter and handed it to me. I read it and put it down. Interesting as it was, it meant nothing to me.

"The answer is still now," I said, opening the fireplace,

"You'll regret this," she snarled.

"I don't think so I live by a set of rules. You are not worth making an exception." I replied, "Please leave."

"Never mind, I'm sure there is someone that would be willing to pay." Cat said finally smirking as if she knew something I didn't. "Diana will help me."

I narrow my eyes and stared at her. It was like she was sent here to stall us but I don't know why until Alpha Knight walked through the door. In all of his Alpha male gory. The man was the most beautiful male I've ever seen. He was dressed an expensive blue stripe Italian tailor suit look out of place in the thick waves of tattoos and leather that flock the area. It was like placing gold in a pile of scrap metal, it took one look and you knew what was what and I wonder how many girls had tried to hook up with him.

This was the moment she was waiting for Cat got excited and flings herself onto him. Knight paid her no mind. I like to think she was devastated but he had dismissed her quickly and she disappeared even quicker as her target was not interested. It didn't take much to know why she was here, this time, however, he was not in the mood to tolerant her when he wanted to talk with me. And we weren't in publish so he didn't have to give her any face.

"Do you have room for one more?" he asked pointedly,

"For what?" I stared at him.

This was an unexpected progress after surviving two near-death experience. I had forgotten about him offering to assist the situation and the signing.

"It's the business as we talked last night. It is rather important or I wouldn't have come at this time, bothering you when you need sleep. You also need food. Let me feed you" he said smirking as he held up a box of cupcakes from Mirage cafe.

The classy shop sold food catering to high-end customers. They were expensive and over tax. I never bought anything from them but their reputation precedes them.

"My lady?" asked Rolland,

"Knight I need you to play nice,"I told him.
