The witch's rebirth

This was not me. I've never been a person that took risks and I wasn't about to start even if I did give my word and breaking it would be too close to lying for my own liking so there had to be another way. I really needed something to settle me. The sashimi wasn't cutting it. I needed something with a calming effect.

"Give me a minute" I mumbled.

Lost in my thoughts, I didn't notice it at first but the air in the room had changed. The dark energy one that didn't belong in my home hit me once the being opens the door. A dark figure, a vampire possibly stood in the doorway holding Min's motionless body in its hands. She was missing half her soul.

This was bad. The reason why most witches kept the vampire population starving is that giving them too much magic; ugly things tend to happen. They become out of control and greedy.

Today it resulting in an unexpected visit. Pushing power, this was an underline method for beings but a very effective way. The vampire came closer to me sealing the exit with blood magic. I could see clearly now, it was a hybrid between vampire and hunter. It had brown aura. Easy to say that I now knew who was with Sonia and Jamey before their skin became tattoos. He was here and it didn't look good for me.

The thing had a lot of magic. Enough to blast a hole in the ground. Min soul was also used to fuel this attack as well as her blood. I really didn't expect her to die so soon.

Then again Alpha Knight told me this was not my world. This was not going to be an unpleasant ride. I was going to take a hit.

Judging from the sound Alpha Knight was making he was going to let me hurt to bad. He grabbed the whips from the wall. Ready for a fight, as if defending a real mate. I must say it's nice to be a damsel.

"Get out of the way!" He shouted moving very fast.

Pushing me out of the way of an attack with one hand, he used the whip in the other. Making the hybrid twist and scream still it wasn't going to hold it for long.
