The World of Masks
Part 1
Jack and Callie were sitting in a room somewhere. It's hard, but a chair made of high-quality wood also has a pretty fancy decoration. It looks expensive. Sitting on a chair like that, I lay my hands on a table that looks like it's going to cost a lot of money, and my chin snaps. Callie, sitting in front of her, was looking out the window at the city view.
As soon as the story about the Demon King came out, the white-bodied priest led the two of them into a room and ran out in a puddle. I feel like my legs are loosened from the way I stumble. One, the priests had no place to find peace between Monjack and Callie.
"It reminds me of old times."
"When?"
"When you get your pass in this game."
By the way, how was the priest? Did you say Jorbara? I'm reminded of my past.
"That's what I thought. I was a frightened chick at the time. If it was bad, the priest would give me five hours to tell me what to look out for."
Jack giggles at Callie's words. Jack knew Callie from before. The sight that I hadn't seen flowed like a video. I remembered the priest who forced Callie to sit in the chair because the sunchick who came in to try to make money somehow told me to be careful just like a grandfather who told his granddaughter to be careful. The priest who tipped Callie off was replaced by the first priest Jack had ever seen, Jorba.
Queek!
As I was chatting, I heard the door open. Jack and Callie get up on their feet. Along with the priest who led them to the open door, an old man with half his head cut off came in. Wiping off his cold sweat with a handkerchief, he asked with a trembling voice.
"Ma'am, are you the ones who brought the Demon King's information?"
"Yes, I'm Klatus Nigley."
Jack gave the right name to one of the group that he had wiped out last time. He was from a sacred neutral city that had nothing to do with this, so he had little to worry about being discovered. Priests of this world rarely leave the sacred neutral city where they live. I had little to worry about getting caught.
"Nice to meet you, Mr. Nigley. My name is Toolsner. If you don't mind, I'd like to get right on with my story."
The priest who introduced himself as Toolsner seemed to be in a hurry, pretending to be introduced to Jack, urged him immediately.
'As expected, the word' Demon King 'works like a charm.'
As the priest looks at Jack as if he were a flustered, restless puppy, he laughs in his heart.
"Of course. I know how important this is."
Unlike my heart, I speak in a serious tone. I didn't have to take care of my face. The mask telling him that it was a player was completely concealing Jack's face.
I sat back in the chair. Jack and Callie sit on one side and Toolsner on the other with the table between them. Leading Jack to this room, the first unknown priest who had brought Toolsner out of the woodwork said he was bringing a car.
I opened my mouth to Toolsner, who stared at me with a nervous glance.
"It seems urgent, so I'll explain everything except the general explanation. More north than here, we found traces of the Demon King. No, to be precise, I saw the Demon King's army."
Bang, bang!
Jack and Callie look around at the noisy tapping of their eardrums. The priest, who was so busy going out to get his car, was coming in through the door. No, I thought it would be more accurate to say that it was frozen open. I looked down. The trays, teacups and waters that he thought he had brought were scrambling the floor. Fortunately, it doesn't seem to be broken, like it's not a glass.
I glanced at Toolsner. He was also soaking his face in white. The hands on the table tremble.
"Oh, my God, are you okay?"
Jack gets up from his seat and approaches the unknown priest who took the car. You bend your knees and start picking up the tea cups that have fallen off the ground.
"Oh, that's, uh, that's okay. I'll do it!"
The impatient priest reaches out to clear the cup.
Fluffy!
Jack raises his head and looks at the priest. The look of embarrassment on the priest's face was powerful. The priest, who suddenly hesitated to take up the cup of tea, tried to get up somehow. But the legs didn't seem to be moving much.
'My legs are loose.'
Jack rises up with a cup of tea on a tray. You reach out to the priest, holding the tray in one hand and holding the other.
"Go, thank you."
The priest, who barely got up on his feet, took a tray from Jack and left the room with a new car and a mop. Jack comes back and sits back in his chair.
"Yikes, yikes, our priests took offense."
Toolsner also said that the Demon King's army was upset that Jack was sitting in a dazed chair while he helped the priest, and then we sat down after he finished helping the priest. 'I woke up and apologized. Jack said he was fine.
"Sounds like a really scary word. The word is the Demon King."
"It was fear itself for us. Especially when I was a child, I experienced the Demon Lord's army firsthand. You can see the horror."
Jack glances at the priests. The Demon King invaded about 50 years ago. Barely a white head of a priest is telling me of his past years.
"He was eight years old, but at least his horrific tragedy hasn't been forgotten."
Toolsner trembles. The experience was still traumatizing and clutching Toolsner's ankle. It was a trauma that would never fall unless it died and went under God.
"That is why I will never tolerate the resurrection of the Demon King. No, I am certain that not even the tiniest trace of the Demon King should exist in this world."
Toolsner's eyes flashed. His eyes gleamed nervously with firm conviction and even a slight frenzy.
"So tell me, will you? Where the Demon King's trail was found."
Jack nods coolly.
"Sure. Do you have a map? I don't think that's enough to explain it in words. which is a map of the north of here."
"Don't worry. If not, I'll make it and bring it back."
Toolsner gets up and opens the door. The priest, who had brought a new cup of tea, stepped aside in surprise. I stared at Toolsner, who was speeding past me without a word, blindly, and carefully entered the room.
"Do you know where Mr. Toolsner is going?"
He carefully lowers the car next to Jack and Callie and asks.
"He said he needed a map, but I think he went to get it."
"I see."
The priest, who put down the teacup, picks up the mop he brought with him and starts wiping off the tea he spilled earlier. Soon, the dry mop became damp with tea water. Take a wet mop and go back out of the room. Probably trying to clean up the mop.
Once again, there are only Jack and Callie left in the room. Jack picks up the cup in front of him and puts it on his mouth. The hot tea was carefully spilled into my mouth. A fragrant aroma floats through your mouth and into your throat.
'Not bad.'
Of course, we don't know how reliable Jack is about cars. Jack's Tea Ceremony experience is all about teabag green tea or barley tea with more microscope. But the aroma really wasn't bad.
"Yeah, it's good, it's good."
I also heard Callie's obvious comment about cars. Looks like it's favorable there, too. Jack also takes another sip and waits for Toolsner to arrive.
Heave-ho.
The time Toolsner returned was when Jack and Callie's teacups were half empty. Whether he rushed off or not, he sighed and sat helplessly on the chair.
Glug-ug!
Toolsner pulled a large scroll out of his sleeve and spread it wide on the table. It appears to be a map around here.
"Please tell me which side."
At Toolsner's request, Jack moves the map slowly with his index finger.
"This is roughly the point."
I know exactly what kind of place it is, but I can't just throw it away. Jack circled the area, including roughly where the Demon King's Dungeon was located. Of course, the world's maps were not as detailed as the real world map. So I added one word.
"The whole area was plains and a big mountain in the middle. It will be easy to find when you arrive."
Hearing Jack's words, Toolsner glanced at where Jack pointed, even through the sheep, at his parents' enemies.
"Excuse me, do you know the exact details of the Demon King's army?"
"I don't know. I just saw some skeletons, some moving bones, and I don't know exactly. No matter how many travellers I was, I heard about the dark magic that flowed through the market, and I knew right away. I don't know about the rest."
"I see."
Toolsner seemed to be pretty steamed from the lack of accurate information. But he finally came to his senses and thanked Jack.
"Thank you very much, Mr. Nigley. Thanks to you, I was able to sense a great danger."
"You're welcome."
Jack also received a light example.
"But will it be okay? I may be lying, but you can trust me so easily."
At Jack's words, Toolsner grins.
"We'll send an expedition anyway to get the right information. and the events that are happening in the north are so ominous. Mr. Nigley has come with some information that we're about to begin our investigation. Above all · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · ·."
Toolsner was a horse with a firm face and a glowing look in his eyes.
"Any false rumors about the Demon King cannot be ignored."
He was standing on his face, beyond the corner, up to the roses. Jack nods quietly.
