The World of Masks
Part 1
Walton had a dream. A large snake tightens itself tightly. I felt a bad feeling of rough scales touching my tongue and body.
"· · · · · · · · ·!!!"
I try to scream as hard as I can, but I can't hear my voice. Even as I struggle, the snake that ties itself does not budge. I felt like I was going to cry out of fear. I scream for help, but my vocal chords still can't make a sound. Tired of my grass, Walton bows his head. You can see the head of the snake looking up at itself near its knees. I feel like I'm laughing at my tongue, shining bright yellow eyes. Is it the mood? Somehow the snake appears to overlap the broker who sold him the identity card.
Whew.
"Ugh!!"
The cold sensation on his face lifted Walton's mind. Walton unconsciously tried to steal his face from the feeling of the liquid spilling all over his face.
"!!!!"
My hands aren't moving. It was as if I had just had a dream. I was so scared, I woke up. No, I tried to get him up.
Thump, thump.
Unfortunately, the body does not move. It's just that the chair that it's sitting on is moving slightly, squirming. In a hurry, you notice your body tied tightly to a chair. I tried to illuminate my face more brightly with white water, but I was not able to move my body freely, just because the chair moved.
"Urgh! Urgh!!!"
The foreign sensation around the lips also doubled Walton's horror. The sound from the neck echoes into a meaningless echo that echoes through the surrounding area. From the feeling of it, something like a cloth was covering its mouth. Walton looks around. Only one candle was illuminating its surroundings faintly. There was a peculiar queer odor of mold scattering around, and a strange smell floated around.
"Are you awake now?"
"!!!"
A gentle, thoughtless voice hits your eardrums. It was a familiar voice and tone. Walton turns to hear the sound.
There was a man sitting there. It was clear that the broker had sold his identity card to himself, wearing a white mask like himself and completely concealing his whole body in a dark robe. A bucket sits next to the broker, crouching his chin and staring at him. It seems that the identity of the liquid that was falling on my head was the water in that bucket.
"Town!!!"
Walton struggled. Now I remember everything. The sound of footsteps rushing towards him, the scabbard raised high, and the murderous eyes beyond the mask. The man in front of me made himself look like this.
"That's why I said I could draw my weapon. This is what happens when you get all pompous for nothing?"
The man's words were filled with ridicule. Walton's eyes widened. I burst into the bloodstream of my eyes with anger. I glanced at the masked man, Jack, with bloodshot eyes that would have shed a tear in no time.
"Be sure to be vigilant, and be extraordinarily proud. What? I'm starting to see you like a dog in the rain. You mean to tell me that a bunch of guys like me don't even flinch? Rather, it swallows them up."
Now, even the removal of the earlobes of your voice is gone, and you chuckle.
"Town!! Urgh!!!!"
Walton's luminescence is getting worse. The chair heavily rattles and falls to the side with Walton tied up. But Walton didn't stop struggling. It was like crawling on the ground, wriggling like a bug. Jack gets up from his chair and approaches Walton. I lifted up the chair and pulled Walton straight over. Then he took his hand to Walton's face.
"By the way, this place is really amazing. I anticipated it, but it's not falling off."
I tried to put my finger in the part where the mask and skin fit, but it wouldn't budge. The hard, fixed mask seems to have been smeared with cement on the cracks to coat another skin on the face.
Walton creeps the warmth of his fingers moving along the grain of his mask. The question came with him. If you are still wearing a mask, what is the meaning of this cloth that closed your mouth?
"Ah! Do you want to know how a piece of cloth that keeps its mouth shut and ignores the mask?"
Jack kindly moved to unravel Walton's question. Remove a sack of Longsword from the bracelet. It was the same sword that hit Walton's head.
"Ugh!!!! Ugh!!!!!!"
A faint lantern strikes the blade of Longsword drawn from the sword and sprinkles a bright light. Walton was horrified. I felt like I was going to lose my mind because I didn't know when that sharp day would come for me.
"Ah, don't worry. I'm not gonna stab you with this."
Jack brings the sword to Walton's face. The well-groomed black light shines on Walton's face as if he were a mirror. Walton was only able to see his face then. As poor Jack said, his face was still covered with a white mask from the beginning of the game. But some things changed. It was a white cloth tied around a circle around the face from the mouth. Like a hologram of a mask, the cloth dug deep into the mask and sealed its mouth tightly.
"In the beginning [There is no Masked Defense. The damage penetrates the mask.], but you didn't know it was possible to do this? Perhaps the first mask is just for covering your face. I guess that's all there is to it."
In this absurd situation, you hear Jack's voice in Walton's ears, looking at his face on the sword. Walton wakes up, "Hot!" Now is not the time to be mesmerized by the strange performance of the mask. I had to get out of this somehow.
"Town! Town! Ugh!"
"Hmm? Do you have something to say?"
Walton nods. Jack nods, his fingers on his chin for a moment.
"Okay, let's hear it. But if you scream, will you stab me?"
You shake the Longsword in your hand in front of Walton's eyes. The eyes in the mask, shaking around along Longsod, were very interesting. Upon loosening the knot on the back of his head, the cloth blocking Walton's mouth falls to the floor.
"Puak! Puff! Ugh! You bastard!!"
Walton was speechless, trying to insult Jack in all sorts of ways. The cold energy of the blade that had just entered my mouth was moving around in my mouth.
"I told you not to yell. because if you do it one more time, I'm going to stab you in the ceiling and pierce your brain."
Walton nods slightly to prevent the blade from touching the inside of his mouth. Whether he had already been injured inside his mouth, or the smell of his stomach in Longsword, Fibbina felt bad from the tip of his tongue.
"Good."
Jack pulled out his sword. Walton sweeps the inside of his mouth with his tongue. Luckily, there were no injuries.
"So, what do you want to say?"
"· · · · · · · · · You. You think you're gonna be okay with this?"
"Was it a gentle threat? Well, that's disappointing."
Jack slowly picks up the cloth that fell next to the chair.
"You think this is some kind of a threat? Someone I know is a guild person of considerable size. If I say one word in real life, you're done!"
"Is that so? It's really scary and scary."
Place the sword you were holding in the sword and place it next to you, then begin to fold the lifted cloth thinly. Looks good in silence. As Walton became more and more urgent.
"I know the name of your character! Jack the Reaper! That should do it!!"
"Didn't I say I was an identity laundering broker? You don't think someone like that could make another identity?"
Ugh. My teeth are clenched. Along with him, the horror of the body became more and more doubled. Eventually he couldn't resist, and Walton yelled.
"What are you going to do!!"
"Oh? Isn't that obvious?"
Jack shrugs a cloth to keep his mouth shut without hesitation.
"Murder."
"!!!!!!!"
As the worst words fell from Jack's mouth, Walton felt like his whole body was drying up. Even if you die now, your game character will only die, but if you do it wrong, even your real body will be in shock.
"Are you in some kind of combat situation? That's why you can't log out. I heard from an NPC. how to kill a player in real life."
"Ha, but you can't use it now."
Walton also heard from a colleague. But if you want to kill yourself in real life, you have to keep fighting. Jack is also the player that needs to be in that battle. If Jack is logged out for his own survival, his battle status will be automatically released and Walton will also be able to log out.
"So stop this nonsense! If you let me go now, I won't hold you responsible! Don't forget I remember your voice!"
"Yes, you know my voice."
I was wondering if I could find someone with only one voice in the vast world of games, but it was clear that there was such a risk.
"But you see, It doesn't matter if you never access this game again."
"Say something!!!"
Before Walton could finish, Jack was bitten again. Something's happening. A bell rings in Walton's brain. Is there anything I can do to help? Walton took a desperate look around.
"!!!!!"
Walton's gaze was on one place. It was the corner of the room where the lamp was dimly shining. Something's crumpled up like a burden. It existed as if it were an avant-garde art, with a red liquid soaking the surrounding floor.
"Oh! That one?"
After realizing Walton's gaze, Jack raised his back and shined a corner.
"Thank you for kindly vacating the house."
Arms, legs, head, and torso tangled like garbage. Apparently, until a few hours ago, [it] had moved vividly, now being humbled in the gloomy darkness with a faint lamp.
"Ugh!!!!!!"
Until now, I heard a scream that was completely different. The loud sound from the vocal chords, as if to ask for help from those around you, could not be echoed far because of the jabbles on your mouth. Jack kicks the corpse as if it were funny.
"I have to make a dangerous trade, but I don't have a good place to go. So I decided to rent this house. They agreed with you very happily? to turn this house into an empty house."
Crazy. The man in front of you is clearly crazy. I couldn't have spoken in such a clear voice without going crazy.
"So let's get started, Mr. Walton."
Jack pulls another knife out of the bracelet. It was a rusty, pathetic dagger I had when I was a beginner.
"I mean, I like this when I cut [human]. Too sharp can only be cut so soon, right? You can't do that. It's best to feel it for as long as possible. And that way."
Jack smiles white into the mask.
You can hear [meat] screaming and moaning for longer. "
"Urgh!!!!! Ugh!!!!!!!"
Walton was desperate. However, the ropes that held the body firmly to the chair never thought of breaking.
"Did you threaten to remember my voice? I'm sorry, it's no use. You don't have to let yourself in the game. No, just by listening to the name of the masked world, I'm going to carve out a beetle trauma. For now."
Jack returns to Walton's back and grabs the restrained hand.
"Can I start with my finger?"
"Ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Walton didn't intend to kill him, but his readers' enthusiasm led him to his death. Well, it's probably his business.
