The world's number one pianist

Chapter 30 Thinking about Myself

"George, what we need now is to be down-to-earth, not to be carried away. If you want to learn, we can study later when we are free, so let's start today's study.

Chopin's voice is very nice and gentle. He slowly explained to He Shen what he was thinking when he composed this set of preludes and the logic of his creation.

He also explained many problems about the preludes to He Shen in a simple and easy-to-understand way and gave him many demonstrations.

Because He Shen had practiced this set of preludes many times before entering this scene, he knew very well where his weaknesses were, and Chopin also corrected his mistakes very concisely and clearly.

Although the feeling of class is not as impressive as Chopin's own experience, it must be said that Chopin's explanation is very thorough and has the style of a famous teacher.

Finally, after He Shen finished playing all 24 preludes, Chopin's figure gradually began to dissipate.

"George Mathias, you have made great progress today. Perhaps you don't need to study too long before you can get the position you want. "

Chopin walked to He Shen, patted his shoulder, and finally said something incomprehensible to him. The whole scene disappeared, and the residual warmth of Chopin's palm seemed to still linger on He Shen's shoulder.

He Shen slowly woke up from the changes in the surrounding environment and murmured.

"So, who is George Mathias that Chopin has been talking about? What position does he want? "

He Shen shook his head to let the turbidity in his brain dissipate, and quickly took out his mobile phone to check. Soon, the information of George Mathias appeared in front of him.

Georges Amédée Saint-Clair Mathias, a native of the White Flag Country, a composer, pianist, and piano teacher of the White Flag Country, studied piano with Chopin and composition with Kalkbrunner.

After completing his studies, George Mathias entered the Paris Conservatory of Music to teach piano and eventually became the dean.

He and another student of Chopin, Carol Mikuli, had a great influence on the interpretation of Chopin's style in later generations.

"So, I just entered George's body? He wants to be a teacher at the Paris Conservatory of Music? "

He Shen was a little confused for a moment, but soon, he threw this idea aside. It didn't make any sense to possess anyone, even if that person was called Klein.

It was impossible for him to be pulled above the clouds by an unknown fool while studying and listen to him promote his Tarot Church.

After all, the main purpose of the system in his brain was to teach him how to play a piece of work, not to directly instill it.

The kind of knowledge that is directly instilled can be given to you by others, and naturally it can be taken back, and the knowledge you really learn can't be taken away by anyone!

He Shen took out all the distracting thoughts in his mind, looked at the piano in front of him seriously, put his fingers on the keys, and then slowly pressed them.

When...

The sound from under his fingers was the same as the sound he had heard before. It was different at the moment, with a very special taste in it.

He Shen felt this taste and couldn't help but smile.

The system was dead after all. Even if he was restricted to learning only Chopin's preludes, there was no way to restrict him from learning other things from Chopin!

In the teaching just now, although He Shen didn't find the opportunity to learn other works, he kept asking around but couldn't find a way, but He Shen took the opportunity to take classes with Chopin and learned his piano playing techniques from him.

Because the time for learning is not enough, his current performance is not very mature.

However, the taste of Chopin in He Shen's performance is already very obvious. In time, he may be able to perfectly interpret the feeling of Chopin in Chopin's preludes. Wake up!

By then, maybe I can complete the transition from the professional level to the master level.

And just for the immature performance just now, if someone who is not particularly familiar with Chopin listens to it, he will definitely think that this is Chopin's performance, and will never think that this sound is actually played by He Shen.

The unique smell of Chopin echoed in the room. He Shen squinted his eyes and enjoyed the pleasure brought by the music. He easily controlled the strength of his fingers on the keyboard to make the sound more clean.

Finally, with the end of the cadence, He Shen put down his fingers, took a long breath, walked to the bed and got himself a lollipop.

Carefully tear off the outer layer of plastic paper, lay it flat, and put it on the cabinet with countless plastic papers. After that, he put the lollipop into his mouth.

The unique sweetness of the lollipop instantly surged onto He Shen's tongue, which made his brain relax a little. He walked to the completely useless window in the basement, looked at the concrete outside the window, and fell into deep thought.

Unfortunately, there are only two sets of his most completed works at present, which are not many.

One set is Chopin's Ballade, and the other is Chopin's Prelude.

Although this set of preludes has made great progress, it still feels a little different from the previous Chopin Ballade, especially the taste of Chopin, which is the biggest difference between the two.

Except for these two sets of works, the completion of other works is not high. It can only be said that the performance is proficient. If compared with Chopin's Ballade, it pales in comparison.

But the next competition requires sonatas, etudes, and Chinese works.

What should I do with these three works now?

I don’t have many sonatas in stock now. Beethoven’s Passion, Moonlight, Pathétique, Pastoral and Chopin’s Second Sonata, only five for now.

The etudes are similar, basically Liszt’s Chasing Snow, Hunting, Mazeppa, Chopin’s Chant, Torrent, and Winter Wind.

He can basically play these works that are familiar to the public.

But...

When you really see the scenery on the top of the mountain, will you still stop at the beauty of the small earthen slope?

He Shen shook his head, bit the lollipop in his mouth hard, chewed it, spit it out, walked to the piano, and continued to practice.

For the preliminary round, I chose the third movement of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. This is the most completed one, with a duration of 7-8 minutes. The accompanying work is Chopin's Second Ballade, which is also about 7 minutes long, just within 15 minutes.

He Shen first quickly ran through the scale arpeggios in F major, recalled the feeling of Chopin's Second Ballade, and then pressed his fingers to perfectly reproduce the Chopin Second Ballade he played in the studio before.

Then, it was Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata Third Movement. He Shen quickly flipped through the scattered music scores on the ground and found the third movement of the Moonlight Sonata he was going to play now. He put it on the piano music stand and started practicing.

As time passed, the light provided by the dim light bulbs in the basement remained unchanged. He Shen focused all his attention on the music, constantly thinking about the interpretation of this work, and completely forgot the passage of time.
