This Time, It's Forever

Jake is in a dilemma right at this moment. To eat or not to eat. He don't know who to fear. The Master or the Madam. While the Madam all smile inviting him for breakfast like she always do, a certain Master was also smiling, more like a sinister type of smile. And what makes it even worse at this moment, the Madam was dragging him, casually holding his hand and make him sit at the table when he just stood still, hesitating. He could feel a million daggers stabbing him all side of him but the worse pain is on his hand.

"What are you waiting for Jake? I cooked your favorite egg Benedict with crispy bacon just like you always wanted." Madam, please don't send me to my grave this early in the morning, Jake cried inside.

"Yeah Jake. My wife especially cook it for you. It will be a waste if you didn't eat it." Now the Master is silently torturing him by adding another egg Benedict and crispy bacon on his plate. Jake could only forcefully smile and start eating. Thank goodness Lyla is still at the table. Chattering away with his Master. Otherwise he wouldn't be able to swallow nor taste his favorite breakfast. But it was short-lived when Lyla got up. Nervously, he suddenly call out to her.

"Madam,,,ermm...do you need any help? I'll go now." He said and immediately stood up. He wanted to tell Lyla to stay but the intense glare made him change his mind. Lyla just smile and pat him on the shoulder.

"No, i'm not going to work today. Continue on eating. I'm going to take my bath now." With that, Lyla left to the bedroom leaving him alone with the terrifying devil. The second Madam went out of sight, a sudden drop of temperature starts to spread from the King whose sitting elegantly and eating his breakfast. He wanted to leave but the heavy pressure is making him freeze at his seat.

"So, how long have you been eating breakfast with my wife?" Dylan ask like it was the most common thing. Jake stiffened. Even the egg went 'plop' back on the plate.

"Or did you have lunch and dinner with her too?"

"..." Madam, i need you to save me from your husband here, Jake cries in his heart.

"It must have been nice eating the food that my wife cook when it is the first time i'm the husband eating with her."

"And she even knows your favorite food."

"..."

"Anything else that i should know about?" Dylan put down his fork and knife and leaning against the chair with his arm crossed. Jake shook his head continuously.

"There's nothing else Master. Just that."

"Oh,,, Not even going to buy grocery together?"

"...'

"From what i see from last night and this morning, it looks like it's not the first time she touch you. I wonder what should i do?"

"That... I'm sorry Master. It will not happen again." Jake stood up and apologize. Exactly that is the scene that Lyla saw after she finish taking her bath. With her still wet hair, she glance towards Dylan and Jake awkwardly.

"What? What happen? What will not happen again? Are you bullying Jake, Dylan?" Lyla look at Dylan accusingly. Dylan lift his eyebrow and Jake decided to find a way to escape the self digging grave question. He didn't expect his Master would be jealous over him or you can say possessive towards his own wife.

"So, i'm Dylan now? No longer hubby?" Lyla was perplexed. What happen when i took a bath just now? I didn't take a bath that long, did i?

"What do you mean hubby? Of course you're my husband and will forever stay that way? Why can't i call you by your name?" She really didn't know what went wrong.

"Wife, are you cheating on me?" Dylan dropped the unthinkable question. Lyla felt like she's having hearing problem.

"Wh..wha...WHAT??? Cheating on you? Who? Me???" Dylan only keeping silent but his eyes says everything that needed to be said. Somehow it makes Lyla angry and automatically her purple eye turn dark.

"If that is true then we are even but at least i didn't make anyone my fiancee!!!" With that she went back inside the bedroom and slam the door shut. Dylan suddenly realized he went too far, got up and chase after her. Jake who's being left alone let out a relieved sigh. He just survived the war. Next time, he should avoid being in the same room with either of them. They're going to send him to his early grave if it goes on.
