This Time, It's Forever

While in K city, they were making a new member to the family, in another city and in a house that's big enough to fit an airplane, things are not looking good. With multiple crashing, smashing sound taking place. And in between, the continuous wailing and screaming and angry shouting. One would think it's a house full of lunatic. When in fact it's the house where the Drew's family. The one who's making the ruckus is Catherine. The night when Dylan left to break off the engagement, she thought she could keep it a secret and pretend to be his fiancee a little longer. But who knows within the fortnight, everyone knew about the broken engagement. Now others are treating her as a laughing stock. Even when she shops, she couldn't even say anything or insist on buying the outfit because she no longer have powerful backing behind her. No matter how rich she is among the commoners, she's only some rich family if they were to compare in an elite her. In fact in the eye of the wealthiest family, she's not in the same level with them. She tasted her own medicine. Being bullied and laugh at. She was livid. And she blame it on Dylan. Even her parent look at her as a failure. She can not take any of this treatment any longer. She decided to call Dylan's biggest enemy. Braxton Jones. She didn't know what grudge between them but all she knows she want the result to be on her side. She have been giving Braxton some sensitive information regarding Dylan's company for the past 4 years.

"Ah, my dear Catherine. What can i do for you?" A sinister voice can be heard from the other side making Catherine feeling insecure.

"Dylan left. He even left the city and ignore his own family."

"WHAT???"

"He left few weeks ago."

"And you just mention it to me now???"

"I thought you would have heard about it. Your people would have told you about it."

"I...i..was hiding and laying low."

"You think i would believe that? You have no use for me now." With that he end the call. Catherine shivers when he said that. She knew her life would be in danger now that he gave her the ultimatum. She really need to find a way to investigate more about Dylan. The more she thought about it, the more she feels like there's something that she miss. She finally decided to call someone else. This time she knew for sure this person will help her. After giving some instruction, she finally relax and wait for three more days.

Braxton who just ended the call looking grim. All the papers that he's been reading he threw it all away as it was of no use. What's the point of continuing this game when Dylan is no longer handling the company. Even he couldn't believe, someone like Dylan would leave everything behind including his inheritance. For what? Now his grudge couldn't be fulfilled. They used to be best friend but after the death of his sister from suicide, their relationship torn apart. He would always find a way to mess up his life. From work matters to his personal life. But right now, he really couldn't tell what Dylan was thinking to be leaving everything behind and hide himself away. He will find him again and settle the score. Dylan owe's it to him.
