This Time, It's Forever

Chapter 5:Complicated Feeling

He just come and goes as he pleases. Lyla looked at the private jet taking off leaving her behind. She's not sure what she's feeling at the moment but what she does know, she hated the fact she's the one whose always having to say goodbye and wait for him to come home. Everything is complicated with the rich guy.

"Ughhhh.. This is so frustrating. Why no one told me that he's rich to begin with? And why is the life with wealthy people are always so complicated. Even my feelings become complicated after i married him. I shouldn't have said yes. I must have been crazy back then. Perhaps, that could be the reason to ask a divorce from him. I'll probably ask him the next time he comes home." Lyla made a solution despite knowing she's talking by herself. Continuously she nodded her head thinking she had a great idea to get out of this ridiculous marriage.

"*cough. I don't think you can use that reason because when you had your wedding, you clearly said 'I do' in front of the man in cloth and you were sensible." Jake the assistant-cum-driver-cum-bodyguard could not help but interfere in her private conversation with herself. It's something that she always do. Being assigned by Dylan for a year ago, got him used to this side of her. Which he wonders was it because she have two unique eyes that made her personality so...so... different.

Lyla glared the man next to her who's driving the car.

"But he didn't say he was rich." she persisted.

"And does it make a different?" Jake frowned. Don't most women like it when they found gold mine. And the fact that Lyla married Dylan, it means he's not just any gold mine. He's what you can say the king of all the mines. Yet, this particular person had the audacity to complaint?

"Don't you give me that look."

"I wasn't giving you any look at all."

"You did too. You can't really group me with the rest of the women that you've met when you serve under him. It's the reason he married me and not them." Jake went speechless by her unabashed remark. It's a pity she never really show this side of her in front of Dylan. She can't be blame because Dylan only stays for a day or few hours with her.

"As you say Madam." He just decided to humor the Madam because clearly, she's just feeling frustrated with the way things are.

"Can i ask you something, Madam?" After few minutes of silent, he decided to ask what has been bugging his head for a while. Lyla just nodded. Too lazy to answer.

"Why did you sit with Master that day?" Lyla pondered before she turns toward Jake.

"I was gently trying to make him leave so i can close the restaurant." After he heard what she says, he nearly crashed the car into some tree. Master, why did you decided to marry this illogical person? He didn't know whether to laugh or cry for his Master's future.

"Then why did you agree to marry him?" Lyla went silent for a while. Looking out the window, she remembers seeing Dylan for the first time. That image of him looking so worn out. It's like he's gone out to battle in an endless war except he battle in his expensive suit. Sitting there just trying to take a breath and forgetting about everything at that very moment. It's not his handsome face that got Lyla staring at him. Not even his expensive because she doesn't know a thing about expensive brands.
