This Time, It's Forever

Months after that fateful meeting with her family, they didn't even bother to hide it from Claudia any longer. They even kicked her out and relentlessly attacking Claudia's biological father, Mr Zeus. In the past they have been a rival when they first started. But somehow along the way, Mr Zeus family invest in some business that made them loss a lot making they were on the verge on bankruptcy. Thus started the real war between Lyon and Zeus. The Lyon don't have any intention to prolonged the war but it seems Zeus kept on blaming the Lyon. After the fall of their business, Claudia's biological father enter himself in the underworld. Making a name but his connection is only limited. Thus with that small connection he started to get worst. Kidnapping Lyon's daughter on the day she was born and only to replace few months later with his own daughter. The Lyon's never made any move until recently. With Lyon and Dylan's power they manage to take down most of his illegal business making him raging mad everytime his subordinate reported their loss. He didn't even have the time to retaliate. The attack is continuous to the point he was running for his life. All these years the Lyon didn't make any move is merely because they thought Lyla was kept at his place. That's the flaw in Zeus plan when he gave Lyla away to his cousin. His cousin Liam, her so called family are facing trouble as well. This time Dylan no longer play soft with them. He's been toying with them for the past months while she's pregnant. Now that she found her family, he holds nothing back. Along with him is her brothers who brutally 'slaughter' the Liam's family to the point they couldn't stand up any longer. Braxton is in charge dealing with Dylan's ex fiancee family including Catherine. There's no way the enemies could hide since they are too strong. People have been talking about it like a hot potato. The news travel fast and any company who have a connection with the targeted family immediately withdraw. In the world of business it was easy to make enemies than to make friends. None could be trusted. Especially when you're targeted by big companies.

It was the weekend but Lyla was still at her restaurant. She's been neglecting her restaurant for quite some time as she was busy gathering info and dealing with her kids. But after meeting with her family, it seems she has lot of time lately. Her grandparent decided to stay with her at the same time taking care of her kids while she's at the restaurant. Even her parent wanted to come but she had to remind them about the company. In the end, her mother follow not long after her grandparent move in. Her mother on the other hand left her dad alone at M city. Her father was helpless and in the midst of attacking the enemy her father made a big move when he move the company main office in K city. It made her and Dylan speechless but she was happy at the same time. Her father even bought another land that's close to her house and build a house there. Dylan didn't expect his meaning of dropping by would be translated as moving to the K city for his wife sake. Her brothers wanted to follow suit but was warned heavily by her father. He even send them to business trip and handle most of the companies deal. But they still be able to drop by during weekend and have a feast together. And it seem today she will be making a feast for them also. She close the restaurant early during weekend since it's the time they gather together with her family at her parent's house. Dylan send Braxton to accompany her home and a couple of bodyguard since he was stuck with dealing with her brothers. That was supposed to be the plan. But to her surprise, Dylan arrive with her triplets the moment she turned off all the lights to her restaurant and locked up. She laughed looking at the hopeless smile on Dylan's face heading towards her while Aiden, Layla and Ryan already ran straight towards her.

Dylan only shook his head. It was always like this. He would easily be forgotten when their triplets saw their mother. He manage to ran away from Lyla's brother when he tossed Braxton into the lion's den. Which is why he's here to pick up his wife and in the mean time to enjoy their walk home. It was something they rarely do ever since they've been busy. Now that he had the time, there's no way he's going to let it pass by. As his eyes lingers on her, suddenly a red dot appear near heart. His heart beat fast. Calling loudly to Lyla as fear grips his heart as he ran as fast as he could to get to Lyla. He knew what that red dot mean. He just hope he makes it in time. He manage to give signal to his Shadow Team when the shots are fired.

Lyla who's already bend on her knees with arms wide open to receive her triplets crush hug. Distracted with the way they were happily calling her mommy and giggling along the way. Her attention is only on her kids when she heard Dylan's calling her name while running furiously towards her. Her smile falters and within that moment, she got up and gather all her kids in her hug before she felt a certain pain on her left shoulder and around her thigh. Ignoring the pain and using her last bit of energy, she scoop all three of her kids and ran behind the restaurant pillar. At that moment, another bullet lodge at her back. After she was safely hidden behind the restaurant pillar, Dylan shows up by her side. Taking a look at her injured body. She looked at his grim face, she could not help but touch his face. Her kids are already taken care by his Shadow Team as it seem the shooting finally stopped.

"They're fine. Don't talk too much. I'll get you out of here." He voice starts to tremble. He did everything he could to stop the bleeding while shouting his guards to bring a helicopter. He's not taking any risk. He need to bring his wife to the hospital as quickly as possible. Her body was covered in blood the moment she reach her side. He saw her gathering the kids when the shots were fired. In the next moment he saw she was shot twice. And despite her injuries, she still brought all three of them behind the pillar not far from her. He was not far from her and before he could reach her, she was shot again. His world starts to crumble when he saw her looking pale and covered in blood. He wanted to kill the person who hurt his wife a thousand time. Make the person unable to die but wishing they did. Sensing Dylan's rage, Lyla called out to him. She felt like she could no longer hold on.

"Dylan. Take care of the kids. Don't blame them. Love them...cough...stop threatening them while i'm away." Lyla try to keep her eyes open but it seems her body wouldn't listen to her. Seeing her eyelid almost close, Dylan panicked.

"Sweetheart, keep your heart open. Talk to me. Don't sleep yet. Don't you want to know what your kids did? Honey, please keep your eye open. For my sake and for our triplets. They will cry if you're not with. And they will accuse me taking you away. You need to tell them i love them as much as i love you. Wifey,,, please keep your eyes open. Please..." He begged her with tears on his face. His kids was also crying when they saw their mother's situation. They all gather around her and she tried to say something when darkness took over her. Dylan was shouting and his kids cry even louder. They were supposed to be walking together hand in hand, enjoying the view with their kids. But now they're on the way to the hospital with tears on their face.
