"Today, our aspiring little heroes will compete in a grand battle between each other, trying to obtain victory over their classmates!" Present Mic continued to announce with his solid electrifying tone of voice.

If he needs to present to the audience, he must do that in the right way. It's the perfect opportunity to show U.A. strength after all.

"But now, I think everyone is anxiously waiting for those fledgling heroes that you have heard so much about, let's not speak more, here to everyone... the first-years of the hero course!"

The voice of Present Mic continued to bring hype to everyone. Every single pair of eyes watched more closely the entrance from where every single student should come for this challenge.

What he said brought the hype to the maximum. Everyone glued their eyes to that inconspicuous gate.

"Class A!" Present Mic shouted passionately at everyone, to whom every single person exclaimed excitedly.

A colossal sound filled the entire stadium, and from that gate, a group of students came out. The cheers that were big before became bigger once again.

All the students of the 1-A were shocked to see that. They never expected to see a scene like this, not to mention the fact that they are those who are cheered on. It's the first time; for this reason, every student's expression got filled with tension and expectation, but at the same time, hope.

On top of a platform, the R-Rated hero, Midnight, was waiting with a smile on her beautiful face, and when she saw those fledgling students, her smile got bigger.

She can see how these students will despair in this Sports Festival, which fills her with joy. Licking her lips without others noticing, she said, "Now for the athlete's oath!"

"The representative is Katsuki Bakugo from Class 1-A, the person who got the 1st place in the entrance exam to say this oath!"

When the students heard that Bakugo was the one that had to say the oath, their faces paled. They know what is going to happen with Bakugo's character and from what he showed when those students came at the door of their classroom.

When they heard what Bakugo said, they knew they were spot on. Every student covered their faces, they could not believe that Bakugo said that thing, but at the same time, their spirits burned even more.

A smile filled their young faces as they looked up with flames in their eyes, Bakugo on top of the platform to which he showed an arrogant and proud smile.

His eyes burned with a flame that wasn't less than anybody else.

"Oh!" Midnight exclaimed in a surprised tone of voice. She did not expect this student to say something so challenging to everyone else, still not caring about that; she continued.

"We have a person with a good fighting spirit. Let's see what he got for this event, shall we?" continued Midnight while watching the audience, to which they cheered.

They can't wait any longer. For this reason, everyone kept shouting, "Game! Game! Game!"

"Ok, ok, I understand everyone can't wait for this fantastic event, for this reason, now we shall decide the first event!"

A vast screen illuminated behind her, and like this, like a roulette, words continued to appear in rapid succession.

Till a final string of text stayed on the screen without changing it anymore.

"I did not expect this event, [Super Maze Of Impossibilities]!"

The students at that name showed a nervous look. The term implies that it will be a maze, and from the adjective placed behind, it will be tough.

Not everyone, though, was worried. Many students showed a confident smile. They know that they will reach the end, and they will not fail here.

"[Super Maze Of Impossibilities] it's a maze as the name implies! Here you will need to reach the end while fighting with all your schoolmates, not to mention that we, the U.A. High School, prepared some "special" gifts just for you students!" clarified Midnight, trying to explain the rules of this game.

"Remember, we don't care as I said just now if you can fly, fly, if you can teleport, teleport, you have all the freedom of this world, just do not go overboard for some things!" continued to explain Midnight to those students with flames of eagerness in their eyes.

"Understood?" said Midnight with a smile on her face.

Right after, a massive wave of cheers filled her ears, making her smile even more significant.

"Then, prepare your positions!"

Without losing too much time, every student went to the positions. Every gaze was solemn but excited.

At that moment, a vast ding came, meaning the start of the game.

A cold went through the gym suit reaching their skins. Only now they understood that the floor was iced, and the culprit was a guy with half white, half red hair.

He used that ice to boost himself, reaching first than anyone an opening inside that colossal maze.

Every other student went on their feet, and while trying not to fall again, they started running. Some of these students used their unique quirks to move faster than the others.

Some used a laser to boost themselves, another one used vines to bring herself upwards, but not even halfway, an explosion sounded.

She looked at the culprit that caused her to fall. His "maniacal" smile was present on his face while he "flew" with his quirk making explosions behind him with his hands.

"Damned Todoroki!"

Immediately after, he boosted himself more potent than before. The explosions, which seemed to be significant early, now seemed huge.

"I will show you what happens if you surpass me!" That smile slowly got more prominent, while his eyes showed an "insane" glint.

Without waiting for the others, Bakugo, too, put himself in a lane.

After him, all the other students continued to run, who went the same way as Todoroki, those who went the same way as Bakugo, and those who choose new routes that no one went before.

Immediately this place got filled with tremendous battle sounds.

"Wow, I did not expect to see something like this!" exclaimed Present Mic, "I did not expect all those students to choose the violent route than trying to win strategically!"

"What a cool way to start! Am I right?"
