Kurumi, in this way, looked at everything that happened inside that maze. She, in a way, got bored with that. It's by no means a funny game, at least she thinks so.

It's just a continuous loop without a specific ending.

But finally, after nearly one hour, people have realized how the "good" way is just a fake thing. The first to discover is Iida that was the one who was ahead of everyone.

He looked at the wall in front of him with a twitching mouth. He doesn't understand why U.A. would lie with something like this.

The way to leave was in the place that was most obvious to everyone, the start.

This whole place was an impossible maze, as the name suggests. The only place to leave is precisely the start, from where all the students started.

Iida is not stupid. He realized fast that it's like this. At the same time as him, many others who saw him running towards a specific position did.

A whole group of students, like a herd, rushed towards the entrance.

Ahead of everyone was Iida. He was running with all himself using his Quirk at the best of what he can use before collapsing or not moving anymore.

He has an ace up his sleeve, just when he needs to make a final sprint, but it will negative him to use his Quirk for a short amount of time next. In case the next game is going to be held right after, it will be disastrous for him. For this reason, he doesn't want to use it.

Next to him, there was Bakugo, that with his explosions and his crazy smile on his face, rivaled Iida for first place.

Behind those two, a lot of other people were, for example, Shoto Todoroki. Another one is Hanta Sero that with his Tape Quirk, kept projecting himself forward.

Another student like him is Yuga Aoyama. With his Navel Laser Quirk, he pushes himself forward, even if he needs to stop to not collapse every few seconds for overusing the quirk. He doesn't want a stomach ache after all.

Not only those of 1-A, but many people from other classes were also in the leadership positions, even if the major part had people from 1-A.

"Hey, four eyes, move away and let me win!" shouted Bakugo while laughing, but his eyes were still a bit unfocused.

He just recovered some minutes before. If he feels, his eyes still hurt like hell. He can't help but think of that stupid girl that nearly blinded him with her quirk.

That thought made him extremely angry. His explosions became even stronger.

Iida did not look towards him at all. He doesn't want to look at this street kid that requires attention problems. At least now, he wants to concentrate fully on this race towards the ending.

"Don't ignore me!" Screamed Bakugo, but just as he was about to do something, a giant metal hand arrived in front of him.

He could only look at it coming with that great force towards him with a grimace in his eyes. He immediately used an explosion to dodge that attack boosting him to the left.

"And here it is! Ladies and Gentleman! The final line of defense of this maze!" Exclaimed Present Mic towards everyone.

Right after Present Mic's words, an "ocean" of a substance like paint fell from the sky towards every contestant.

Not many saw this coming, probably only a few. Todoroki was the first to notice it. He immediately used his Quirk to ice that colossal substance.

The problem is what came after. A considerable ice mass started falling towards everyone.

"You want to kill us?!" shouted Hanta Sero. His face was shocked; looking at that mass of ice, he never expected Todoroki to do something like this.

But even if he spoke that, his actions weren't slow. He used his tapes to swing him outside of the possible range.

Todoroki, even if his face was cold as ice, his inner spirit wasn't that calm. He did not calculate this thing. He iced that substance as an instinct.

"What a cold heart! Nobody expected that coming from Shoto Todoroki!" Said Present Mic.

Endeavor, watching what his son did, showed a smile.

Between these people and the start, there were only 100 meters. Everyone's expressions were excited but tense at the same time, just like when they started this game.

Everyone in the audience was excited too, seeing that finally, after an hour, a winner is going to be announced for the first game. Their eyes stuck to the screen.

The seconds slowly went by. Everyone came near the end. In the end, Iida seems to have made his mind. He started his ace up his sleeve, Recipro Burst!

Iida, using this move, forces the torque of his engines into overdrive, thus granting him extreme speed.

A white mist came out of his engines situated behind his legs. They then started making a rumbling. Iida that was faster than the other people, accelerated so much that it was hard to see him bȧrėly.

He risked that the next game will not be an active game where he needs to move like in this game continually.

Just when he was about to reach the end, a lost Midoriya appeared right next to the exit. His face was sad and disappointed.

He couldn't even reach some point towards the exit, this made him extremely frustrated and sad, but when he came at the entrance casually, he did not expect to see a hard of schoolmates running with all themselves towards the exit.

He did not expect to be kissed by the goddess of luck in this whole game. He wandered around the entire maze without realizing he came back always at the "end."

But at the same time, Midoriya saw Iida running with an expression he had never seen before.

They were just a few meters apart, and Iida should have covered this distance using not even a second. Still, for both of them, this moment became like an entire minute.

"What an unexpected turn of events!" Shouted Present Mic. The entire stadium boiled at the commentator's words together with what they have seen on the screen.

"Who would have guessed that a dark horse appeared right at that moment, still... he lost!"

Exactly, Midoriya lost, Iida's engine became faster and faster, and just at the last second, he crossed the line only a fraction of a second before Midoriya.

The screens immediately started replaying the scene where Iida reached the ending, just after Midoriya.

After some seconds, all the other people arrived. From a maze, the final part became a race against time itself.

Every teacher did not expect this to happen when they proposed this game. They thought people would use their brains and slowly comprehend that the start is the end. They did not expect that everyone would reach the "start" together.

"Congratulations to every student that reached the end!" said Midnight while slowly clapping her hands towards the students that were exhausted.

"Those that managed to reach the end were... 42 people!" explained Midnight, "Everyone else inside the labyrinth, don't have to worry, they will have opportunities."

Midnight, in this way, looked at every student with a smile on her face. Turning her head behind, she looked at the big screen from which the first game appeared.

"For this reason, let's not spend too much time, and let's look at the second game of today!"

The white screen, like before, started changing rapidly with names of random games until the name did not change anymore.

The students looking at that screen were surprised and delighted, especially some people, after all the Quirk they have can easily make a big difference in this whole game.
