Throne Of Time
Chapter 88 - 87 - I-Island (6)
Before Wolfram could even act, his "animal" instincts warned him of impending danger, something he would have died of if he hadn't escaped the helicopter in that precise second.
"Damn," the terrorist exclaimed.
Wolfram understood that this "danger" was the surprise that Kurumi Tokisaki sent him.
Without having thought a second time about what it could be, Wolfram took the forceless body of David Shield. After putting it on his shoulders, suitcase in hand, he immediately jumped out of the helicopter without worrying about the pilot or other members inside.
"Wolfram-sama!" they exclaimed as they saw Wolfram dive out of the helicopter.
They didn't know what was happening to make Wolfram flee with all his Might. This was until, in the passenger seats, something appeared. Raven was the definition they could give.
A pitch-black was the color of this "sphere," dark in its most dangerous beauty, with a haze of a purplish hue that circled around it in a gaseous state.
"What the heck ..." all the members of Wolfram's team tried to say before they were swallowed without being able to complete what they wanted to say.
A second, it was the time that was enough for the sphere to expand dramatically, reaching tens of meters in diameter.
Even the light seemed to fade into that purple globe of darkness, and the wind, which should have been the "erased one," instead raged disruptive around.
Precisely because of this, Wolfram turned around as he was falling. Just to observe what his instincts warned him to escape from.
In addition to that new bleak "sun," spicules of darkness with sometimes white rays spread out without concern for the surroundings, with the sole purpose of destroying, disintegrating what was around it.
Wonderful, their beauty as dangerous as the destruction they brought with them.
Wolfram felt that even these simple spicules and rays would be nearly fatal if he simply touched one.
His eyes narrowed to try to get a better look at what happened, despite the danger in his heart still not gone. His eyes were bloodshot, his breathing became heavier. The very thought of that almost sent a shiver down his spine.
'Danger!' Wolfram yelled in his heart.
His back straightened after he felt danger coming behind him in less than a second.
Without a second thought, he created a barrier with the metal he was wearing using his own Quirk.
The silvery color of the wall immediately reflected the bullet that hit him.
A tinkle rang in the ears of all present, a clear, distinct, and crisp sound in the destruction that surrounded them.
Seeing that the bullet she used did not reach its mark but was blocked by Wolfram, she did not get discouraged. Instead, Kurumi looked at the terrorist with a slight smile, then exclaimed, raising her hand to the sky.
"Zafkiel!"
A bolt of thunderous lightning shook that dark sky, bright with stars filling that clean canvas, making that empty space something immense and majestic, no matter how small those stars were in the sky. The impetuosity with which the lightning was unleashed seemed to make the destructive sphere behind Wolfram something harmless.
Deafening were the words Wolfram could use to describe what happened.
Subsequently, a large clock similar to brass appeared behind Kurumi. Polished was the clock's surface, bright in the environment it was called. Brilliant in its entirety.
Kurumi meanwhile changed into her Astral Dress. A red dress with flashy raven black details filled the fabric. Frills decorated that violent and lively dress, the combination of both, made the girl's figure wearing it even more striking.
Her bright red eye seemed to light up with a crimson light, which, in that gloomy environment, seemed to illuminate her face in a demonic light.
Her red lips parted, from which a single word escaped.
"Dalet!" exclaimed the girl.
Kurumi brought the flintlock pistol, one of the two weapons she had in her hands, over her head, aiming at that star-filled sky.
A gloomy cloud, black in the gaseous state, came out from the watch that Kurumi had called earlier. Entering the weapon's barrel, she had raised towards that canvas on top of her.
After a second, Kurumi seemed to sense that it was enough. With a quick flick of her wrist, she brought the barrel of the flintlock pistol to her temple.
Kurumi's finger slipped on the trigger and, after exerting little force, the trigger dropped down, firing the bullet that had meanwhile been charged by the power of Kurumi's shadow in the barrel, straight at that rosy skin.
The scene that appeared before Wolfram's eyes made his face contort, wrinkles returned to his forehead, as his eyebrows lowered.
The wound that was on the side of the raven-haired girl, tied in two ponytails, one smaller than the other, the same injury he had caused her, was now being treated, no, it's not correct to use the term "cure," but rather go back in time.
Wolfram is not stupid. After all, he is the same person who organized this terrorist act to block the entire security system and has taken advantage of the flaw in the staff, securing the most essential and dangerous gadget at the same time ever.
But now, that yellow flash that was running at a crazy speed along the vertical wall of the skyscraper has come to the correct height where Wolfram, Kurumi, and David Shield, still unconscious on the terrorist's shoulders, were.
Pulling on his legs, after making sure he wouldn't cause too much damage to the structure, he catapulted himself into Wolfram, still in the air in a split second.
"Damn!" Wolfram exclaimed, but his eyes were not showing danger. On the other hand, they were happy, as his mouth was, raising an arc upwards, thus showing his white teeth.
Using the same shield he used before to defend himself from Kurumi's bullet, Wolfram placed it this time in front of his body. He had a single objective, hiding mainly the scientist figure. If he could do that, the plan he thought at the moment would come to the realization.
The two collided immediately afterward. The stalemate that should have come did not appear. The shield that Wolfram held in his hand was pierced by the fist. The colossal force threw the terrorist, with even greater power than the hero's, towards the ground.
"Stupid! Haha!" Wolfram laughed, looking at the hero's furious gaze.
All Might heard the terrorist's words, but only after he threw his fist did he realize that on Wolfram's shoulders was his longtime friend, David Shield.
"Dave!" All Might yelled.
It was not Wolfram's plan to die at the hands of All Might. Instead, it was to crush him like the insect that he is.
A roar spread almost all over the island. A gray cloud, soiled with asphalt debris, rose in the place where Wolfram was hurled with such great force by the hero.
The hero's fist tightened. The veins thickened on the back of the hand, his blue eyes closed slightly. All these signs showed the hero's mood. All Might then took a deep breath to try to calm his troubled heart.
Obviously, that psychological activity of the hero failed miserably. His eyes were still filled with worry for the unconscious figure on the terrorist's shoulders.
But the hero at that moment had to resolve the fact that he found himself raised from the ground several hundred meters.
There would have been no problems of any kind to fall from that height for him, but this could not be said for Kurumi. At least, this is what the hero believed.
Yet once All Might turned in the girl's direction, the hero's eyes did not find the girl's figure in a red gothic dress falling down as he was doing.
The hero's eyebrows tangled, but he decided to think about the terrorist who did not die from that blow. At least, this was his feeling.
Even though the hero did not know all the strength the girl was capable of, if there is one thing he immediately understood, she does not require support unless she explicitly asks for it. Something that never happened during all the time that the hero knew her.
If All Might decided not to worry about Kurumi, Wolfram's situation could not be said the same. That terrorist smile, as if satisfied when he threw his punch, immediately made the hero reason.
As he fell, the hero's speed accelerated more and more until he was a few dozens of meters from the ground. He then threw a punch using almost all of his strength. This move created a gust of wind on that rough night that pushed the hero's body in the opposite direction of the fall, thus cushioning the force.
The rest of the meters were not a problem for the hero to bear with his physique. Even though he was almost in pieces by now. After all, he had to maintain the transformation during the entire duration of the evening.
As soon as the hero landed, his whole body immediately went rigid. Without him thinking about it a second longer, the hero pushed himself using the strength of his legs as far as possible from where he landed.
The ground at that precise moment split, forming long cracks in the asphalt more than twenty meters long. A long tentacle from that crack that appeared under his feet made its appearance.
A mixture of various metallic materials, from the most common such as street lamps to bolts to the most complex, such as engines of vehicles destroyed by the fall of the terrorist.
This scrap heap immediately attempted to hit the hero with a side sweep.
The movement of the metal tentacle created noise around itself, caused by the direction of the rigid body against the wind.
The cloud that was present at the point where the hero struck the terrorist was slowly fading away, but even if it hadn't completely disappeared, a voice that the hero recognized all too well entered his ears.
"Thank you, All Might. You really helped me by pulling me down to the ground. It can be said you saved me. What a great hero you are, saving the same villain you should capture!"
The voice was followed by other giant metal tentacles that stretched out of proportion in the hero's direction. Their tip seemed to reflect the light of the moon raised up high into the sky.
Before the hero even had time to counterattack, from where it would be difficult to defend himself, four pillars of rock followed, two from the left and right, one from above, and finally one behind him.
It could be said that All Might's was surrounded, and all the attacks that were approaching the yellow figure were the same potency as the first tentacle, if not stronger.
"Shit!" exclaimed the hero seeing this scene out with the corner of his eye.
If he were in the prime of his forces, this wouldn't be a big deal, but he had to maintain that form for too long, and his physical strength began to run low.
Even if the hero tried, it didn't do much good to him because once the hero had punched one of the pillars so that he could clear a "road," he overexposed himself to the other attacks.
When the hero destroyed a pillar, a new one appeared. Just this time, it was under his feet. With deadly power, the rocky column lifted the hero, and then, with a loud, if not thunderous roar, the hero was crushed by all the remaining pillars.
"Is that all, hero number one?!"
