"All right." Hoffman didn't walk side by side with Felix. Instead, he held Michelle's arm and walked towards the Elysian Hall, where the welcome banquet was to be held. Felix felt annoyed and angry, but he didn't reveal it on his face. He still maintained his gentleness and courtesy.

All the civil and military officials, and the emperor and the empress were seated in the Elysian Hall. Even Michelle was sitting quietly at her seat. She looked lovingly at Hoffman as he walked in.

"I've been feeling pretty good nowadays, so I was out for a walk. I happened to hear that Hoffman had come back, so I came over to have a look. I will go back soon." Francis looked at Hoffman and nodded to him. Then he asked his servant to take him back. Before he left, he looked at Harper with an uncanny expression in his eyes, which confused her and made her feel that he was somehow familiar to her.
