Tomb Raider King

Chapter 371: I'm here (2)

“So, Chairman-nim… This artifact is one that was excavated from a SS-Grade tomb.”

“Really?”

“Of course. You know about our Unsanctioned Excavation Team as well, don't you sir?”

“Ah…of course I do! TKBM’s shadow brigade, that tomb raiding team’s infa…no, no… Everybody knows about that team’s skills. They say that no excavation team is able to match this team…”

The young man in his mid thirties smiled after hearing that.

His hair was styled to look sleek and cool and he was wearing a clean dress shirt, tie, and dress shoes. The grey suit on top was an extremely expensive item. There were also the glasses that made him look smart and his pushover-like looks that were perfect for a scammer.

This was the Monarch of Fraud who had been a pain in Ju-Heon’s side prior to his returning to the past.

The Monarch of Fraud would infiltrate other competitors or competing nations to swipe their artifacts or use his glib tongue to pawn items off on the side.

He usually scammed for the company but he did things for himself every so often as well.

“Then can I take that as you agreeing to the deal?”

This Chairman of a global corporation started to think.

Yoo Jaeha was one of the 15 Monarchs with significant influence. But there was a reason the bounty was so high for his head.

‘That means he is a dangerous person.’

‘They also say that he is a scammer.’

The people on his team were whispering to him. Jaeha just smiled brightly.

“I can just go if you don’t want to do it.”

The Chairman became anxious as Jaeha got up without any hesitation.

“N, no! That’s not it! I just want to know how you can bring such good items out with you.”

Jaeha smiled wickedly.

“Chairman, I'm sure you've heard about it. I am on the same team as that Seo Ju-Heon. I have many chances to get my hands on these items.”

“Ooh.”

"He said he would send these to Chairman Kwon but I swiped them for VIP clients like you. It is my way of thanking you for last time.”

The Chairman gulped.

Yoo Jaeha landed the final blow to these gulping Chairman and his team.

"This is a SS-Grade artifact. Forget Divine-Grade artifacts, it is difficult to procure even A-Grade artifacts these days.”

The Chairman’s people started to whisper. Jaeha had a mischievous smile on his face.

"Even the mighty US is struggling to get Divine-Grade artifacts right now. If you consider it as a way to earn some points with the Monarch of War or the Monarch of Destitution……”

“O, okay! I'll buy it!”

“But please keep this a secret!”

They quickly went to get a contract. Jaeha just smiled.

‘Oh yeaaaah, one down.’

He chuckled internally after having made a ton of money at once.

‘He may be a retard but that Captain bastard really deserves to be the Captain.’

Jaeha gulped after looking at Ju-Heon’s artifact he had swiped.

That was right. It was now 10 years since artifacts first appeared.

A-Grade and higher artifacts were still coming out, but even the excavation teams led by Monarchs were struggling because they only came out in dangerous tombs now. Even when they tried to clear them, they lost everything to Ju-Heon’s tomb raiding team.

That wasn't all.

‘That Captain bastard is probably the only one who can clear the SS-Grade tombs that recently started appearing.’

That was why TKBM’s stocks were currently shooting through the roof.

But it didn’t matter.

‘The monkey does the tricks but the merchant takes all the money.’

The tomb raiding team was one that could never appear under the sun.

That was why all of the merits went to the other teams no matter how hard they worked their asses off to get the artifacts. And the artifacts themselves were all sent to Chairman Kwon.

That was what should have happened to this artifact as well, but……

‘Ah, he said we can have this. It is the substitute for our incentive.’

Ju-Heon was able to get the inferior products every so often.

For example, artifacts with risks that were too terrible. He could also have B or C-Grade artifacts.

But Ju-Heon was happy to at least get those things. Surprisingly, Jaeha had seen something in the Captain's cabinet.

‘Holy shit, this is a SS-Grade artifact.’

He didn't know whether the risk was too high or if Chairman Kwon gave it to Ju-Heon since he didn’t know how to use it.

Either way, Jaeha's eyes rolled over the moment he saw it.

‘The appraiser said that it might be one of the legendary Majesty’s Treasures.’

He pretended to break the artifacts on purpose while cleaning. Ju-Heon was angry but it didn't matter.

This was what he had said.

‘Okay, nothing I can do about it since it already happened. What can I do when you can't fix them?’

‘Ah, I'm really, really sorry! I'll throw these away and fill your cabinet with better ones later. Okay?’

‘Fine. You promised to fill it up. You know I cared a lot about these.’

‘Like hell I’ll fill it with good things later. Why would I do that? What a retard. Kakakakakaka!’

That was how Jaeha had openly swiped the artifacts.

As Jaeha took a sip of wine thinking that it was Ju-Heon's fault for leaving such valuable things in a ‘public’ area…

Ding.

Jaeha frowned after receiving a text message.

[A message from Pushover son of a bitch-nim.]

While that was going on…

“Do we really not need to report this to the Captain?”

This conversation was taking place on the roof of a building.

Dan was looking at something through binoculars. He had been scoping the area when he noticed Yoo Jaeha.

“Aren't those the Captain's artifacts he claimed to break not too long ago? Who knew he'd be selling them off like this?”

Ilya, who had been lying down, coughed.

"Just let it be. Who cares?”

Ilya Volgof in his mid-thirties…

He was much weaker and coughing quite a bit, probably because of tomb syndrome.

“What is the point of reporting it when the Captain is a pushover? Tsk, he can't even say anything to the stupid Monarch of Fraud.”

That was right.

Ju-Heon had quite the frustrating personality. He could not say anything no matter how much the people at the company treated him as a pushover nor how much trouble the Monarch of Fraud caused.

‘There’s probably no bigger pushover in the world.’

That was why Ilya was frustrated and angry.

“TKBM was only able to become number one thanks to him. Why can't that idiot say anything? It’s not like he has a good personality. Cough, cough.”

Of course, Dan knew the reasons why.

‘It’s probably for the medicine and for us.’

Him causing a ruckus would harm his subordinates as well.

Furthermore, Yoo Jaeha…

The Monarch of Fraud was different from the other team members. He was Chairman Kwon's personal restorer.

Ju-Heon was not giving Jaeha any crap because he was Chairman Kwon's person.

It would be similar to the son of the Chairman ending up on his team.

That was probably the reason.

Ilya hated Jaeha but just sighed in resignation.

“We’ll just waste our energy. It’s obvious he just brushed it aside again.”

But that was actually not the case.

Jaeha was tilting his head in confusion after receiving the text.

[A message from Pushover son of a bitch-nim.]

[Get your ass here while I'm asking nicely.]

“?”

He checked again and it was definitely Ju-Heon's number.

That was why they felt that something was off.

‘That idiot sent something like this?’

“What the hell? Does he think that I would be scared if he pretends to be strong?”

He wasn't scared at all and just ignored the text.

He was then about to go eat with these clients.

However…

[This is your warning. Don't even think about ignoring me if you don't want to get fucked up.]

“……?”

Jaeha was slowly getting a weirder feeling about this. He then got a call.

He realized it was Ju-Heon and angrily ignored it.

There was only one thing for him to worry about right now.

“Okay okay, please send the money here…”

At that moment…

“I told you that I'll fuck you up if you ignore it.”

“?!”

He heard the low voice right next to him. Jaeha jumped in shock.

Ju-Heon, who seemed to have appeared out of thin air, had his hand on Jaeha’s shoulder.

Around that same time…

Chaos was brewing in the timeline where Ju-Heon had become the Majesty.

[What the fuck?! The former Majesty bastard screwed things up!]

[That bastard went over to a different timeline instead of the world of nothingness!]

[Do we need to chase him?]

[Should we bring him back?]

The other apocalypse artifacts just sneered.

[No. It really doesn't matter where he went.]

[That’s true. I heard that the Seo Ju-Heon at that time was a breeze to handle.]

[!]

[Inform the Time and Space artifact. Tell it to just leave Seo Ju-Heon there. In some ways, it is the perfect punishment for a bastard who has returned to the past.]

They all laughed.

The bastard who had returned to the past to achieve his dreams would return to the dreaded world he came from and die there.

[He would just be pushed around again before Chairman Kwon kills him.]

[Yes. Seo Ju-Heon will not be able to come back here.]

[Now then, should we tell them to go get Seo Ju-Won? Should we force them to bring Seo Ju-Heon's sister over?]

They were aiming for Joy. Taking Ju-Heon as the Majesty was something none of them wanted.

But they could use Joy since her Affinity was so high.

They smiled while looking at the former Majesty’s damaged corpse.

[Your ploy to break your soul and escape 30 years ago is useless.]

[Your reincarnations will just end up walking down the same path.]

The former Majesty frowned.

The apocalypse artifacts just started to leave.

[Let’s proceed with our plan here.]

[Yes, we need to grab that bastard’s sister before he dies and turn her into the new Majesty.]

[We will then destroy this world once.]

But at that moment…

Grab!

[!]

The unconscious Ju-Heon grabbed one of the apocalypse artifact's tails as they were about to move.

Then Ju-Heon's unbelievable Majesty’s Dominance started to move.

The apocalypse artifacts were shocked.

[What the hell?! His mind should have been sent to the other timeline…!]

[What the hell is going on?]

Seol-A and Chloe were shaking in anger while visiting the support team.

"What did you just say?”

This was when the numerous excavation teams were supposed to get rewards for their work.

“Like I said, there is nothing to give to your Unsanctioned Excavation Team.”

Seol-A and Chloe were being mistreated by the support team for actually being a tomb raiding team.

Seol-A slammed the table in anger.

“Why did the rewards that should be coming to us go to the other teams?!”

The two of them who were in their late-twenties and early-thirties looked very pale because of tomb syndrome.

Their smooth skin was rough and they seemed to be in pain.

But it still didn't take away from their beauty to the point that they looked prettier than the healthy people in here.

They were pretty and talented. The other teams tried their best to drag them over to their teams but the two of them stood firmly by Ju-Heon's side.

“Please check again. That makes no logical sense.”

The support team responded in an annoyed voice.

“Like I said, Excavation Team 3 succeeded in clearing a major tomb this time. We received orders to give them 200% of the support. On the other hand, your Unsanctioned Excavation Team has a score of 0. You have had no achievements.”

Seol-A grabbed the back of her neck.

“No achievements? Unbelievable. We covered Excavation Team 3 for all of their failed tombs! And what?! That so-called major excavation was just a B-Grade beginner's tomb…! We got an artifact out of a SS-Grade tomb. But what?!”

“Ah, whatever. There is no record of it. No record. Or maybe the two of you want to give us some ‘benefits’ for it, Miss Seol-A and Miss Chloe?”

A perverted member of the support team snickered and the angry Seol-A barely stopped herself from kicking the table.

“I understand. Then what about anything remaining…!”

“Oh my, so sorry. What can I do about that? The rest of them are already scheduled to be given to us.”

“What the f…!”

It was at that moment.

“Then it’ll be fine as long as you guys hand over your shit.”

“?!”

Bang!

Everybody in here gasped.

The person who appeared was…

“Seo Ju-Heon?”

He threw something toward them.

Boom!

The ‘thing’ that Ju-Heon threw on the support team’s desk was Yoo Jaeha! His appearance was quite shocking.

“Y, Yoo Jaeha!”

That was right.

The bloodied Jaeha was squirming on the table.

Everybody gasped.

"W, what the hell?! Why the hell is the Monarch of Fraud in a bloody mess?!”

“A, are you crazy? How can you do this to the Chairman-nim’s personal restorer…?!”

The rope that had turned into yarn was currently choking Jaeha. It must have changed its specialty as it couldn't do any damage by hitting him in this appearance.

“Kyaaaa! The Monarch of Fraud is really going to die!”

Ju-Heon didn't care as he just walked over and kicked the desk.

“Shut up. Hand over my incentives you guys plotted with him to split.”

“W, what did you say?”

“And our rewards that were sent to team 3. Bring them back while I am asking nicely.”

“Huh? Hey. Seo Ju-Heon, you should know your pl…ahh!”

The support team contacted the higher-ups as soon as Ju-Heon started causing a ruckus.

“Yes sir, Seo Ju-Heon suddenly started causing a ruckus…kyaaa!”

Ju-Heon took the phone away.

He heard someone shouting through the phone.

[Tell that bastard that there will be punishments if he does this! Ask him if he doesn't need any healing artifacts!]

“Yeah, I don’t need it. Here you go, my letter of resignation. Are you happy now?”

The person seemed quite shocked after hearing Ju-Heon talk about a letter of resignation.

His reaction was to be expected. Although they treated Ju-Heon like a dog, he was the main reason TKBM was able to grow so big.

The person sounded much nicer now.

[N, no, wait…hey! Seo Ju-Heon… Ah, no, Department Head Seo? Wait…!]

Ju-Heon then smiled while looking at the support team members who swore at him.

“Ah, ask Department Head Shin for the medical fees. You can tell him it's in place of my severance fee.”

“W, what……?”

Ju-Heon then kicked the man and sent him flying.

“Ahhhhhhhh!”

“S, Seo Ju-Heon! Seo Ju-Heon has gone crazy!”

Ju-Heon laughed.

The apocalypse artifacts probably think that he is having a mental breakdown right now.

‘But if I think about it, this is like hitting the jackpot.’

There were artifacts that had only existed during this time among other benefits.

“I remember TKBM had a Divine-Grade bag artifact that could travel through time and space.”

He smiled and headed toward TKBM's artifact safe.

He was dragging the unconscious Jaeha by the leg behind him.
