Tou no Madoushi

Lynn was buying and collecting what she needed in preparation for her impending exploration of the 'Hedin Forest' a few days later.

"7 days of emergency food, hunting clothes for anti-warcraft, medicines for emergencies, smoke generators specially processed with magic for distress, rings for anti-warcraft...... I stopped by the grocery store, the clothes store, the pharmacy and the tool store... I can't buy the ring without Alfredo. Will you stop by tomorrow when you get home from college?"

Theo checks the store after this as he reads through the shopping list.

He was here to help Lynn shop.

"I'm sorry. Let me help you."

"Fine. Follow me, but I have to go around the stores. Alfredo said we'd have it all at the department store."

Renlil had to go around one store at a time because there was nothing like a department store.

Lynn and Theo were to spend all day finishing their shopping.

"Hey, aren't we moving anymore?

Theo largely said as he walked back to the nest of dove rats.

"Moving?"

"Because. The college, the office, the room, you have to ride the elevator every time you travel. I'm moving to Alfredo. Find a job over there, and we'll get it all done inside Alfredo. I've been riding the elevator for a long time now."

Theo had an unusual focus on distance traveled.

It was basically his policy that travel should be shredded as much as possible because it was a waste of energy and time.

That's not all he wants to get away from Renlil. He wants to quit his current job.

Theo and the head of the factory had gotten along badly since the case of the senior aristocrats in the factory.

The plant manager didn't seem to like Theo's treatment.

Every time he had something to do, he started to say what Theo was doing, and Theo rebelled all the time in Theo, and they were fighting like every day.

Theo was also blatantly leaking dissatisfaction in the workplace.

"Ah. I wonder why we work here. Salaries are shit. The job description is damned. Besides, my boss is damned. I'd like to move quickly. I wish I could quit this shitty workplace as soon as I have a new job."

Lynn had days where she had to work as Theo grumbled around in front of the person in charge's eyes and nose.

"Nah, I'm moving out of my mind at this point. Ren Lil is inconvenient for shopping, and I don't want to have time to travel. He said you should do something else or study in that time."

"But. Alfredo's prices are enormously high. It's not very much on our paycheck, but you can't eat it. He said he couldn't help paying the rent."

Lynn was distraught at first by the spirited streets of Alfrid, but his face turned bright blue when he saw the high price.

Alfld's prices were between two and three times those of Renlil.

I thought it was only such a price for the Magic Instruments that I only sell in Alfrid, and it was much more expensive even for Renlil and the daily items that have no philosophy whatsoever that I sell.

Lynn was confused not understanding why the price would change so much just because of the different places she was putting it.

And the key salary levels weren't very different from Renlil's.

"I found a place where I could share houses for rent. Some of them said we could live in a four-man room at the academy. If we could split it it between the four of us, it wouldn't be so different from the rent at Renlil. I have an idea about prices, too. Hey, move. Come on."

"Hmm."

Suddenly I heard Knorr screaming along with the sound of Lynn and Theo knocking on the door from next door as they were standing in front of their room.

"Morris! Morris! You're getting a debt reminder. You're three months behind on your rent. Come on, man. You gotta be kidding me. Seriously, man. You're here, aren't you, Morris? Morris! Come out. Oh, Molly!

Kunol was calling and scattering the door of the room next to Linda's room with a gunshot bang.

"Baba's got to go."

Theo abominably points to Knorr with his thumb.

"... yeah"

Morris, Linda's neighbor, seemed to lose in gambling and lose his neck.

I've been pulling into my room for a while now and haven't seen it come out.

That's why Knoll knocked me on the door every day.

The trouble was that the sound of knocking on the door and the cries of Knoll echoed in Lins' room as well.

Dobrat nests have thin walls, and Knorr knocks on the door of the gun room day and night. Lynn and Theo were often suddenly woken up in the middle of the night.

"I get it. I was hoping to live in Alfredo, too. Let's move out once."

Although Lynn got lost, she eventually decided to follow Theo's suggestion as usual.

The next day, Lynn and Theo were loading their luggage onto the carrier to cancel the contract for the Dobrat's nest and head to the new room in Alfredo to board the elevator to Alfredo.

Fortunately, I found a clerical job in Alfld that I could work for if I could read and write magic.

The factory job will quit full of this month and will be working in Alfld starting next month.

In addition to the clothes, books and equipment found in the rat's nest, the carrier was also loaded with daily groceries and food for a month bought in Renlil.

"You can live in Alfredo for Renlil's price, right? Once a month, if you just buy them in bulk, they don't take up that much time either."

"I see."

The two board the elevator for each carrier for the less crowded hours of the elevator.

All the luggage wrapped in bags and wrapped around each other was loosely the same height and width as the two heights, but with the cane of mass, it could easily be transported to the inside of the elevator.

"Okay. Let's go. 67th floor, to the college city of Alfld 28th Street."

When Theo casts a spell, the elevator begins to set off momentum.

Lynn waited for the elevator to arrive in the city of Alfrid as she made a heartbeat to the new life that was about to begin.

You're almost there.

I snapped as I watched Lynn change the color of the aisle through the elevator.

The passage that Lynn and the others are now passing is turning from gray to red.

It was a testament to reaching a height of more than 50 floors.

"Oh, I can finally say goodbye to Renlil. Hmm? What is this guy? Go away."

Theo drives away with his cane when he sees a fairy clutching around the luggage he's riding with.

The fairy went somewhere frightened by Theo's rambling way of saying it.

Lynn tilted her neck. It was common in this tower of magicians for fairies to appear out of nowhere in this way.

But it's never been like this before that I get stuck in my luggage.

It seemed to Lynn that the fairy was warning him of something.

Oh, here we are.

While I'm doing that, I see 67 letters in the elevator aisle, proof of arrival at Alfrid 28th Street, 67th floor.

When the elevator stops, there is a deafening sound called beep and a double lock on the door. I tried pushing the door to try and it didn't open.

"Is that it? What is it?"

"Is it a malfunction? Get it up and running. We're in a hurry."

Theo made a bad move.

"Yes. Hey, guys, stop right there."

Black robe people are coming. They're from the club. Lynn is horrified to think she's going to be able to get off soon.

But the people of the association took Lynn and Theo off the elevator or held them in captivity. Start searching for more of Theo and Lynn's luggage.

"Hey, what the hell?"

"Aha, this is totally out"

"What?"

"You guys collect 20,000 Legica each."

"Ha!? Ahhhhhhh?

Theo gave a barbaric voice.

"Oh no. Why do I have to pay for it"

Lynn protests.

"Carrying more than a certain amount of cargo in an elevator for passengers is taxable."

"Collect... taxes... you say?

"Yeah. That's why 20,000 legicas"

Theo protested desperately.

"Why not? The elevator is powered by our magic. What are you taking taxes for?"

"Um... Elevators also cost management and maintenance. I'm on it for free, so I have to pay for the cargo."

"Hey, but... 20,000 legicas... more than 50% of the price of the product. Whatever it takes, you're too bold!

Theo's voice was trembling.

"Um, come on. He said he was rattling. I'll get you out of here."

"You're graduate students, aren't you? Refusal to collect or something. It's already a fine violation of the law. I have to cancel my degree. You know what?"

"I'm paying high school fees, aren't I? Your parents will be more burdened with this if you become a papa. Don't you think I'm sorry?

Lynn gave up sighing.

(I see. Alfrid's prices are so high because of the levy)

"Theo, let's give up. We'll have to pay for this place."

"Shit!

Lynn and Theo had to hang up their new part-time jobs and factory jobs to live at Alfredo prices.
