Tou no Madoushi

Episode 7: Association of Magical Instructors

Lynn and Theo looked around at the city's major facilities until the reception of the Magic Instructors Association opened.

libraries, hospitals, banks, blacksmiths, grocery stores, grocery stores, various shops, temples, arenas, etc.

All looked fine from Lynn. Especially built using vast grounds, the arena was a breathtaking spectacle. Watching the magicians compete for moves from the domed audience was an exciting sight to imagine.

I didn't really think this was the lowest level city in the tower.

Eventually it was 9: 00 and Lynn went to register with the Magic Instructors Association.

It was my uncle who didn't feel like he worked in the bureau who was responsible for Lynn's registration. He is wearing a black robe just like Ewing and the exam officers.

"Uh, it's you, Lynn. Mr. Ewing and Mr. Knoll have told me. Apprenticeship Magic Instructor Still Before College...... and. Don't you have a last name?"

"Yeah. Well."

Lynn blushed and leaned down.

Come on, Lin was also becoming aware that her origins were embarrassing.

I didn't think it would be so inconvenient not to have a last name because we were all aware of Lynn's circumstances in our hometown.

The registrar looked back at the paperwork again after staring at the phosphorus as if it were giddy and frigid.

"Fair enough. Now, I'm going to explain what it's like to live on this tower, so I'm going to listen to you."

The registrar began to explain to Lynn.

Must not enter college areas above 50 tiers other than college passes, that college exams are in December, that college students must always aim for more than living in the tower, and that teachers who have been recommended meet once a month to report on the progress of their training.

Especially with regard to the progress report to the master.

"Because I'm supposed to have Mr. Ewing come to the association after lunch. Be sure to discuss the future at that time, i.e. training policies and learning plans. Let me start by thanking you. I owe you much for bringing me here. I have to show my full gratitude. It is my duty as a disciple to listen carefully to my master and repay him."

"Okay."

"Mm-hmm. Good. You heard about the loan, right?

"Yes."

"The apprentice magician is lent 50,000 legicas. Well, I wouldn't have a problem with my life for a month if I wasn't luxurious. Interest free if repaid during the year. The rent for the dorm you live in is 5,000 legicas a month. By the way, have you decided on a job yet? How much magic can you use?

"No, nothing yet"

"I guess. Then work at the factory."

"Is it a factory?

"Mm-hmm. A factory has a job, no matter how immature a magician. Maybe your roommate works at the factory, too."

"Okay."

Lynn decided her mind when she heard Theo was working too. Because I thought it would be easier to work than any other job. Lynn already regarded Theo as a person she could count on.

"Then I'll go through the conversation. Get him to work early tomorrow. Like buying a cane by tomorrow. The daily allowance is 1000 legicas. If you want a better job, study a lot and learn magic."

Personnel searched the drawer for gossip and took out a big seal.

"Show me the back of your right hand."

Lynn hesitates to offer her right hand on her desk.

The person in charge presses a seal on the back of Lynn's hand.

"... eh"

The pain runs like a flash of burn in Lynn's hand.

When the person in charge released the seal, the back of Lynn's hand had a burning mark of magic letters.

"That's the replacement for ID in this tower. Renlil's most public facilities are available by showing them."

The rep taught Lynn a spell that would cause Lynn to float or disappear his ID.

"Then that concludes the process. Do you have any questions?"

"No, nothing in particular. Thank you."

"Great. I'll tell you one last thing."

The rep suddenly looks strange.

"Every year a man like you comes to this tower. Those who are told that they have the gift to become magicians, and come with sweet expectations that they can become magicians as long as they come to this tower. But reality isn't that sweet. There are many who come to the tower to end their lives as junior workers who cannot fail to take the college exams of good things either. I'll just tell you this. The Wizard is not sweet enough to be someone like you who doesn't know what every horse's bones are. You won't even be able to take an entrance exam to college."

"You're not listening. I can't believe I have a written exam. Besides, I can't believe I need tuition to make money locally. It's like a fraud."

Theo slapped Don on the table like he was angry or something.

After completing their registration, Lynn and Theo were having an early lunch in the kitchen Gmorrier, a short walk from the association. According to Theo, it's the cheapest dining room in the city.

Theo butched his dissatisfaction with the tower and the magician against Lynn all the time here.

"Besides, by bringing us in, the masters are receiving money from the association. Trafficking in human beings is a good place."

Lynn had trouble figuring out how to react.

From Lynn, who was originally a slave, the treatment remains much the same as before.

But after listening to Theo, there was a confusion about Yuin and the exams' inexplicable attitude.

Their attitude toward phosphorus, which seemed polite and somewhere cold, was the same as that toward merchandise.

"Besides, the aristocrats, they hire a demon tutor beforehand to prep the exam. My master never came to the tower without me."

"Theo took a written exam, didn't he?"

"Oh, I fell, though. You can't go through without any precautions. That's it. That's why I went to complain to my master. If you have an exam, tell me first. Tell me how to spell magic. Then what do you think he said? 'Why should I take the time to study for you?' You're my master. What do you think of this?"

Theo spoke cleverly as he stood up for dinner.

That's a terrible story.

"Right? Thanks to you, I'm studying on my own. It's just a nasty exam."

"Is that so hard?

"That's a lot of memorization anyway. There are hundreds of magic words just letters. Grammar is complicated, too. We have to do our job."

"I wonder why my master won't teach me how to study."

"I'm busy. I don't know what you're doing. Lynn, prepare yourself. Maybe they'll leave you alone. You can't expect a decent education from them. I'm not studying on my own."

"In addition to studying, you have to work."

"Yes, yes. It's tough. The job is decent, too. Simple work on days to come and days to come. It's like a slave job. Hey, don't you think?

"Well, I forgot to tell you, I'm actually a slave class."

Lynn said as she blushed.

"Huh? Really?"

Theo looked a little harder.

"Well, it doesn't matter what rank you have as long as you become a magician. Don't worry about it."

"Yeah. Thanks"

Lynn was horrified to see Theo react. At least he doesn't seem to change his attitude on the grounds of class.

"Anyway, let's start with enrolling in college. Otherwise, nothing starts."

"Speaking of work... Speaking of which, they told me to buy you a cane."

"Oh well. We'll stop by the Chamber later."

"Do you have a minute? I need you to let me through."

Lynn can speak from behind. There was a threesome there in a crimson robe. I can't seem to get through because of Lynn's sitting chair.

"Oh, yes, go ahead"

Lynn pulled the chair to make it easier to get through.

"Thanks"

A bunch of red robes sat a little away from Lynn, but close to the point where they could hear the talk.

Lynn stole a look at them. They all uniformly have a gold clasp on their red robes.

"Oh man. You're always garbage in the dining room here. I don't mind being cheap."

"We're common people. Unlike the nobles. We have to live a prudent life."

The men in the red robe get their hands on the meal complaining.

"Those are the college guys. Everyone who goes to college wears that red robe. It's like a uniform," Theo eared to Lynn.

"They all have different robe colors depending on their position and position."

"Oh, the black robe guys are either members of the association or they're hired by the association. These are the people involved in running this tower. All you see in Renlil is more or less the guy with the red or black robe."

Lynn continued to listen to their talk.

"How can a cafeteria be so primitive when it's a magical city?"

"Don't say that, Agle. There's something in the adage." Don't use magic all the time. "I have to work on my own."

"Heck."

"Don't slap me in the mouth for nothing. I'll start a meeting. I have to finish it during the day."

Will a bunch of red robes be the content of the class, something difficult to start talking about?

While spreading the drawings on the table. Oh, not really. I started talking about it not being like this.

"How about embedding magic stones here? The question of mass should be cleared"

"No, but then the acceleration..."

Lynn was honestly impressed with how they seemed to be doing something advanced.

"That's amazing. College people."

"Hum. It's no big deal. Those guys"

Theo looked like he wouldn't even put it on his teeth.

But pure Lynn looked cool just because her brother or sister, taller than herself, was wearing a college uniform and talking about something that seemed difficult.

My chest fills with anticipation and anxiety when I wonder if I can be like them all the time.

Lynn remembered the girl in the white robe, Atrea.

Red robes are college students, black robes are association officials. Then I wonder what her white robe could possibly mean. I thought she was a college student, but is it different? I wonder what the white robe means.
