Tower Of God: Fan Fiction

"Well, enough of that. I guess it's my turn now."

"My name is Avren. I came from the outside of the tower, so I can be considered as an irregular. I also came from one of the nine Eternal Territories, The Eternal Haven."

Although Long Jin had predicted that he also came from an Eternal Territory, he didn't expect it to be the Eternal Haven.

"As for my position...I think I can play anything."

Joice and Long Jin nodded their heads. They have witnessed this man's strength, so they had no problems with what he said.

"Now, how can we go to the next floor?"

Joice asked suddenly. Jin also looked at Avren waiting to hear his solution.

"If I were alone, I would have opened a space channel to the next floor, just like how I came from the first floor. But now I can't. You guys can't handle its power, it will tear you apart."

Jin and Joice were a little embarassed.

"So I will go have a little chat with the guardian to see if he could send us to the next floor."

Jin and Joice had a bad feeling about the 'chat' he mentioned.

"But before that... Joice, I'd like to ask you a question."

Joice was surprised and a little puzzled. But she didn't refuse.

"Please ask."

Avren asked:

"If you and Long Jin had a fight, who do you think will win?"

Joice was taken a back. Even Jin was a little surprised.

"He is a little stronger than me. But if it's an all out battle, I think it'll be a tie."

Her voice was serious and confident.

Hearing her answer, Avren smiled lightly.

"Correct. But that's only inside the tower. If you fight outside, he could kill you with a finger!"

Joice was shocked but calmed her self down.

"Why? What's the differnce?"

Avren had a sly smile on his face.

"You should figure that out yourself. During our journey, try to observe him when he's fighting. Let's see how many floors it will take you to figure it out. Haha, good luck."

"I am going to the guardian now, wait for me here."

After he disappeared, Joice kept staring at Jin. She was looking straight at his face. Her face was a little serious and curious but at the same time, cold and indifferent.

She kept staring untill Jin, who was usually grim and intimidating, started to become uncomfortable.

In his heart, he cursed Avren for making Joice observe him all the journey. Why couldn't he just tell her?!

But seriously, what's the reason for her losing the fight easily outside the tower?

If he knew the reason he would just tell her to get rid of that stare.

"Cough. Princess, could you stop staring at me?"

He finally couldn't take it anymore so he asked.

Joice replied coldly:

"I am observing you."

"Avren said to observe me when I am fighting, not all the time!"

Joice thought about his words and found it reasonable.

Finally, she took her sight away from him and stayed silent.

Jin sighed in relief. It seems she isn't that unreasonable after all.

A few minutes later, Avren appeared again.

He looked at Joice and Jin.

"Ready to go?"

Joice and Jin nodded their heads.

"Alright, send us now!"

The three of thim were instantly teleported to the next floor.
