“How much would that cost?!” Zhao Mengke made a quick mental calculation. For the price of one unit, after doing a friendship discount from the retail price from his uncle, the cheapest would be around three hundred thousand. 

For a quantity to cover the entire villa – 

Zhao Mengke tried to recall the size of Lou Wei’s villa. 

For such a big villa, is thirty units even enough to cover the whole area?

It would cost at least over ten million dollars.

“This is crazy.” His lips trembled as he spoke, “Had Wei-ge gone mad…?” 

Lin Xiao was also in a daze. He was unable to answer Zhao Mengke’s questions.

There should be no delay to this matter, mainly because it was too shocking. Zhao Mengke was very eager to tell his uncle about this shocking news right now.   

He followed Lin Xiao and got into Lin Xiao’s car. The moment he got into the front passenger seat, he took out his phone and called Zhao Zheng.

Once the call was connected, Zhao Zheng greeted him over the phone, “Mengke?”

Zhao Mengke hurriedly said, “Uncle, Wei-ge said he wanted to buy some holographic equipment.”

“Silly boy, with Lou Wei’s relationship with us, how can you let him pay for it?” Zhao Zheng patted his chest and said, “We can afford to send him a set. Just treat it as my new year present to Xiao Lou!” 

But after he finished speaking, he didn’t hear Zhao Mengke’s response after a long while. Zhao Zheng said, “Hello? Hello?” He thought his call had been disconnected.

When he was about to hang up the call and call back, he heard Zhao Mengke replying to him, “Uncle, I think we’ll just let him buy it himself.”     

Zhao Zheng frowned, “What’s wrong with you, Mengke? We shouldn’t be stingy with our friends…”

“He wanted a quantity that can be installed at every corner of his villa.” Zhao Mengke said, “Uncle, are you still gonna give it to him for free?”  

Zhao Zheng, “…” Is Lou Wei crazy? What sort of a big venue is he planning to use with so many sets of holographic projectors? 

It took him a long while to react. He cleared his throat and immediately changed his mind, “In that case, we should do a clear account even with blood-related brothers. I’ll pack the goods in the warehouse tomorrow and I’ll send them to Xiao Lou tomorrow afternoon. I will get someone to send the bill when they deliver the goods. However, I will waive the delivery fee. That will be my new year’s gift to Xiao Lou.” 

“Tsk,” Zhao Mengke smacked his lips, “It’s a deal, Uncle!”

After he hung up the phone, Lin Xiao, who was next to him, turned around to look at him, “How was it?”   

“My uncle is indeed my uncle. He never panicked and he is fast to take action!” Zhao Mengke put away his phone, “He’ll deliver them to Lou Wei tomorrow.” 

Lin Xiao pondered while nodding. He is still frowning, “Why would President Lou need so many sets of holographic equipment all of a sudden? I thought the development of  ‘Heaven’s Dream’ holographic version wasn’t ready yet?”  

“Who knows,” Zhao Mengke adjusted the backrest of the passenger’s seat to a position that he felt was the most comfortable. He then tilted his head and casually said, “It’s impossible that they are for his personal use.”

This is of course impossible.

Lou Wei only said that he wanted to install the equipment at the whole villa, but he never said that it was for his villa.

Buying over ten million worth of holographic equipment for his own personal use? What is he trying to do?

Moreover, after working with Lou Wei for so many years, he never see Lou Wei spent a fortune on his own toy…except buying a car.   

So, Lin Xiao nodded in agreement and turned his car around to send Zhao Mengke home.

The next afternoon.

Zhao Mengke and Lin Xiao watched as the workers and the person in charge of the installation of the holographic equipment unload the goods at Lou Wei’s house. They almost couldn’t hold the bills in their hands properly.  

Zhao Mengke scratched his head, “Is my eye playing tricks on me?!”

Lin Xiao helped the workers hold the door open as he watched them carrying boxes of expensive equipment into the villa. He gulped, “…nope.”

Zhao Mengke wanted to convince himself that this was all fake.

This morning, Wei-ge didn’t use the money from his personal savings to pay the bill; Wei-ge didn’t say that this stuff was not meant for the company’s use and they were for his own personal use; the boxes of equipment being carried inside the villa never happened.  

But Lou Wei’s car was parked outside the villa and he could see Lou Wei supervising the workers inside the villa. The furniture in the villa was moved to the side and covered with white cloth…

The series of scenes that he saw with his own eyes clearly told him that…  

This is real.

Wei-ge had spent so much money just to install holographic projectors in his own house. 

Zhao Megnke realized that he is getting old. 

Perhaps, it was him who couldn’t keep up with the spending trend of young people nowadays…

But, even if you are filthy rich, this is not how you should be spending your money!

Isn’t it better to spend ten million to buy a Ferrari?!

It took a long time for the technicians to install the projectors, adjusting the lens and projectors repeatedly, and doing multiple angle testing. Luckily, Lou Wei’s villa is very spacious, so they don’t really have to worry about furniture blocking the projection path.    

The workers took the whole afternoon for installation. They finally finished their installation at eight o’clock in the evening. 

After Zhao Zheng’s Hua Li Holographic Technology workers finished their work, Lou Wei and Zhao Mengke sent them off personally and turned their heads to glance at the living room behind them. 

The villa was originally decorated in a simple and luxurious style and was now surrounded by black and white holographic projectors. Because Lou Wei ordered the high spec models, the colour of those projectors matched the interior color theme of Lou Wei’s villa, so they didn’t really look very out of place. But instead, it added a touch of modern technology style to the exquisite and harmonious decoration of the villa. Zhao Mengke had been in a daze since this morning. He finally had the chance to ask, “Wei-ge, what are you trying to do with so many holographic projectors?”
