"Bang!" Without any warning Garp's 'fist of love' struck his head, making him groan in pain.

"You merciless old man, it hurts," Blaize whined while Garp grinned.

"What a big words for a brat who haven't come out of mother's embrace. You aren't even a fledgling in the real world.

Get out! Use your time and train well." Garp waved his hand and shooed him away.

Days went by, just like that more than 20 days passed.

Blaize trained well in this 20 days time frame and polished his Rokushiki skills well; especially his Tekkai and Soru. His attributes also improved, albeit a little.

Most of the recruits who went for the hunting mission came back aside from a few. Vergo came three days back while Shuzo arrived yesterday.

Today they will be assigned a marine rank based on their one-month performance and strength.

Around evening they were called to a meeting room to discuss their ranks. As Blaize reached the venue, he saw Vergo, Shuzo, Gion, and others he knew from the training ground.

It's just the atmosphere is grim while everyone had a solemn expression. Blaize went and sat beside Shuzo who already reserved a seat for him.

"I am always strong, it's you guys failed to see it," Blaize beamed, giving a smug look.

Shuzo snickered and asked, "Did you know? Four recruits lost their lives fighting pirates."

"Oh!" Blaize was surprised a little and also knew it's inevitable. Facing fierce pirates who fight with intentions to kill, the recruits with weak hearts will have a tough time.

Only those who are strong both physically and mentally survive the sea.

After 10 minutes or so, Admiral Sengoku entered the meeting room along with Garp and Vice-Admiral Tsuru.

"Congratulations! All of you have performed very well and some of you have exceeded my expectation.

Let me list the accomplishments of top achievers in this hunting mission. First, Blaize: He destroyed Scourge pirates and DemonBear pirates whose total bounty added together is 300 Million berries.

He gets 500 merit points as both the crew captains were formidable Devil fruit users."

Hearing this, the recruits exclaimed and clapped while discussing huskily with the person next to them. Sengoku continued after silencing them.

"Second, Vergo: The bounties of the pirates he defeated equal to 200 Million berries. His achievement earned him 300 merit points."

"Third, Gion: The bounties of the pirates she defeated equal to 120 Million berries. Her achievement earned 220 merit points as she defeated a devil user along with Blaize."

"Next, Shuzo: The bounties..." Sengoku continued and listed the first ten achievements of the recruits.

"With the merit points, you guys can purchase anything: Devil fruits, weapons, learn Haki, get a promotion, and so on.

Next, we will talk about your ranks. The top five recruits will be promoted to a captain rank while the others will be given a rank of Commander, Lieutenant Commander, or Lieutenant based on their performance.

From today onwards, you guys aren't just recruits but Marine Officers with rank and carrying justice behind your backs."

Sengoku stopped for a moment and continued again: "To the inhabitants of this world, who fear the prevalence of criminals and Pirates, we are the sole support.

We will bring 'Justice' to all the criminals and anyone who disrupt the peace, even if it means dying in the process."

As for Blaize, he didn't listen to Sengoku's speech as something got his full attention. A new feature has been introduced to the system which completely stunned Blaize.

Wasting no time, Blaize checked the 'Achievement tab' that emerged beside the Task tab.

Clicking it, he saw a list of Achievements that completely caught him off guard and dumbfounding him to some degree.

There are countless jobs listed in the achievement tab and most of them are weird as far as he's concerned.

There are other achievements related to his occupation as a Marine. Some of them are,

There are also rewards for becoming Fleet Admiral and Commander-in-chief. Some of the weird achievements he had seen are,

Punching a celestial dragon will get him two constitutions and one free attribute point.

At the same time, if he kills a celestial dragon, he will get five constitution and three free attribute points.

Some other achievements are like Defeat Garp, defeat Sengoku, defeat Akainu, Defeat Kuzan, and so on. Seeing these achievements, Blaize nearly had a headache.

But, inwardly he was happy. Completing the achievement means, he can increase his strength much faster.

His thoughts were interrupted by Shuzo, who shook his shoulder and said, "Come on Blaize, let's go. What are you daydreaming about?"

"Nothing!"
