Transmigrated Into The Book

The sound of the beeping machine welcomed his ears the moment he blinked his eyes. The ceiling was white and the surroundings were quiet. The strong smell of disinfectant invaded his nose, he realized that he was in the Hospital.

"I'm here again" Min Jun uttered

He has always been in the hospital since he was little, his parents were always busy working their best while he was spending his whole life inside the Hospital with this unusual apparatus and machine connected to him. 

It was like he was reminiscing about the old days, but it was all in the past now. After leaving the family he had behind, Min Jun learned different things. Some are exciting and some are tiring, but these things didn't stop him from dreaming.

He couldn't stop himself from smiling alone after he realized that he collapsed inside their private vehicle. He won't be surprised anymore when Jin Hyuk asks him to leave the band. It was a long way for him to achieve such a normal body, he didn't even know if he could still make his immune system stable.

He was just a sick child back then, who suddenly had a dream in life. If his life in the hospital ends, he will choose to enjoy the things he wants to do. But it wasn't that easy for him, because his parents were against it.

"Don't worry, I'll be by your side"

He remembered the look Taehwun showed him that day while saying these words. His only friend in the neighborhood never left him, no matter what. Taehwun even stands for him when the other kids bullied him. 

Min Jun smiled "I guess this is the end" he whispered

The creaking sound from the door made him silent. There were footsteps, making the way towards his bed.

Min Jun breathed deeply, he was almost preparing himself from this scenario every time. He already knew the protocol in the entertainment industry and he knew that he will not last long.

"Min Jun?" 

He heard the familiar voice, his blurry vision became clear. Seeing their manager take the seat beside his bed "How are you?" Jin Hyuk asked

Min Jun can feel it, the tension between Jin Hyuk's question. It was the same tone he heard from their previous managers, asking him if he's okay to make sure that he was stable then they are going to tell him to quit.

He tried to smiled "Y-Yeah,manager" he uttered "I guess"

Jin Hyuk didn't respond immediately, he just lowered his head then Min Jun noticed that his back was curling and shaking, it seemed like he was crying. He clenched his palms in silence.

"Manager?" he asked "What's wrong?" 

Min Jun jolted when Jin Hyuk sprang up from his seat and slammed his hands on the bedside "Why didn't you tell me about your condition?!" Jin Hyuk exclaimed, his eyes were still swollen as if he had just cried.

Min Jun couldn't say a word, processing the words he heard from the male. Usually, their previous managers will come straight to him to tell him to quit immediately, handing him the extermination contract in an instant. 

"M-Manager?" he mumbled

Jin Hyuk leaned closer "You're always smiling and saying some straightforward things and yet you couldn't even tell me your condition?" he snorted "You don't trust me, do you?"

Min Jun stayed still, then he wrapped his arms around his stomach "Ha Ha Ha!!!" he laughed very hard that he almost slumped back on the soft bed. Swaying his legs in so much joy.

Jin Hyuk blushed "W-Why are y-you laughing at me?!" he sneered

Min Jun stopped and looked at him "Manager, you are so cute!" he said before giggling again

Jin Hyuk sat back, pursing his lips out "Don't just laugh out there, you kept me worried! Idiot!" he gave Min Jun a light smack on the head

Min Jun wiped the tears of joy from his eyes "I guess I'm fine now" he said "I can leave the band with no worries" he said with a smile

He was feeling very heavy and uneasy a while ago but when he felt that Jin Hyuk was worried about him, all of his regrets and sadness vanished right away. He smiled sluggishly, thinking that this is the end. The dream he really wanted will fade away in front of his eyes. He was ready to face the consequences.

"Who told you to leave?"

Min Jun flinched, his eyes widened up "What?!" he exclaimed in surprise "W-What do you mean, manager?" he asked with a puzzled face.

Jin Hyuk pushed his chest up and cleared his throat "As the manager of the BL69 band, I will not gave you permission to leave us behind" he said

Min Jun froze, the doubts inside his thoughts started to shatter like broken glass. He could not believe what he heard. Jin Hyuk doesn't ask him to leave, in fact the man is begging him to stay.

"B-But manager? I thought you came here to ask me to quit because of my condition?" he asked with a straight face

Jin Hyuk looked at him "Min Jun, you are talented, you have the guts and confidence as an idol, you're always lifting up the atmosphere in the group...You are a good singer and dancer, your jolly personality is helping everyone to have positive vibes" he made a smile, enough to encourage the male

Min Jun didn't answer,his head remained down.He thought that this was the end.

Jin Hyuk brushed the male's hair "Don't ever think of me like those previous managers of yours" he chuckled "I know you can do more..."he said

Min Jun's head automatically looked up to Jin Hyuk when he heard his words of encouragement. His eyes started to well up in tears "M-Manager…" he mumbled

Jin Hyuk smiled at him like he was totally sparkling in Min Jun's eyes. The precious smile he made warmth up the male's heart. "I'm not good at words but..." he paused "I believe in you because it's you, Min Jun"
