Chapter 159 - World 7.8

"Asher?"

"Asher?"

"Yow, Asher!"

Asher blinked and shook his head, he was so dazed that it turned him unconscious for a minute. He looked up and saw William and Daniel waving their hands in front of him. "Sorry, my mind suddenly got occupied" he mumbled

William grinned and tapped his shoulders "Let's have some coffee, Manager said that he will treat us...ehehehe" he said. Asher stood up and fixed himself as he nodded.

The three entered a medium sized cafe shop with a great and relaxing ambiance, Asher roamed his eyes around the area, there were different kinds of coffees and sweets in a poster. Cute brown tables design for the cushion chairs. The place was a little bit noisy because of the customers chattering to each other. The place had a luxurious aura, anyone can be drawn to it.

William chose a table for three for them, they sat in the corner part of the cafe which had less noise. Asher can sense that William will choose the best spot so that he'll be comfortable. The male sat beside him quietly while looking at the menu. "What do you want to order?" he asked Asher

Because Asher didn't know what to answer, he just stared at the menu for so long until William spoke and recommended something to him. He just nodded back in agreement, while the other male was the one who made the order for them.

Asher leaned his temple on the glass wall, looking outside with a deep gaze. He wanted to ask Liam some things like friends do, but he was too shy to open up. He didn't know where to start since the only things he knew was about mafia stuff.

"Asher, Do you know that I'm working here?" William broke the silence "You know, I need to sustain my School and my everyday needs but don't worry,Manager Daniel was very kind and considerate" he stated

Asher heard it again, the name 'DANIEL'. He didn't know but whenever that name popped inside his ears, he was having the feeling of being left out.

"Can I call you 'Liam' too?" he unconsciously mumbled

William paused for a while, then he nodded his head "Of course! We're friends after all!" he replied

The word 'FRIEND' rang into Asher's head, thinking that he finally set a step closer to the male. But why was he so eager to make William as his friend? Is he expecting more than that word? Did he want something to gain? He shakes his head to clear his thoughts.

The atmosphere between them lightened up when Daniel tapped the table and slowly put their orders in front of them. "It's on the house" Daniel said

"Thank you, manager!" William gladly took his cup of coffee while Asher quietly nodded to give thanks. He was hesitant at first because he liked to treat William all the way but because William told him to go with the flow, he stopped himself.

"Asher, you seemed to be the quiet type" Daniel commented after taking his seat in front of them.

Asher glanced at him "Y-Yes" he replied

William nagged Asher's shoulders secretly and whispered "Don't worry, he's kind" then he glanced at Daniel "Manager, he was a transferee in our School that's why I'm taking good care of him" he said

Daniel gave him a light chuckle "You are such a good student, Liam" he took a sip "How many times do I have to tell you that you don't need to call me manager all the time, it's your rest day and we are talking as a regular acquaintance" he stated

William jolted in embarrassment "But manager, you are still my manager and you're older than me" he replied

Asher glanced at Daniel and scanned him, the male had a good muscular body enough to show that he was hitting the gym every weekend, he had a black calm eyes and light brown hair. A perfect ivory tan skin and perfect height. Even if he was older than them, he looks like a graduating student because of his handsome face.

William stood up "I need to go to the bathroom" he said "Excuse me first" then he left the two.

The two ended up accompanying each other while William was away. The silence in the atmosphere became tight so Daniel spoke up "What are your hobbies,Asher?" he asked

Asher looked at him "N-Nothing, just helping the family business" he replied shortly as he turned back his eyes on the glass wall.

"I see…" Daniel grouped his fingers and put it below his chin "How did you meet, Liam? He said that you are a transfer student. Would you mind telling me what happened in your previous school before you transferred?" he asked with a plain look

Asher seemed a little bit irritated, he had no patience when it came to people who kept on asking him, answering them and telling something about him wasn't his nature. "L-Long s-story" he uttered

Daniel was stunned from his answer like he wasn't satisfied "I see" he said "I was just checking because I don't want Liam to be in a trouble, he was a smart and diligent kid" he looked straight at Asher "If you are going to do no good at him then better leave his side, don't play his feelings" his voice were cold and emphasizing

"What are you talking about? You seem very serious"

William who just got back from the bathroom broke the heavy atmosphere between them as he took his seat back next to Asher.

Daniel smiled at him "Nothing,I just want to share my cafe stories to him" he chuckled which made Asher clench his fist under the table.

"I already knew about that, manager" William chuckled with the male

Daniel turned his gaze outside, the dandelion sky penetrated through the glass wall "It's getting dark, What will you do after this?" he asked

A stupid grin streches William's cheeks, he nagged Asher's arm and said "We're going to drink at Asher's house, right?" he looked at the male beside him who was literally shocked.

Asher was surprised but when he saw Daniel's reaction, his lips quickly drew a smirk "Yes..." he agreed.
