Transmigrated Into The Book

William shrugged his shoulders down and rolled inside his blanket once more. "Fine! I will just ask him in the School" he mumbled. Just when he was about to close his eyes, he heard three knocks from his door. He quickly sprang up with a puzzled face "Who would that be?" He looked at the time on his phone. It's almost 9 in the evening.

He put on his fluffy slippers and opened the lights at his room then he trudged towards the main door, slowly and tiptoeing. He sighed after unlocking the door thinking that maybe it was his landlord,reminding him to pay for the next month. He twitched the door knob and slowly opened it, the light from outside made him wince so he rubbed his eyes.

A shadow showed up in front of him and because it was taller than him,William looked up. 

"Asher?!" He exclaimed, his voice almost startled the man at the entrance. He saw Asher gasp under his heavy breaths so in so much concern, William tapped the male's forehead. "Why are you out this late at night? Do you still have a fever?" he asked while checking the male's temperature.

William was a little bit startled when Asher pulled away his hands from his forehead. He unconsciously checked the male without his permission but when he was about to withdraw his hands, Asher pulled him inside and slammed the door closed.

"Ngh!"

William groaned when his back hit the back of the door, Asher cornered him side to side. "A-Asher...What are yo---hmmpphh!!!!!" He grasped the male's shoulders when their lips touched. Asher clenched the male's jaw and entered his tongue which made William out of breath. This time, he tasted the alcohol and realized that the male must be drunk.

'DING! LOVE METER: 50%'

"Crap! I can't push him, he's way too strong" William thought.

There's no way he can defeat a dominant omega just by his strength. He tried to push the male real hard and bit his lips, Asher let go, wiping the blood from his mouth.

"Asher calm down!!!"

Asher froze, he saw William in front of him. Although he was still a little bit dizzy, he can clearly remember what happened and what he did. William's voice was enough to snap him back. "Liam" he uttered, then without a second he dashed again to the male.

Asher hugged the other male very tight which made William startled, but found himself rubbing the male's back. "Are you drunk? Why?" William asked.

Asher rested his head on William's shoulder "I-I'm scared," he mumbled "I'm sorry" he buried his lips on the other male's neck to muffle the sound he didn't want to let out. "Don't leave me…"

William didn't understand what's going on with Asher, but he can tell that the male was in sadness. And if Asher wanted to cry, he could cry in front of him without judgment. He embraced the omega and brushed his hair. "It's okay,I'm here" he uttered

William adjusted the blanket onto Asher's chest after changing the towel from his forehead. Asher passed out from his fever, but luckily William managed to support him towards his room and lay him on the bed safely. He can tell that Asher drank a lot just from his breath and he didn't even know if the male would remember what happened tomorrow.

"You're quite the troublesome guy" William mumbled as he chuckled after watching Asher squinting his eyes while sleeping.

He still had the couch so it's okay for him to let the male stay for the night. For sure, Asher will understand the situation. William wasn't very confident when it came to his apartment, it was small and only good for two people. Compared to Asher's house, it's probably big, wide and elegant. If only he had a car, he might have already driven Asher back to his condominium but according to the male's situation right now, it seems like he didn't want to go back home.

The night passed and the morning came…

William blinked his eyes before getting up, that's when he realized that he was back to his bed. He jolted in surprise, he clearly recalled that he slept on the couch because Asher was on the bed. Upon remembering the omega's name, William looked beside him. No one was there and he was alone.

"Asher?" William called out after getting up from his bed, he saw the basin of warm water and the towel he used last night to Asher. Everything wasn't a dream, Asher went there drunk and kissed him. William can clearly remember everything.

He shook his head to remove the negative thoughts and headed to his living room, to the kitchen and to the bathroom but no one was there.

"Where did he go?" he asked himself

He was in the middle of confusion when his phone rang, he answered it. "Liam? Are you going to School?" It was Nathan, William jolted in surprise when he realized that he still had classes so he hurried up and prepared himself.

He reached the School just before the time, and as usual he proceeded to the Student Council's office for his daily attendance.

He sighed before twitching the doorknob, imagining Nathan with his cunning smile to use it as a bait of ordering him around again. Come to think of it, he and Asher were classmates and seatmates so it's not a problem for him to ask the omega.

William felt a little bit at ease so he pushed the door confidently. Just when he was about to step inside the Student Council's Office, a familiar face froze him. 

The male who left him alone this morning met his eyes. William smiled. "Hey Ash--" he paused when Asher walked forward and ignored him. He was left there in astonishment. 

"Yow Liam!" Nathan greeted him instead "Good morning!" Nathan gave him a light smack on the back "He's your friend,right?" he asked

Although confused, William nodded "What is he doing here?" he asked

"Oh!" Nathan straightened his posture and cleared his throat "He asked permission to transfer to another class"
