Chapter 197 - World 8.9

"Yes, hello Nohae? Yes, I'm very sorry I can't go today...I have an errand to be done, let's buy my eyeglasses next time, yes, I'm very sorry...Thank you"

Jaewon hang up the call and shrugged his shoulders in dismay, he remembered the professor who almost chase him yesterday,

"Yeon-ho didn't go to class today and he still had a lot of subjects to be reviewed, can you please go to his house this saturday to give this to him? You are the only one I can rely on, Jaewon...His address was written in the back, thank you so much" The professor pleaded while handing him the hand outs.

And then, here he goes right now. The plan with Nohae was cancelled because Yeon-ho's house is far from his apartment. He had no choice but to deliver it to the male. Yeon-ho seems to be a troublesome student but he was always attending the remedial class so maybe the male had an interest in studying after all.

Jaewon exited his apartment and locked the door, putting the keys on his sling bag. He was wearing a simple yellow shirt with above knee shorts paired with white sneakers. Of course he had his black bucket hat to hide his face from the sun.

He sat on the bus stop for a minute before he totally got a ride, buses during Saturdays are quite full because it was a day where everyone can do whatever they want or go whenever they want, somehow it made Jaewon a little bit jealous.

He will never enjoy a day with Yeon-ho.

Jaewon took the seat at the far corner of the bus where there are few passengers, he leaned his head on the glass window and stared into the buildings. Suddenly, his chest started to feel heavy and uneasy, he didn't know why though, but when Yeon-ho crossed his mind he turned out like that.

Deep inside his heart, he was worrying about the male. Yeon-ho didn't show up after the day he received the umbrella.

The bell rang, it was the second bus stop. Jaewon stood up and got off, he asked some people to trace the male's exact address and he found out that Yeon-ho was also living in an apartment but unlike him, it was smaller; maybe good for two people.

He sighed when he was at the front door, "Damn! Why am I even nervous?!" He scolded himself. Jaewon clenched his chest, "I can do this! " he blurted out

He pressed the doorbell once, no one answered, he pressed it again, no one answered. It made him a little bit annoyed because he was standing there for half an hour waiting for someone to open the door for him. It was his rest day and yet he still chooses to go here just to give these handouts.

"Is he home? I'm like an idiot here waiting for nothing," he mumbled.

When he was about to make his third knock, he heard a sound coming from inside. It made him flinch between nervousness and annoyance.

The door slowly opened but only a little space. It revealed Yeon-ho's half face. "What are you doing here?" His voice was a little bit hoarse.

Jaewon wasn't expecting the male's reaction to be like this because usually Yeon-ho would snarl at him and yell but this time, the male was a little bit calm and meek.

Jaewon cleared his throat "I'm here to give this to you." he said, handing out the papers to the male

Yeon-ho remained silent then he grabbed the papers from Jaewon, "Thanks," he said, closing the door.

"H-Hey!!" Jaewon got all his strength to push the door back so that Yeon-ho wouldn't close it,"Wait a goddamn minute! That's all you have to say?" he exclaimed

Yeon-ho made a puzzled face "What the heck are you trying to say?!" he replied back with his grumpy expression.

Jaewon tried to use another force to slightly push the door, "Is that all you're going to say?! Seriously?!" he blurted out "I came all the way here to give you that and you can't even give me a glass of cold water?!! Are you that heartle---"

Before he could finish his sentence, Yeon-ho opened the door widely which made all of his force go straight to his arms, he lost his balance and landed on Yeon-ho's chest.

The male pushed him away "What the heck are you doing?!" Yeon-ho trudged inside and let Jaewon sit on the couch, he had a mini living room.

"Hey! Look! Drink your water and then go, I don't intend on letting you stay here," Yeon-ho said before going to the kitchen.

It made Jaewon more annoyed, "Seriously! He is so unpredictable! I wanted to just throw him somewhere,!" he complained in his thoughts.

He had decided to roam his eyes around. Yeon-ho's apartment was plain, painted in light peach. Glass windows and thin curtains on the west side. He had a small hallway going maybe to the kitchen and bedroom.

Jaewon was stunned when he heard a loud sound coming from the kitchen, he didn't know but before he could realize, his legs dashed towards where Yeon-ho was.

"Yeon-ho!!?"

He wasn't mistaken, he saw the male crouching on the floor with a broken glass in front of him. Jaewon dashed to the male and saw his bleeding palm.

"Hey, Stand up, We need to wash your wound!" he blurted out

But instead of following him, Yeon-ho hid his palm and use his other hand to push the male away, "I c-can d-do it a-alone," he mumbled

Jaewon can let him but he couldn't ignore the way Yeon-ho talks, it feels like there was something off from him. His voice was hoarse like he had a dry throat and he was sweating.

"Yeon-ho please don't be so stubborn!" He uses all of his force to support the male from standing up, towards the sink.

"What is happening to him? Is he feeling like this because there is so much blood? Is he anemic? What should I do?"

Jaewon gasped after touching the male's bare skin under his sleeves, he didn't hesitate to tap the male's forehead and he was surprised after finding out his situation.

"Yeon-ho! You have a very high fever!! You are burning hot!"
