Transmigrated Into The Book

1 week passed and Yuxian was finally home. He was inside his room, reading some maternal and kid's books. The doctor told him to read these kinds of things so that the baby will feel that he was given attention.

Yuxian sighed, "I want some water" he muttered. 

It was already past 7 PM in the evening, and he strided the empty and quiet hallway of their mansion. When the system said that Rui Jun was rich, he was indeed!. 

The mansion was big and wide, branded furniture and portraits of them hanging on the wall. The chandeliers were all crystal clear and extravagant, the stairs had a red carpet and the rooms were big. 

"I don't want to get lost in my own house" Yuxian whispered while taking the stairs down. His stomach wasn't that big already so he can still move and do things on his own.

As he reached the end of the stairs, his fingers crawled on the wall, finding the light switch. The lights at night were dim and he didn't like to trip because he was doing all the precautions for the baby inside his stomach.

His surroundings slowly lit up and the wide living room beside the stairs welcomed his eyes. There was a big television pinned on the wall, in front of it was a two long sofa across the glass table with a vase in the middle. Above and in the middle of the living room was the flower-like chandelier, delivering a sparkling effect in the atmosphere.

Yuxian took a left turn, he wasn't sure if it was the bathroom or the kitchen. He just made a quick tour yesterday behind Ling Ling's back and Rui Jun, he doesn't want them to feel suspicious. 

"Kitchen, please let it be the kitchen" he was wishing while walking on the white and pinkish tiled-floor. 

He was delighted when he saw the familiar door, he recognized it was the area he was looking for. 

Yuxian opened the two doors widely, his eyes beamed after seeing the kitchen. "Yes! I was right!" He exclaimed in a low voice. 

He quickly walked towards the double door refrigerator. When his eyes met what's inside, he paused. "I'd never seen a refrigerator like this, full of food," he said, picking up the pitcher.

He went to the long kitchen counter after and poured a glass of water. He gulped it in one go, pouring another glass.

"Eekk!!!" 

The glass fell on the floor, causing it to shatter into pieces. 

The figure who was behind Yuxian quickly pulled him gently towards his chest. "Honey I'm very sorry" It was Rui Jun, he just got home from work. He noticed the open lights towards the kitchen and decided to surprise his omega. 

He was just literally going to embrace Yuxian from behind but it caused a shock to the male. 

Rui Jun brushed Yuxian's head "I'm very sorry honey," he pleaded "I just want to surprise you" he lifted up the male's chin and kissed him on the forehead.

Yuxian was fine, he knew he was fine but his hands were trembling and his chest was nervous. He took deep breaths to calm himself, maybe because he was pregnant that's why his emotions are different than normal.

Meanwhile, Rui Jun crouched down and leaned his head on Yuxian's stomach. "Baby? Can you hear daddy?" He pressed his ears ``I'm very sorry if I startled you and your mommy, forgive daddy, please?'' He pleaded with his very mellow voice.

Yuxian couldn't help but blushed his cheeks out. Witnessing such a heartwarming and sweet scene is melting him so hard. 

He smiled and ruffled Rui Jun's hair, "It's okay, I know the...our baby will forgive you" he said, trying to comfort the alpha because he feels like he might cry.

Rui Jun stood up and faced him, he held Yuxian's hand and guided him towards the chair at the corner of the kitchen counter away from the shattered glass. "Sit here, let me clean the mess, it's my fault after all" He said before removing his gaze from the omega.

Yuxian didn't stop him, he felt like Rui Jun would feel guilty if he cleaned it. He just watched the alpha do the deeds and finished everything.

After cleaning the mess and making sure that there are no more glass pieces on the floor, Rui Jun went back to his wife. "Have you eaten? Do you need something?" He asked.

Yuxian smiled at him "I'm good, How about you? Have you eaten?" He asked the question back. 

Rui Jun who was leaning in front of him, nodded his head. "Yes, I already ate at the office" he replied, fixating his eyes on the omega.

Yuxian felt that his gazes were almost piercing him and he could feel his face turning hot and red so he averted his gaze. "Stop staring at me like that!" He snorted

"I don't wanna…" 

Yuxian crossed his arms "Why so stubborn?" He snorted again, but this time he was a little bit shy.

Again, Rui Jun leaned closer to him and kissed his forehead down to his nose. "Because you are very beautiful, my eyes couldn't even take itself from you" He grinned.

In Rui Jun's surprise, a slap landed on his cheeks which made his head sway sideways. 

Yuxian realized what he just did without thinking, and he sprang up. "I-I d-d-didn't m-mean t-t-t to do that….." He paused after feeling the cold tears running down from his eyes. He wiped it and mumbled. "Why am I crying?"

Rui Jun immediately hugged the omega "Oh my!" He exclaimed, brushing Yuxian's back. "Honey please don't cry, it's my fault, okay?" He made a small distance between their faces and wiped the tears under the omega's eyes "Shhh...please don't cry" He said

He wanted to calm the male because he knew that pregnancy is very hard to handle. He wanted to give all of his comfort to his omega just to make sure that stress wouldn't linger on him.
