Transmigrated Into The Book

A taxi stopped in front of the company, spatting Yuxian out. He paid for his ride and went inside the tall building. The first thing he saw was the receptionist's desk. A lady wearing a formal suit smiled at him. 

Yuxian didn't want to stand out, so he just wore simple casual attire with a black coat. He rolled down his sunglasses and gazed at the lady. "I'm looking for Zhang Rui Jun," he said, not even averting his eyes.

The receptionist glanced at him from head to toe. She made a fake one. "Do you have an appointment?" she asked directly. 

Yuxian furrowed his brows, "Excuse me," he also scanned the lady too from head to toe. "I am his wife," he said, emphasizing every word. 

The lady paused, then she scanned the folders on her desk. "Can I have your name, Mister?" She lowered her head and looked at Yuxian once more. "I will check it for you"

It made the omega agitated, so he glared at the lady. "Why do I need to set an appointment? I want to see my husband." he crossed his arms. "You can call him to check."

"I'm sorry, Mister... I can't do that," she made a sad expression.

"Fine!" Yuxian made a 'hump' sound then he walked towards the visitor lounge. He sat down with his lips pursing out. He ignored the lady and took out his phone. "I will show you who the real boss is," he snorted, dialing his husband's number.

Rui Jun answered his phone. It made him smile after seeing his wife's name on the screen. He misses him so much, but the time between them is limited. Yuxian is always pushing him away and he couldn't do a single thing about it because Jiangye said that being emotional is a part of pregnancy. 

He happily answered the call. If the omega asked him to go home right now, he would dash right away. But the moment he pressed his phone on his ears, shivers quickly drained his soul out when he heard a bitter voice. "I am at the lobby lounge right now. If you don't get down here, I will kill you"

His body sprang up from the swivel chair he was onto. He dashed towards the door. His secretary, who was just going to enter the office, was startled when they bumped into each other. "M-Manager?!" she exclaimed.

Rui Jun glanced at him. "I'm going home. Please re-schedule my meetings," he ordered, not even looking back. 

"Manager!! Please don't run in the corridors!" her secretary brushed her face in dismay.

Rui Jun squeezed himself inside the elevator. He kept on looking at his wristwatch like he was counting the time.

The elevator opens, spatting out the company CEO. Everyone's attention turned to him, murmuring to each other about the CEO's sudden appearance. Everyone twisted their heads to where the alpha was going. It also surprised even the desk receptionist when she saw his manager.

Rui Jun hurriedly dashed to the lobby and saw a beautiful omega sitting there, leaning on the wall. He knelt down in front of his wife and lifted his hand. "Did you wait for too long?" he asked, gentle and polite.

Yuxian blinked his eyes and crossed his arms. "I've been waiting here for…" he paused and looked at the time in his phone. "For almost half a minute!" he snorted. For him, it doesn't matter if it's a second or minute or hour. 

Rui Jun didn't stand. He remained kneeling. "I'm so sorry," he said, lowering his head. 

The omega pursed his lips out, "Take me home, I don't want to walk anymore!" he rolled his eyes. "I don't like your secretary, she's annoying!" Yuxian snorted. 

The alpha made pleading eyes to his wife. "Do you want me to change her? I can do that for you, honey," he said.

"Nevermind!"

Rui Jun stood up. He leaned closer to Yuxian and lifted his butt. He carried him like a baby, letting his head lean on his shoulders. "Please forgive my negligence, Honey" he whispered to his omega's ears.

Yuxian grinned as they trudged outside into the lobby. The people in the company saw them and couldn't help but scream and take photos. The omega glanced at the receptionist desk and saw the woman earlier trembling in fear. He couldn't help but smirked after seeing her expression.

"I will punish you" Yuxian buried his head on his alpha's neck and rested there. He suddenly felt very sleepy upon smelling his pheromones. 

Rui Jun brushed the male's back. "I will accept any punishment, my queen," he said back. 

Their driver was already in front of the company. He opened the door for them two. When they were inside the car, Rui Jun let the omega lay on his lap. He took off his coat and used it as a blanket. 

Yuxian raised his head and looked at his husband. "I want to go home with you," he mumbled before closing his eyes.

Rui Jun brushed the male's hair and smiled. "Do you want anything else? Do you feel hurt?" he asked in a worried tone.

The alpha shook his head and squinted his eyelids. "My stomach is a bit grumpy. I want a massage," he replied.

"I will massage you when we reach home, just take a rest and lay down"

Hearing those words from the alpha, Yuxian wasn't convinced. He should be assured by now, but why does he still have this uncomfortable feeling. He didn't want to be mad because it was bad for the baby.

The side of his eyes slowly became sore and blurry. Before he could notice, he was already sniffing quietly. Yuxian used his arms to block his eyes, hiding it from the alpha. But Rui Jun was quick to notice him.

"Honey, What's wrong? Did I do something bad?" 

Yuxian ignored him and twirled around, leaving his side profile exposed. He sniffed and wiped his eyes.. "I hate you," he mumbled.
