Transmigrated Into The Book

A cold substance made him jolt and gasped. It was water. Xianyu slowly blinked his eyes and the first thing he saw was a brick red floor. There are also shadows penetrating some human figures in front of him. It means that the place was dim and closed. 

When he was about to move his arms, he was stunned. Xianyu realized that he was chained behind his back. He was kneeling on the floor with his head lowered. He spun his eyes sideways and saw the place familiar to him, an underground dungeon. It made him smile when Yuan suddenly popped into his mind. Is this also the same dungeon at that time? Who knows, Xianyu's mind was still spinning that he couldn't think of what's happening anymore. 

"So I guess you are awake now," a cold and stern voice bangs his ears. 

Xianyu saw a pair of leather shoes step in front of him. "Lift your head," the voice ordered.

He slowly lifted up his head, but when he was about to meet the owner of the voice, a slap landed on his left cheek. The force almost made him hear the buzzing sounds in his ears. "Who told you that you can look me in the eye? Such impertinence," the voice once again spoke.

Xianyu gritted his jaw in silence. He wanted to act nice, but the way this being was talking to him was delivering a distinct feeling to his nerves. He clenched his fist and was ready to give him a blow when he felt something was wrong. Xianyu tried again, but there was no energy from his hands. 

A light chuckle echoed inside the area. "Are you trying to use your energy? Why? Are you going to blow this place with me?" He couldn't see his face, but he could tell that the man in front of him was smirking. 

This time, someone lifted his head. "Just so you know, the chains attached to you have its own ability to stop you from using your spiritual energy." he clenched Xianyu's jaw and grinned. "What a mess," he stated.

Xianyu winced. He was trying to identify the man, but he couldn't see it clearly because the place was dim and the fire from the torch was swaying away from his direction. "W-Wh…" Xianyu widened his eyes when he felt that his voice was hoarse, like his throat dried up. "What happened to me?" he mumbled inside his thoughts.

He remembered what happened before he woke up here. Qi Zhou and he are outside the Inn before someone grabs him and throws him on the wall. Before that, Qi Zhou mentioned that they have a visitor who wanted to see him.

"Could it be?" Xianyu's head automatically rise up, but before he could look up, a forceful palm pinned him down. He winced in pain once more, then he saw familiar boots around him. 

"Royal boots?! Am I inside the Palace now?!" he exclaimed to himself. If he was in a royal palace right now, it means that this eye patch man wasn't an ordinary opponent. He was holding the royal guards too, by letting them follow him. "Just who is this man?" he asked himself.

"Cover his eyes, let him feel the thrill" 

He tried at least to defend himself, but the two people pinning him down were stronger compared to his force right now. They succeeded in making his eyes black out. The iron door creaked as it was opened by the man a while ago. "Leave him for a while," he ordered as he trudged outside, "Don't remove his chains and followed me," 

Xianyu then felt his body become light as he heard their footsteps away from him.

"Where's Xianyu?"

Sun Wei asked the moment Qi Zhou stepped from the door. The other male paused. He scanned his traces behind and found no one. "I thought he was following me," Qi Zhou replied. 

Sun Wei scratched the back of his head. "Are you crazy? Master Rouhan told us to take care of him well," he clicked his tongue in disappointment. He slightly pushed the male standing at the entrance and walked, but a small grasp stopped him. "Where are you going?" Qi Zhou asked.

Sun Wei looked at his wrist that was held by Qi Zhou. His brows meet between his nose. "What do you think I'm doing? Of course I will go and check Xianyu, you better rest here…" he said. 

Qi Zhou let him go, but when he was about to walk inside, a loud sound coming from the bedroom dominated the area. The two rushed back and were surprised by what they saw.

"What happened?!!" Sun Wei exclaimed upon seeing Yuan gripping his right arms.

"He escaped!!!" Yuan replied back as he stood up from the floor. He was beside the window. "He jumped from the window and grabbed someone down there. Who was it?!" He asked, squinting his eyes.

Qi Zhou almost bawled his eyes out when he remembered that someone left outside the Inn. "Xianyu!!!!" he yelled as he quickly dashed and jumped from the window. 

Yuan was also stunned after hearing that familiar name. His blood boiled from his head down to his toe. The pain from his arms quickly vanished as his eyes filled with anger. "Where's Xianyu?" he asked.

The other male's expression also startled Sun Wei. He was emitting a different aura that made him feel some shivers. "Yuan?"

Yuan snapped, then his head immediately turned down the window. "Did you find him?!!" He made his voice loud enough for the man, but Qi Zhou just shook his head. 

Yuan clicked his tongue, "I knew it!!!" he exclaimed. 

Sun Wei then got that he was holding some evidence and between them, he was the only one who knew nothing. He grasped Yuan's shoulders. "What do you mean?!" he blurted out.

Yuan gritted his teeth and faced Sun Wei. "He was the eye patch, man! He was the owner of the red pill!" he exclaimed.
