Transmigrated Into The Book

"You okay now?"

Xianyu closed his eyes and leaned on the trunk of the tree. He felt the cold breeze of the chilly night under the shining moon. 

The man sitting beside him nodded his head. "I'm fine," Yuan replied, still with his swollen eyes. He felt like his chest turned light and free. After confessing to Xianyu the way he felt, he finally felt at peace. 

Meanwhile, the bushes around them rustled like there was someone hiding in there. The two became alert. Scared who it might be, Xianyu opened his palm and struck the bushes with a glowing light. 

A figure was exposed to them. But they were both surprised when they found out who it was. 

"Hawk?!!" Both exclaimed in unison. 

The man wearing a dark blue robe shakes off the dust and leaves from his clothing. "I apologize if I disturb your moment but---"

Before Hawk can continue, the two butt in and exclaim. "We are not doing anything!"

It made Hawk brush his own face, "I'm not accusing you of lying so no need to be that obvious, I came here to fetch you all.." he said.

"Fetch? Why?" Xianyu asked.

Hawk explained to them that the emperor was sending some spy all over the mountains so they needed to be transferred to somewhere else. The forbidden city, one which the emperor couldn't reach. 

Yi Lin ordered Hawk to burn the place they are staying and haunt three deers and ripped off their hearts. The deer's hearts will serve as their substitute. Since Yi Lin's plan was to follow his father's orders to kill them to avoid suspicions. 

The night was deep and the three of them headed back to their small house. There, they saw Rouhan reading a book while, as usual, Sun Wei and Qi Zhou were bickering with each other.

Hawk explained everything to them as they all prepared some things before going out. There was a sea at the edge of the mountain, a few more walks. Hawk prepared a boat enough for them, it will serve as their courier.

The forbidden city was a far away place from the Bai Kingdom. For sure, Huanxue's men and power will never reach it.

"I can't guide you anymore, since my master needed me to burn down the house real quick," Hawk leaned his palm on the tree. He was leading the way to the edge of the mountain. He spun around and faced them "After turning right, you will see a sea..at the edge of it there was a boat for all of you, rest assured, the boatman was my uncle...he will bring you all to the forbidden city," after a blink of an eye, Hawk vanished into thin air.

"Fine! Let's all go since Hawk couldn't guide us anymore," Sun Wei took the lead until they saw someone paddling a boat in the wide sea. Then after a few minutes, they saw a thick smoke above the forest. It must be Hawk's doing, cleaning their traces.

A middle aged man greeted them and let them ride the boat. When everyone had taken their seats, he started the motor and the boat went off. 

In the middle of their journey, Xianyu was very quiet. HIs face facing the water while reflecting the starry sky above them.

"Are you okay?" 

Yuan approached him and brushed his hair. To his surprise, Xianyu pushed him away, "Don't come near me!" he exclaimed. 

He pushed Yuan away not because he was angry, it was because he was feeling dizzy and anytime from now he will puke. Of course, Xianyu didn't want to embarrass himself and dirtied Yuan.

Though Rouhan noticed his sunken eyes and whote face immediately, "Are you feeling dizzy?" he asked which made Xianyu glanced at him and nodded.

Yuan quickly pulled Xianyu onto his chest, "If you are not feeling well, you can lean and sleep on me for a while, I will wake you up when we're already there," he whispered.

Xianyu didn't hesitate anymore, he clung on the male's arms and rested his head on his chest. He closed his eyes to relax his  mind and in an instant he fell asleep.

While Xianyu was sleeping, he dreamed of something.

He dreamed that he was in their old house, not as Xianyu. He was there as Chen Yang. In the living room, he saw his mother hugging the picture of his father while crying.

His mother was murmuring something while wiping her eyes. "Please come back, I don't want our son to leave me too, please tell me what to do," she cried. 

Yang felt something pricking his chest and the heaviness was thumping him so hard. He approached his mother and was about to hug her, but she vanished.

Everything turned pitch black, in the very front of his eyes, there was an open door. Yang dashed forward but his steps didn't count, the door was getting further, away from him until it closed.

Again, the darkness crawled all over him. Yang slid on his knees, wanting to escape his nightmares, he yelled. "The f*ck do you want from me?!! Let me go! I want to go back!"

A chuckle resounded, echoing towards him.In the darkness surrounding him, eyes glowed. Not only eyes but also grinning lips laughing at him. 

"I pity you Chen Yang, do you really want to go back on your own?" The voice was deep, he knew who it was.

"I know it's you!" Chen Yang yelled. "Stop doing this to me and just let me go back!" 

The voice laughed, "Do you really wish to go back on your own? Chen Yang, what if I told you that you want to go back in your world with that bastard?"

Hearing the word 'bastard', Yang quickly realized that it was Yuan he was talking about. It's true that they are still finding a way to go back both in the future. But he wasn't expecting to be exposed like this.

"Past lives in the past, I can't be brought to the future itself or it will cause disaster," 

The place lit up, then a black shadow emerged in front of Yang. It stretches out a hand, "Come,come with me and I will help you," 

This time, Yang felt something from the mysterious man's voice. It was calm and sincere. He hesitated to grab that hand so he stepped back, "No! Not with you!" He exclaimed. 

The mysterious man pushed Yang and grasped his neck, "You really need to be strangled to listen to your goddamn father, Is this how your mom raised you?"

Struggling, Yang was taken aback. His lips only uttered one word, "Father?"
