Transmigrated Into The Book

Yang sprang up from his seat and grabbed Ren Jiang. "Manager, you can stay!" he blurted out.

Guang Jin quickly reacted. He slammed his hands on the table and exclaimed. "WHAT?!" with his jaw dropping. He darted Yang with his glances like he was asking for an explanation of why he wanted the other male to stay with them.

Yang did it intentionally. Guang Jin was smirking and teasing him since earlier, so it was a relief that he had a counterattack. He will pissed the male off with Ren Jiang. The CEO was the one who insisted on bringing him here anyway. 

Ren Jiang smiled at him, "Do you want me to join you two?" his eyes also sparkle, doing the favor from his favorite employee. 

Yang nodded his head, "You can join us, Manager," he turned to Guang Jin and flashed a fake smile. "Right, Mr. Li?" he asked. 

If Guang Jin was closer to him, he would probably cut their closeness. 'You are clinging to him with my coat wrapped on you, traitor!' he cursed inside his mind. Of course he's not only arrogant, he's also competent. He didn't want anyone to disturb them. That's why he chose a solo table only for two. 

He crossed his arms. "Why would I give him permission to join us? I don't like him being around, besides…" he looked at Ren Jiang. "It seems like Mr. Lou had already eaten his dinner and just coincidentally passed by here," he said, emphasizing every word like there was something in it.

Ren Jiang chuckled, "Who told you that I'm going to eat with you? I can still eat more, if that's what Yang wanted," he replied. 

Hearing Ren Jiang calling Yang by just his name was enough to let Guang Jin's blood boil in envy. How can he call Yang so casually in front of him like they are very close?  It struck his pride. He was the CEO and yet he was still awkward around his employee. 

A smirk stretches Guang Jin's lips. He glanced at Yang. "Mr. Chen and I have some business we need to talk about privately," he raised his one brow, "Unless, Mr. Chen wanted Mr. Lou to also hear about it, I won't really mind." he said sarcastically.

Yang gritted his teeth. He knew that Guang Jin would not accept defeat. He knew that the CEO was talking about his sudden introduction as a fake lover in front of the model Xu Shein. He will surely blabbed it out to Ren Jiang since he had no shame of admitting he was gay.

"Mr. Chen, if it's okay with you, we can talk about it with Mr. Lou around us," Guang Jin repeated his words. He wanted to giggle right now because he could see the uneasiness from Yang's expression. If he can't drive Ren Jiang alone, then he will threaten Yang to push the male away.

Of course, Yang had seen through the CEO. He knew that he was competent and cunning. He will surely get embarrassed if Guang Jin mentions to Ren Jiang that they were acting as fake lovers. 'I still have cards on my sleeves, you moron' with this, Yang grinned back at the CEO. He looked at Ren Jiang with very pitiful eyes. "Manager, can you drive me home?" he was like a lost puppy. 

Surprised, Ren Jiang took the bait. "Are you bored with the CEO? But I guess you haven't eaten anything.." he gave Yang a pat on the head. "We can choose another table instead," he suggested. 

Hearing this, Guang Jin finally lost his composure. If Yang goes with Ren Jiang he will be left alone and all of his effort will go to waste. "FINE!" He blurted out. "Sit with us," he sternly said. 

'I win,' Yang celebrated in his thoughts.

The waiter came right in time with the food in his arms. Ren Jiang asked for another chair and then he sat at Yang's left side while Guang Jin and Yang were facing each other. 

"Thank you for inviting me here," 

Guang Jin clicked his tongue, "I didn't invite you in the first place, it's Mr. Chen's wishes," he snorted, delivering sushi straight to his mouth.Munching it like he wanted to bite someone.

"You two really get along," Yang glanced at the two men alternately. "Mr. Li must be fond of the Manager so much," then he smiled, a cunning one which made the CEO more irritated.

Ren Jiang took one piece of shrimp, "Jin and I are childhood friends, we're classmates in the middle school," after peeling the shrimp, he put it on Yang's plate. "Here, I can peel them for you, just tell me if you want more," he smiled.

Yang's eyes elated, "Thank you, manager is so kind," He took the peeled shrimp and munched it happily. He was secretly glancing at Guang Jin who was now snarling silently. 'Serves you right, don't underestimate me' he thought. 

Yang continued to eat the shrimps peeled by his manager. As he blinked his eyes, he saw a half opened crab on his plate, it was well bone and shredded. "Eat it," Guang Jin ordered. His expression is still grumpy.

Seeing this, both Yang and Ren Jiang looked at each other then to the crab. "Is this for me?" Yang asked. "Did Mr. Li unbone the crab for me?" he asked, trying to act nice.

Guang Jin clicked his tongue, "What do you think of me? I can also peel the shrimps if you want," he snorted. He directly took another piece of takoyaki and munched it rapidly.

'Heh~' Ren Jiang grinned. He clasped his palm and put it under his chin. "You two are very close," he commented.

The two glanced at each other and then blurted out different answers.

"Of course we are!" Guang Jin

"No, we're not!" Yang

Ren Jiang flashed another smile. He grinned widely and observed the two's facial expressions. "Are you two, perhaps….dating?" he asked.

Yang almost choked on his own saliva.
