Chapter 369 - World 11.26

A roaring thunder struck the sky. The darkened sky sparks after letting the flickering lighting pass. After that quick phenomenon, raindrops started to fall. Pitterring at the glass window, making a tic tac sound.

The two men on the sofa gazed at the window. They watched the rain become heavier every minute. Guang Jin became disappointed. He stood up from the couch and massaged his temples. "I already reserved a nice place for us," he mumbled.

Yang was left dumbfounded on the couch, with his thighs still opened. When he realized his position, he also jolted up. His face turned hot as he pulled his bathrobe onto his chest. He remained there, frozen. He observed Guang Jin took out his phone again from his pocket and dialed some numbers.

The CEO talked to someone on the phone for almost half a minute. He was cancelling all of his reservations. He was planning on taking Yang outside. He even reserved a whole park for them. But everything shattered down when the heavy rain poured down. Somehow, there was a happy side of him jumping inside his thoughts. It's an opportunity to be alone with Yang.

Realizing the new idea, he glanced at the male. He saw Yang's expression, red cheeks and red ears. Like a volcano preparing to erupt. Guang Jin chuckled secretly. This cute hamster beside him glared at him. "What's funny?!" Yang snarled.

"Get dressed," Guang Jin said.

Yang pulled his bathrobe closer, using two hands. He snorted and passed by the CEO. He dashed upstairs and locked the door of his room like there was a threat waiting for him downstairs. He gasped and then slid down and clenched his fist up in the air. "What the heck!!" he cursed out.

After a few minutes of sulking in the corner of his room, he stood up. He wiped the sweats from his forehead. With these thoughts full of determination. He clenched his fist up in the air and swore that he will take revenge no matter what. He slammed the door and went downstairs with his heavy steps. There he saw the CEO sitting comfortably on the couch.

His ears almost ozzed in hot smoke after seeing the man with no problems at all. Guang Jin turned his head to the male's direction. He smirked and said, "I already cancelled my reservations, Mr. Chen...I guess I'm going to be stuck here with you... "

Yang ignored him and went straight to the kitchen. He picked up two cups from the counter and then he opened the water heater. Just by picking up the coffee, made him recall their first encounter at the office. When Guang Jin ordered him to make a coffee during the interview. It made his lips twitch. Who would have thought that this arrogant and cold CEO is now messing inside his house?

"Here," the cup of coffee almost clanks on the wooden table. Guang Jin watched the liquid in it swayed with the smoke. "Coffee?" he mumbled. He doesn't bring his favorite coffee and drinking an ordinary one is not his hobby.

Yang pouts and turns around as he murmured. "That's the only thing I can offer you, my mom went out for groceries so we don't have much in our house…" he trudged back to the kitchen. He didn't care if Guang Jin drank the coffee he gave, all he wanted was to push the man away from him.

He looked around the kitchen and his eyes roamed. Scanning his surroundings, he thought of cleaning the empty cabinets. That's it! He will make himself busy and ignore Guang Jin until the rain subsides. 'I will never waste my time talking to you,' He mumbled inside his mind.

He took the folding ladder and stretched it. Then he climbed up and started to clean at the very top of the cabinets. He first wiped it with a damp cloth and then he swept the spider webs at the corner. Since his mom brought a new light bulb yesterday, he has decided to change the one in the kitchen.

Yang was still a little agitated, he hurriedly rolled the bulb clockwise to loosen it's hold from the head. He tiptoed a little since his arms were quite short, and succeeded on removing the old one, but when he was about to exchange it, the ladder trembled.

Right when he was about to get his force back on his legs, he lost his balance. His arms swayed in the air with the ladder pulling him down. He trembled and got scared at the same time.

"GAAAHH!!"

Yang fell, he froze with closed eyes. He was expecting that he would land on the cold tiled floor with his open head, flowing with blood. But after minutes of staying in his position and closing his eyes very tight, he realized that he's not feeling any pain from his body. His heart was still pounding so fast that it almost made him out of breath, he didn't want to get hospitalized again.

"Open your eyes now,"

Yang jolted, his heart again skipped another beat. He moved his hands and felt something hard under his palm and fingers. He slowly opened his eyes, and it quickly widened when he saw Guang Jin's face. He was being carried like a princess while his arms were around the man's neck.

Yang squirmed and it made the CEO let him down, slowly. "What are you doing here?!" he exclaimed. Blushing face and shock expression from the sudden fall and from the man's appearance.

When Yang was about to step back, he was pulled again by Guang Jin. "Be careful! There's broken glasses," he warned. It made the latter realize that he broke the light bulb and was now scattered on the floor.

He was pulled towards Guang Jin's chest. There, he smelled the elegant perfume from the man. Since he was still speechless from the fast pace events that happened just a while ago, Yang couldn't move. He remained startled and frozen.. The panic in his heart deepened, it made him clenched the CEO's upper coat as he mumbled. "Thank you"
