Transmigration of Shams: The Legendary Cultivator

[-In a huge cottage-]

Night before the Preliminary Round …

Master Wushu and his disciples were designated to stay in a huge cottage for the entire representatives of the school on the duration of the tournament.

Gathered around while seated on the wooden floor of the huge and spacious cottage designated for the representatives from the school of Master Wushu.

When everything was revealed to Master Wushu, he remained calm and reasonable.

But his other disciples were furious at Shams.

They could not believe the audacity of Shams to cause trouble and the possibility of bringing shame to the honor of Master Wushu and his school.

Cheating is highly frowned upon by the society and other schools.

It will be a huge scandal once they found out that Shams took the identity of his fellow disciple and faked his identity for the tournament.

Faking or stealing one's identity even from the same school is considered as a form of cheating in the tournament

Definitely, all representatives from Master Wushu's school will be disqualified and the reputation of Master Wushu and his school will be tainted.

'Little Ryoku did what!?!'

'How could you dare risk besmirching the great reputation of our master?!?'

'Troublemaker!'

'What got into your mind?'

'I cannot believe this! Little Ryoku can risk us all into disqualification and humiliation.'

…

Some of the reactions from his other fellow disciples.

"Everyone, enough!" Master Wushu took the attention of his disciples.

There was silence from everyone after Master Wushu requested for silence.

Shams lowered his gaze and did not even made an eye contact with anybody.

When Rankuza told everything to Master Wushu regarding what Shams did, there was only silence from Shams.

Their old master heaved a deep sigh before he started,

"We cannot undo everything now. If things go public then there are consequences. Most likely, it will be immediate disqualification and disbarment from future participation …" Master Wushu was not yet finish in his explanation and everyone were reacting in fear, disbelief and disappointment.

Some were looking at Shams with blame and resentment.

For the first time, Shams felt resented and blamed.

He had taken advantage all the kindness and care for him by his fellow disciples.

Viper uttered to Shams within his mind

Shams replied his mythical beast, 'I also thought I would not feel anything but it looks like it will not be that easy. In other words, it is easier said than done.'

Then Master Wushu continued,

"I know most of you prepared and are excited for this moment. If you ask me, I would prefer revealing to the authorities regarding the actions of Ryoku. But remember, there can be possibility as well that … not only disbarment from future participation and immediate disqualification will be the consequences of Ryoku's actions. There can be worst!"

Each disciple gasped in fear for what could be worse than the disbarment and disqualification.

Stabbing dagger looks were thrown at Sham's direction.

"Master, then what should we do then?" Feilong curiously asked their master for answers.

"Feilong … For this, I will leave the decision on your hands … My dear disciples!"

"What do you mean, Master Wushu?" Hawks asked their master with hint of confusion.

"All of you will contemplate and vote on it … Whether we continue the facade of Ryoku or would you do the right thing by telling the truth and willing to face the consequences of Ranku's actions?"

Master Wushu's disciple started to look at one another and whispered on their desire.

He then ended his reminder by saying, "The vote of the majority will be the decision. And once it is casted, everyone must cooperate with it. No one will betray the other!"

"But the voting will be done while your eyes are closed, to prevent seeing the vote of the other. If someone dares to even take a peek, my judgment ki will burn you."

{-Judgement Ki-}

An ability of Master Wushu to release a massive ki and have access to all senses within the scope range covered by his ki. It can also directly release his other techniques within the scope of the range of his ki.

Each disciple could feel the ki of Master Wushu enveloped the entire cottage, aside from concealing their discussion through their master's impressive defensive techniques … their master can easily summon elemental techniques and far greater senses with his monstrous ki surrounding them.

For a few moments, Master Wushu gave all his disciples the moment to contemplate on their decision.

While everyone was seated on the floor,

"So now, for those who want to do the right thing by telling the authorities … Vote through raising your hand." Master Wushu instructed his disciples.

There were hands raised.

"And now, for those who want to continue the facade of Ryoku … Vote through raising your hand." Master Wushu instructed his disciples again.

This time more hands were raised.

"By the majority vote, we will proceed as it is. Everyone must go to sleep and wake up early … for tomorrow!" Master Wushu stood as he announced the result

No one tried to talk to Shams and he was ignored by everyone … except Master Wushu and Maya.

Before Maya could comfort Shams, Master Wushu called Shams and asked him for a private talk outside the cottage.

They walked outside while the others went their own ways.

[-In the Coliseum-]

A day after the registration of participants.

Master Wushu and his other disciples positioned themselves on the lobby for the participants.

There were loud cheers from the crowd and different bustling reactions from them.

A huge coliseum filled with audience and gigantic screens on each side prompting for the scenes of each participant.

The coliseum had no roof and was exposed to the rays of the sun and other elemental phenomena.

Above the crowd and the coliseum was the vast blue sky … Clear and bright.

On the gigantic screens, a sudden flash appeared …

[The Schedule for the Preliminary Round:]

[1] Junior Division: Whole Morning

[2] Senior Division: Whole Afternoon

[3] Apprentice Division: Whole Evening

"Everyone! For the first event in the Preliminary Round … The Junior Division!" announced by a host.

There was a host assigned to entertain the audience and to update everyone regarding the developments in the tournament.

In coordination with the other organizers and technical staff members.

Screams of cheers reverberated around the arena of the coliseum.

Many wondered where the participants of the {-Junior Division-} are,

No clue or whatsoever could be seen from any participants of the {-Junior Division-} around the arena or inside the coliseum.

"For this round, the theme is TEAM WORK!" loudly announced by the host.
