Transmigration of Shams: The Legendary Cultivator

A day after the final match of the tournament.

There was an awarding ceremony schedule to take place in the great hall of Social Welfare & Registry Department.

A separate building where large meeting and conferences were being held.

Members of the organizing committee decided to hold the awarding ceremony on a different venue.

To ensure a more regulated and controlled security of the premises.

Unlike the coliseum, the great hall has a more secured and enclosed structure.

Preventing any surprise attacks from any villainous entity.

Due to the high dignitaries and special guests invited to the awarding ceremony, the security had to be extremely heightened compared to the security during the tournament.

Many citizens were disappointed for not being able to avail the tickets for the awarding ceremony.

Because the moment when the tickets were open for sale, within the day … all tickets were sold out.

Though, there would be free viewing in the coliseum. But the experience of witnessing the awarding ceremony in person is different from watching it on the screen.

--On the day of Awarding Ceremony--

All awardees were required to attend the ceremony.

Trophies, medals and prizes will be given to the champions and even to the top ranking participants.

From runner-ups to top Rank #4 will be given medals.

But only champions will receive trophy and the rewards for winning their respective division.

The awarding ceremony started with the welcoming of guests and long speeches from high officials of the Golden Dragon Sect.

An intermission performance given by the floral dance troupe before the official awarding began.

{Junior-Ranked} Division Champion and top ranks were requested on stage for the awarding.

At the appearance of Shams with his mask on and his usual enigmatic presence.

Some female members of the audience cheered for Shams.

But the name they were screaming was …

"RANKUZAAAA!!!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!!" screamed by some female fans of Shams.

Hearing their cheers, the real Rankuza blushed and became self-conscious.

Even though he knew it was not for him, hearing his name being chanted by pretty ladies and getting admired of … brings flattering feelings.

"Look at Rankuza! I bet he is blushing now hearing those chanting and screaming from the female fans." Some of the disciples of Master Wushu started teasing the real Rankuza while they were accompanying their master.

Fortunately, no one heard them teasing Rankuza but only their fellow disciples and their master heard them teasing their younger disciple.

"Stop teasing him! Remember, be vigilant with other people. We do not want others to be suspicious towards us." Master Wushu warned his disciples.

Immediately they behaved after their master warned them.

At the same time, when Shams and the other {Junior-Ranked} awardees were being awarded.

High Officials and one of the generals of the army of the emperor focused their attention on Shams.

While shaking their hands, the general whispered to Shams.

"You have a bright future ahead of you. Do not settle for less! Broaden your horizon and reach for the stars!" the general alluded or encouraged Shams to leave his school after graduating from his apprentice-ship to Master Wushu.

Shams understood the words of the general.

After their awarding, Billy approached Shams.

"Congrats! Little Ryo-- …" Billy was about to utter Ryoku until he remembered Shams was under the guise of Rankuza.

He corrected himself instantly before continuing in his greetings to Shams.

"Little Rankuza! Congrats to you bud! I know we have not congratulated you for your win but others will turn around. You deserve the championship!"

Then, Hawks interjected the conversation between Billy and Shams.

"Do not be too complacent! Next year, we will take the title of -Champion- away from you. So, train harder because we will make sure that you will not get that lucky next time." Hawks issued a challenge to Shams.

Shams responded with a smirk before giving his retort.

"Shouldn't you be the one who needs to train harder after losing from me?"

Hawks clenched his fist from agitation.

Billy chuckled and kept his laugh to prevent Hawks from getting humiliated.

"Hawks … you shouldn't be mad because he has a point you know." Billy teased Hawks after Shams responded.

Barette was observing the three disciples of Master Wushu few meters away.

Contemplating if she should approach Hawks or not.

After losing in the Grand Finals Round, Barette became a fan of Hawks secretly.

Her shyness was noticed by her fellow disciples.

"Hey, Barette! Why don't you approach him? Instead of lurking behind the pillar like a weirdo." One of the disciples of Master Narcisso teased Barette.

As they laughed at the sight of Barette's flustered and blushing face.

They did not expect for her to smack them as her response.

On the other hand,

While waiting for their turn, Shay, Feilong and the rest of the {Apprentice-Ranked} awardees were at the waiting area.

Feilong and Shay talked about what she saw during the final match.

The night before the awarding ceremony, Shay reported to their master regarding what she sensed around the coliseum.

Master Wushu advised Shay not to be bothered much.

'Since it is the responsibility of the Golden Dragon Sect to hunt those fiends. Do not let it bother you! Focus on things that matter at the moment. Hatred will only lead you astray.' Master Wushu's words were ringing within Shay's mind.

From their position, Master Narcisso appeared and requested for Shay's attention.

"Did you also sense him, Shay?" Master Narcisso uttered upon appearing next to them.
