Trinitas Mundus - The Story of Saint Knight Ray
Episode 74: Triumph: Previous
October 10.
Yesterday evening, the priests of the Light Divinity arrived in the village of Millis to complete the treatment of the remaining seriously wounded. For this reason, the prostitutes had recovered to such an extent that the march was possible.
The Priests of Phototheism, who began treatment, questioned the low number of serious injuries and were trying to find out who had treated them. But with Hamish's concern not to let Ray's presence be known, all the soldiers in the advance party cloud and mislead their mouths.
Although the priests of the Light Divinity were somewhat suspicious, they decided to hurry to the front line in order to give priority to their purpose, the battle against the devil tribe. For this reason they did not do an in-depth examination, nor did they come up with a further report to the Archbishops of Fonce.
Ray is alert to trouble with them when the Priest of Light God arrives. He thought his armor, snow clothes (Nixwestis), would stand out, took it off, and was careful not to stand out as much as possible.
And the priests left earlier this morning for the village of Chulock.
(Thanks. It's a pain in the ass when you're flabbergasted by light godliness. Especially with Morton...... I need to thank everyone......)
10: 00 a.m.
Hamish Markat, commander of the prostitute, decides to turn to Fonce, the king's capital, and return.
"Our Demonic Crusader Army Prostitute Squad returns toward Wang Du. Second Squadron, please follow the instructions of the Commander of the Leland Battalion and stand by."
One of the civilian soldiers of the Third Battalion, Second Squadron, speaks up.
"I'm getting rid of the Knights of the Springs! Captain! Please add yourself to the Mercenaries (Red Arms)!
There are more than ten soldiers in tune with the word.
Hamish gave a slightly puzzled look,
"Now I want you to wait. If you return to the King's capital on your own, you will be treated like deserters. At least with Lord Leland's permission, you will be accompanied."
The soldiers get together and start consulting. And you came to the conclusion that the first soldier to raise his voice,
"Got it! I'm going to get Captain Leland's permission now. That would be nice, wouldn't it? I'll chase you by Bridgend, so please take me with you!
Hamish was against quitting the Knights and becoming a mercenary, but he also understood their thoughts.
"Let's be good. But don't push it. We're not in a hurry. Now, you brave prostitutes. We're going to triumph over Wang Du!
Everyone said in his words, "" Ooh!, "he responded, leaving the village of Millis.
Ashley, watching that interaction, was thinking about what Ray told her yesterday.
(I couldn't take his hand, which he offered me to come with. I really want to go with you. but......)
Somehow Ray and I get our distance, and the horses rock us all by themselves.
(From here to Wangdu (Fonce), maybe ten days... we have to reach a conclusion by then...)
Valeria Harvey, captain of the Fifth Squad, was watching Ashley, who contemplates one person.
(I wonder what happened to Ash? It's weirdly blocked... but Ray and I have a fight? No way. Looks like you should be a little concerned...)
Valeria shifts her gaze from Ashley to Ray.
(Ray, you look clearer than you did yesterday. Looks like something happened. “Valeria,” but I think I need to take it off...)
Valeria made that note in the corner of her mind, then went back to work.
Arwell Kilgaroho, former battalion leader of the Third Battalion of the Knights of the Springs, had been transferred from the village of Bogby to the city of Bridgand.
Baron Dowland, who was a military superintendent, is under house arrest in the defending squad quarters of the city of Bridgand, just like him.
Regardless of Arwell, who was intoxicated and exposed to ugliness in front of Knights Commander Victor Lockletter on Oct. 7, Bridgand's defense team was tilting his neck for being placed under house arrest until Dowland, who was just performing his duties as a military warden.
Over the past few days, Dowland kept thinking about how he was going to shake himself.
(Depending on my testimony, Captain Kilgaroho's disposition will be lighter. But can we shelter a captain exposed to that ugliness? A lapse requested by the Duke but not manageable. Will I be able to testify to overturn this and I will be safe?
He thinks of the faces of the Knights' key officials.
(From the former Knights Commander, the main Knights officials, such as the Deputy Commander and the First Battalion Commander, have given Lord Braveburn. Even if His Majesty admits to testifying to my lies, my future in the Knights will be crushed. What happens if you tell the truth the other way around? Lord Kilgaroho is powerful. He is also reaching out steadily to the Knights. But public power definitely shreds in this case. If……)
I look around the room where I am and go further with my thoughts.
(It would be the intention of the Knights Commander that I was placed under house arrest here. But His Majesty couldn't question it either. His Majesty is trying to sharpen Lord Kilgaroho's power. Then I can switch from Kilgaroho to Braveburn. Whatever Lord Braveburn is, His Excellency the Knights Commander, a born samurai. If you think I have made the right report with all due respect, you will not be banished. All we have to do is turn Lord Kilgaroho's anger on him...)
He writes up the report before the officials return to the King's Capital and comes up with the idea of sending it to Lord Braveburn.
(If my report is delivered to Lord Braveburn, will the public review me, too? Yeah, that's good. Let's prepare a report immediately…)
When Baron Dowland compiled his report in one day that day, he sent it to Lord Braveburn, using a defensive team's early horse.
The report was safely put into the hands of Lord Braveburn of the King's Capital on October 13.
Dowland was hitting his hands even harder.
He met with the Knights of the Guard and exposed all the ugliness of Captain Kilgaroho this time. Initially I also thought about coloring my foot, but soon I realize that I don't need a foot color.
(I showed all that ugliness. You don't have to exaggerate in vain. Conversely, if the footprints are dispersed, the credibility of my report is called into question. The prostitutes will already be defeated and Hamish Markat dead. He was also popular around here, so rumors about his death would soon reach the King's Capital. If the contents of my report and rumors match, Lord Braveburn should reuse me too...)
Bridgand has yet to receive any news of yesterday's victory, and he believed the prostitutes were murdered by the demons.
Rumors that began to circulate on the night of October 10, when he arrived in Bridgand, as thought, five days later, on October 15, had been passed down to the King's Capital.
There was one miscalculation in Dowland.
Rumors had already spread in the alley that Arwell Kilgaroho had used the power of his parents, the Duke's house, to become commander of the advance party, and that the king, knowing that he lacked power, had attempted to use this personnel as an instrument of political strife.
For this reason, when the ugliness of his flushed Arwell spread, his opposition to the Duke of Kilgaroho and the King grew geometrically in number.
The information manipulation he carried out for his own protection will shake the Kingdom of Lax after this.
Arwell Kilgaroho had little recollection of the ugliness he had shown the Kings in the village of Bogby. The next day, most of my men headed to the battlefield with the Knights Commander, and the remaining men - the ministers of the Kilgaroho family of Arwell children - were also beginning to distance themselves from him, taking that day to the border.
(I can't remember yesterday. What did you say to the captain? But I didn't expect the main unit to arrive this early. If I knew that, I would have fought... what would happen to me? If you ask your father, as a stationed martial officer in some country, you'll be able to wait for most of them to cool off. Or, as punishment, will they be made to command the fortifications in the countryside......)
Even here, he thought his faults were enough to wipe out if he used his parents' power.
For this reason, even if the Knights Commander was told, before he left, that he would dismiss the Third Battalion Commander, and even if he heard that he would be transferred to Bridgand, he would not disorient himself without particular disruption.
He arrived in Bridgand on Oct. 10 and, even if he was placed under house arrest, could afford just to place an order on his meal.
October 13th.
The prostitutes of the advance party, led by Hamish Markat, arrived in Bridgand City, the eastern stronghold of the Kingdom of Lax.
Along the way, fifteen former 3rd Battalion soldiers, with Leland's permission, were joining us, but ten days ago, there were three hundred advance troop prostitutes down to just over a third.
Citizens unmistakably praise the appearance of the courageous soldiers, darkened with oak blood and, by the way, dressed in dimpled armor.
The prostitutes were honestly pleased that they were being praised for their work, but even wondered when the story had been conveyed.
Hamish, the commander in particular,
(Did you send out an early horse to report the situation before us? With His Majesty accompanied, you shouldn't have to report it? Lord Victor may have sent Lord Braveburn a report...)
In fact, Knights chief Victor Rockletter had arranged to convey the victory of Millis Valley to the King's Capital as well as to transport supplies from Bridgand.
From that early horse, the information brought about merges with the story of Baron Dowland, and the work of the prostitutes will be known by most of the citizens.
The prostitutes, for the first time in a long time in a safe city, were able to remove the fouling of the battle and had their wings removed.
Some of them were former soldiers of the Third Battalion.
They celebrate the greatness of the proselytizing soldiers, as well as spit out the words and deeds of subsequent kings and knights of advanced nobility in the liquor store with their own outrage.
Many adventurers who heard the story spread the story within the guild, and the merchants who were trading with them spread rumors all over the town.
Bridgand is a small town, so in just two days most citizens were to learn the story.
The three of us, Ray, Ashley and Stella, were eating quietly on their own without joining the silly noise of the prostitutes.
Occasionally, he was caught by those who wanted to hear about the prostitutes, but he kept turning down his seat.
