Trinitas Mundus - The Story of Saint Knight Ray

Episode 72: The Pericritle Offensive Battle: Part VII

Tria Calendar 325, December 26 at 3 p.m.

The city of adventurers, the battle in Periclitle and later called the Periclitle offensive were moving into the final phase.

This battle, which opened in the morning, resulted in the burial of 70% of the demonic armies that had invaded, due to clever traps on the defensive side, namely the side of Periclitle. By the time it was past noon, it was thought that the battle would end in a victory on the part of Periclitle.

In fact, the damage on the periclitoral side is about 20%. The difference in power, which had more than tripled before the war, had almost reached the point of antagonism. Morale on the part of Periclitle had reached its culmination, as it had further annihilated the enemy's greatest force, the Middle-Ghost Troops, and had also inflicted devastating damage on the Great Ghost Troops, which boasted tremendous destructive power.

Orvo Kronvar, commander of the Western contingent of Sokius - the Demonic Nation - renounced the occupation of Pericritle, one of its strategic aims, to the magnitude of its damage.

But he could not have chosen to withdraw from the haunted pride of the ghost tribe and from a situation deeper into enemy rule than that. He planned his own will and a final showdown to break this unfavourable situation.

Randall Ogburn, who commands the Periclitle Army, decides that he cannot let go of the Demonic Army, which still holds unapologetic power. With anxiety, he decided to be challenged by his enemies.

Approximately one thousand five hundred and fifty Periclitle troops and one thousand six hundred Demonic troops confront each other north of Periclitle city in a meadow stained with dead grass.

Ray, who is the staff of the Periclitle Army, was a short distance from Randall, the defensive commander on the front line, along with Reginald Warbeck, the Adventurer Guild chief who became Commander-in-Chief.

He puts himself on a stunning frog-born horse of love as commander of the horseback squad.

Behind him were sixteen Lukes saint knights who solidified themselves in pure white gear, waiting while riding so that they could go out as quickly as he did.

Neither the horses nor the treatment of the Saints wounded in the battle have been completed, and I cannot feel the weakness when they flee back from the Medium Ghost Troops.

Ray stared quietly at the state of the whole army from the saddle of his beloved horse.

Ten avant-garde units form a two-step side-by-side line in front of the command, and the elite of Randall's immediate rank of just over one hundred and fifty - about fifty killed and wounded in the retreat to the East Gate - form three teams behind the avant-garde unit. The rightmost wing of the avant-garde unit had a poorly equipped unit, Luke's Peasant Militia unit, creating a slightly distorted two-column sideline. In the center of them was the figure of Hazel, a healer, an extraordinary commander.

Two hundred archers line the left and right of the elite troops, with bows to cover the avant-garde.

Next to the command was a unit of magicians consisting of fifty magicians, some of whom appeared to be Lionel Raspade, a professor at the School of Magic in Doctus.

The formation of the Periclitle army was shaped close to the formation of crane wings with their wings slightly protruding.

Meanwhile, the Demon Army is dominated by about sixty heavily armed Great Ghost warriors in the center and about a hundred orgasms with huge sticks. Behind it were about five hundred little ghost warriors and about nine hundred goblins refraining. A close look also revealed a slight but medium-haunted tribe, with about twenty people solidified behind the Great Haunted Tribe without a location.

This one was shaped close to a formation of fish scales with the main big and medium ghosts in the front center and a large number of little ghost squads expanding to envelop them from behind.

The Great Ghost Commander, Orvo Kronvar, was looking to ravage his enemies with a raid by a direct unit consisting of the Great Ghost and Auga, who boasted a powerful and unparalleled offensive power.

(There shouldn't have been room to patrol the enemy to get here. Then our most skilled power battle. Unless you hit your eyes or neck, such as an enemy bow, you don't need to be afraid. The only target is the "White Mage”. We have no future in Sokius without defeating him!

His aim was not to go for victory, it was just to kill Ray.

By the time the two armies had finished expanding into the meadows, the sun was leaning west and the sky was beginning to stain with a cedar color.

Randall of the Periclitle Army was in a hurry.

(If it's a night war, we're more at an overwhelming disadvantage. But in two hours, the sun will fall completely. For once, the magic props and bonfires of the lights were made available. But if the darkness falls, there is no denying the disadvantage. If we destroy our enemies by then, or at least crush the Great Haunted Troops, we can't keep the city safe. There are no measures or anything in this situation. I just have to push it with force......)

The tactic to be picked this time by the Periclitle Army was for archers and young adventurers to hit the Little Ghost Troop and for veterans and sorcerers to hit with the enemy's main Great Ghost Troop.

After stopping the Great Ghost Troops, it is a measure to annihilate the Little Ghost Troops and siege a small number of Great Ghost Troops.

(I can't call it a measure, but I don't have a choice. If something were to happen here, it would just be how he moves...)

Randall turns a blind eye to Ray, who could have followed the Saints.

(... but few of his hand tags. Only fifty scout ambushes, seventeen horsemen, including him, and fifty magician troops... how to use these three troops, but at least I can think of nothing...)

Randall cries out for orders against all the army so as to shake off the idea that he is about to become pessimistic.

"All units, move forward! Both wings smash the little ghost squad! Central contain the Great Ghost Clan! The city awaits a victory booze. Let's get this over with!

The voice echoes the powerful voice of "Ooh!" from the Periclitle army.

The curtain of battle was cut and dropped with Randall's signal.

The second act of the PericLittle offensive was opened by defensive attacks that had to be aimed at a short-term showdown.

Orvo Kronvar of the Demonic Army laughs niggardly as he sees how the Periclitle Army moves forward.

"The enemy has no plan! Finally, the battle of our ghosts, the collision of power and power! My brethren! Crush the enemy in front of you and we're going into the city! Assault!"

By his order, sixty Great Ghost Warriors and a hundred orgasms began to move forward in heavy footsteps.

While Orvo is commander of all armies, he takes the lead as he wields his proud giant double-edged axe.

Five minutes after the whole army started moving.

The two clashed in the meadows north of Periclitle, where the cold wind rocked the dead grass.

It was on the side of the Periclitle army, which had a means of ranged attack, that took the lead.

Four hundred archers will shoot arrows in like rain against the goblins of the Little Ghost tribe troops that will storm.

Though they were goblins forming loose formations that were difficult to say dense, Periclitle's archers captured their prey precisely.

Not long after the archers cheered, the Goblins began to evade by instructions from the Little Ghost Operator (Tamer). The ingenious movement stopped the archers from coming up as quickly as they thought.

The goblins, as instructed by the manipulators (Tamer), further shrunk their dwarves and attacked the avant-garde of the Periclitle army as they crawled through the earth.

Ashley was in command of about fifty young left-wing adventurers.

The goblins distort their ugly faces with a belligerent look and are roaring. And he forced himself into the adventurer's line as he wielded a crude weapon.

Ashley was giving instructions to young adventurers who were stiffening themselves with Hamish (father) conceded loud voice "Dai Ojo".

"The enemy is a goblin! Don't be nervous about the grubby fish!

Her tense, slightly bass voice imbues the spirit of the youngsters. They forgot the last minute tension and quickly regained their composure.

"The magician stands lower than usual! Don't make me nostalgic! Don't let the gladiator get behind you! Let's just crush the mutton fish and get to the big guy!

Ashley arrows her men not to be afraid and gives them early instructions. And he said, "I'm going to exercise a little! When he shouted," It wasn't long before his men stopped him, and the only one, the Goblins, danced among them.

She was going for the Little Ghost Warrior behind the Goblins.

Ashley waves the boneless two-handed sword, the sword of love, and wipes the goblins away like they go to a deserted field.

The figure was painted on the blood of the goblins, and after a few minutes her whole body was stained bright red.

"I'm too unresponsive in goblins! It doesn't matter what the line is! All assaults!

That's what I shouted with a belligerent grin.

Some of the young adventurers opened their eyes to her bloodstained misery for a moment. But he immediately returned to me and, like his commander, smiled furiously and burst into a flock of goblins with a roar.

At that time, Ashley was far cooler than the young adventurers thought.

(This fight is a short-term showdown. The darkness will soon descend. The enemy has a good night's eye, but we don't. A little forceful, but if we destroy the Little Ghost Troops as soon as possible, we won't win)

The Goblins are mostly equipped with crude wooden spears, only slightly equipped with swords and spears taken from adventurers scattered in the eastern meadows.

Ashley's men hung completely swallowing that they were just goblins and buried one after the other.

In the meantime, a young adventurer who might or might not be twenty years old was slapping his sword on a goblin with a crude spear that just shredded a tree.

He said, "There's a goblin flair!," he grinned niggardly, stopping to find further prey.

At that moment, he experiences severe pain in his flank.

When he looked under severe pain, there was a sharp dagger piercing through a gap in leather armor and zero deep red blood like red balls Ruby.

When he lifts his eyes from his flank, there's one little ghost warrior laughing niggardly and holding a dagger. Little ghost warriors were cleverly attacked from the blind spots of young men.

"Can only the goblins deal with them? Miscellaneous fish!"

The Little Ghost Warrior threw that up at his over-responsive enemies and put a kick in his body to retrieve the dagger that had stabbed him on the side of the young man. The leg strength is as strong as you can think of, and the young man is blown away greatly. The Little Ghost Warrior was also about to lose his balance due to that recoil, but he showed a backward rewind that cut a stump and landed brilliantly without losing his posture. The movement was comparable to that of a trained beast man.

The young man could not believe what had happened to him and fell on his back holding the wound.

"Help me! A healer! Hang on to the healing magic...... aah! I'm going to help..."

He asks for help, but there was no one on the battlefield that could afford it. Crowded by goblins who were following the Little Ghost Warrior, he remained desperate.

Ashley bites at the fact that she misread the prowess of the Little Ghost Warrior.

(Stronger than I thought. Small, but quite a force. On average, the scouts of middle-class scouts... instead of pushing them in like this, they can't break through...)

"The Little Ghost Warriors are stronger than I thought! Don't deal with him alone! Deal with every squad as trained!

During his training, Ashley had created a five-man, spot squad to be able to handle a variety of things.

This imitates the formation of the Markat Mercenary Regiment, but it assumed city warfare in the narrow East Side and decided that it would be more advantageous to act in smaller numbers than in larger numbers. She tried to use it in this phase as well.

At her command, a squad of swordsmen and magicians is gradually formed. Her contemplated squad structure was a combination of avant-garde and medium guard to accommodate various phases.

The five first-squad adventurers immediately work with their peers as they are trained to eliminate each other's blind spots.

As a result, it was temporarily a dominant Little Ghost tribe unit, but at Ashley's direction, it was gradually pushed back.

The left wing of the Periclitle army was able to bring it to a point where Ashley's command managed to antagonize it.

Ray was staring at the battlefield from the horse. Like his girlfriend Ashley, he realizes that he missaw the fighting power of the Little Ghost Warrior.

(I'm hiding from the Big Ghosts and the Medium Ghosts, but the fighting power of the Little Ghosts doesn't make me stupid either. I thought the scouts I caught were extraordinarily brilliant elites, but apparently highly capable of fighting as a race. This makes the operation of pushing in the Little Ghost Troops and besieging the Great Ghost Troops difficult...)

He glanced at the Ashley squad battle taking place on the left-wing side.

(Ash's troops are going to figure it out. It may be difficult until we push it in, but it doesn't look so urgent that the front collapses......)

He moves his gaze to the right wing. There his expression is slightly distorted.

(That's tough on the right wing. Luke's peasant militia is no stranger whenever they break through. It's going to be awkward if we don't do something about it. But the front could be tougher......)

On his front there was a clash between the elite troop one hundred and fifty by veteran adventurers and an almost equal number of the Great Haunted Tribe troop one hundred and sixty.

Both of them with more physique differences than adults and children, but just as the veterans were sophisticated, skilfully wielding the orgasms and fighting to avoid decisive damage.

But when the Great Ghost Warriors are opponents, they can't afford it all at once.

In addition to his strength, the Great Ghost Warrior had a savvy martial arts experience while roughly shredding. The weapons they use are two-handed swords and boneless gold bars with more than two meters, but when they are shaken, an incredible heavy bass wind incision is roaring. So far they were adventurers who kept avoiding it without difficulty, but their spirit gradually eroded before an attack that would kill them instantly if they ate a blow.

Further, the Great Ghost Warriors were responding to collaborating adventurers, cutting the power of the adventurers, albeit slightly.

(With Mr. Randall on the front line, morale is high. I can handle it so far, but it's already a mixed war, so it's difficult to magically support it...)

He sees Raspade in the mage unit beside him as chilling.

(The commander of the Mage Squad was a veteran mage, but it feels like he's attacking. Hopefully Dr. Raspade has something to do with it, but that guy is a demon prop researcher, and he's not researching attack magic... and now is not the time to think about it. In the meantime, we need to help the most dangerous right wing......)

He decided to spare time to patrol the most pressing right-wing support.

And get permission from Reginald Warbeck, the guild chief who is commander-in-chief.

"The right wing is an awkward situation. Me and the Holy Knights are going to support you!

Warbeck nodded loudly, "I'll leave it to your discretion. Come on!" and allowed to leave.

As Ray bowed his head to the guild chief, he immediately spoke to the captain of the Saint Knights, Langess Fortunato.

"I'll give you right-wing support. Magically attack from the enemy's side around the rear of the right-wing unit, then storm. The purpose is to stir up the enemy. Be careful not to suffer unnecessary damage. We need you to be active in a more important phase."

Fortunato nods to the words "as you please," and speaks to his men, the Holy Knights.

"As ordered by Dear Arklight (...), stir up the enemy! Consider not being defeated, rather than defeating your enemies! Master Arklight wants to give us a better stage. Heartbeat!"

The Holy Knights raise their spears to represent their will to consent.

Ray leans his neck toward the Saints who follow more honestly than he thought.

(Captain Paredes - Maximilian Paredes killed by Fortunato because of his escape in front of his enemies - even if it's not as bad as it sounds, all the priests of the Light Divinity are imagined like chunks of electorate consciousness. But these people honestly follow the words of a young man like me. It helps, but things are going so crazy...)

Though I think so in a corner of my head, I immediately regain consciousness on the battlefield.

(Shoot magic from the side into the left wing of the enemy to confuse it. Then add a horseback assault and pull out rearward. I don't think there's any damage if we don't get into the back...... with that said, how much magic do the Saints have left?

"How much magic do you have left? Tell me how many times you can shoot an arrow of light"

Fortunato answers the question on his behalf.

"I thought it was about five shots in the least. Me and about five more people can shoot about ten shots."

Ray nodded at the words,

"Okay. The arrow of light is on my signal, please. Okay, we're going out!

He sends a light signal to the belly of his beloved horse traveler.

Traveller tried to accelerate at once after hissing happily. But when Ray gently pulls the reins, he feels slightly dissatisfied, but honestly slows the acceleration.

"Because I can't keep up behind you. Leave your strength behind."

When he speaks that way to his beloved horse, he turns around chillily. There he saw a pure white horseback riding squad in a single vertical formation.

(Not in the words of Bishop Gastaldi - Head of the Demonic Crusade of the Light Divinity - but you're certainly elite. Seems like you can use enough if you just mess up your enemies...)

In the front, Luke's peasant militiamen are desperately sticking out spears at Hazel's signal.

Not so much time had passed since the beginning of the war, but the number of people already standing had been reduced to about two-thirds. And it was still being pushed in gradually.

Hazel in the center is desperately raising her voice, but her voice doesn't look like it's reaching the peasant militias.

Ray's eyes didn't even seem to have a moment's respite.

(That's awkward. I knew I couldn't... in the meantime, I need to make sure Mr. Hazel's instructions arrive...)

He shouted to them as he ran behind the peasant militias.

"I will kick your enemies! But please don't force me to come forward! You all follow the captain's instructions, Mr. Hazel!

As soon as we pass behind the peasant militias, once we distance ourselves from our enemies by about fifty meters.

"Prepare the arrows of light! I'm going in there chanting a spell!

When he screams so much, he makes his horse run.

At once he accelerated to the raid (Gallup) and cast a spell of a crossbow of light.

"God of light (Lucidus), who commands all the light of the world. Consolidate the holy power of your family, the Spirit of Light, and give me the glowing arrow. I will not give you the power of my life. Pierce my enemies! Light Crossbow Multiple Shining Bolts!

Five arrows of light pop out of his left hand one after the other.

Shortly afterwards, sixteen arrows of light go over his head and pour down on the Little Ghost tribe troops.

Ray's arrows of light pierced the captain-class little ghost warriors and manipulators (Tamer) one after the other as he aimed. Moreover, the arrows of light of the Holy Knights strike all enemies. Exactly, the arrows of light alone could not defeat the Little Ghost Warrior, but there was a slight confusion in the left-wing painting of the enemy in an unexpected attack.

Ray didn't miss that gap. He said, "Assault! shouting," Love Spear White Horn (Album Cornu) stands low and storms off.

Initially, the Little Ghost Troops were quite insulting to just a few horseback riding squads. But he stiffened himself to twenty-one arrows of light and unified pure white equipment, and feared the knights who stormed him with the sound of heavy hooves.

Among the warriors of the Demonic Army is the Kingdom of Kaum - a mountainous nation in the south. There is a border Toa fort with Kwaedam Tenebre - there were only a few who experienced fighting with it, but there were. But he had only experienced an offensive battle at the fort or an encounter with the scouts, and no one had seen an assault by a heavily armed cavalry up close. As a result, many of the troops injured by the Commander Class did not know how to deal with the enemy.

A cavalry of seventeen horsemen, led by Ray, slashes and rips apart a small ghost tribe unit that nearly panicked.

Ray takes the lead and sticks his spear out to the left and right so that he can get rid of it., as he went the deserted field, he cut a breakthrough into the side of the Little Ghost Troop.

He almost never lost speed due to skillful equestrianism. It pushed almost at full speed through the confusing enemy's left-wing units. The Saints who followed him were also brilliant equestrians and spears, forcing the Little Ghost tribe to bleed.

of the Commander of the Little Ghost Clan. "There are a few enemies! Calm down!" sounds the voice, but the troops who panicked once can't easily recover.

The Goblins, who have lost Tamer even more, fall into mere obedience to their fighting instincts, ignoring the commander's instructions and attacking the Rays.

This divided the left wing of the Demonic Army into a response to the Lukes peasant militia units forward and the Saint Knights attacking from the left, deepening the confusion.

Ray decided to send a signal to the Stellas scouts at the rear of the enemy in order to circle the mess.

"Ignis, God of Fire, God of Fire who burns everything down. Give me the glory of the Great Wheel of Fire. I will not give you the power of my life. Open to the sky! Big Wheel Peony (Firepeonia)!"

An orange flaming flower opens with an explosion in the center of the left-wing unit.

During the battle on the eastern plains, the Little Ghost tribe troops are confused by the sound of overhead explosions and dazzling light, although they watched in the distance. Further archers who emerged from the rear temporarily paralyzed the chain of command on the left wing of the Demonic Army.

(Now the peasant militias should take a breather. The enemy will soon recover from the confusion too, so we better get out of here...)

Ray escaped to the side by multiplying the confusion without going deep into the enemy's left wing.

Seeing the Holy Knight following him, but without missing any one, he maintained a longitudinal formation.

Ray went straight to the rear of the Demon Army.
