Trinitas Mundus - The Story of Saint Knight Ray

Episode 25: Praise from the Kingdom

The night of April 23rd.

Two consecutive feasts had begun at the Blacksmith Guild headquarters.

I tasted a six-year-old scotch along the Sulay River (side), where the distillery was first built in the Kaum Kingdom, but I only have the impression that it is too strong for Ray.

Afterwards, as usual, barrels such as beer, wine, and apple liquor (seedles) are arranged in a narrow manner, and large plates of Dwarves' banquet dishes and so-called "Dwarf dishes” are arranged.

A dish with potatoes in it came out of every large pot. The pan has a diameter of more than fifty cm (semel) and is carried heavily by the staff.

The contents of the pot, but besides the potatoes, it contains beef, carrots and onions, and is less moisturizing when it comes to soup.

Ray looked familiar, it was a common dish.

"Meat potatoes... I really made them"

When you say that to squeal, watch out for Luna next door with a slightly troubled face.

"It's completely different from what you know. It could be similar to where it's sweet."

That's what I said, I took it off the pan into a plate, and put it before him.

"It's sugar and fish soy to taste. I wonder if it feels like" meat potatoes "with too much stock. I think this is delicious."

Ray puts a knife in the potato, pokes it in the fork and carries it to his mouth.

After a bite, he said, "It's delicious,"

"You do have an unusual scent. I don't know what to say, but I think it would be if they told me it was this kind of dish. But you want“ chopsticks. "A knife and a fork are too different."

"I agree with you about the chopsticks. But I'm glad it seems to fit your mouth. It tasted better than it was in the beginning, but I knew it was uncomfortable."

"Still, how much do we have to make? I can't imagine."

Luna laughs when she says "right" to the word, pointing to the pan in front of her.

"I wonder if there are about ten of these pots. People here know how to make it, so I just looked at the flavor and tweaked it."

Ray rounds his eyes to that amount.

"It's like a lunch center. All I can say is it's amazing..."

Gaelic notes have been added to two of those stories.

"This guy's my favorite. There are places to make them in Ars (here), but they don't really extend to Luna's stuff. I'm so glad I ate this today."

"Mr. Gaelnote liked black beer for this, didn't he?"

"Bye. This is the best black beer I've ever had. Other guys say lagers are better suited, but that's all I can give away."

Listening to such a conversation, Ray was interested in what life Luna had lived.

(My novel "Trinitas Mundus," after being helped, I recreated Japanese cuisine and worked on the Home Affairs cheat system... I guess it didn't really feel that way because there were reincarnators here first...)

Though I thought about it that way, I look at the food in front of me and think back.

(This is how I was reproducing the food, so was it somewhat close to my setting? And I'd like to hear about a reincarnator named Zach. Luna feels like she doesn't really want to talk...)

I want to shake the reincarnator's subject, but the Dwarves are constantly talking to Luna. That's not all, there are a lot of dwarves who talk to him, and not much time to talk to Luna for sitting next to him.

I can recommend alcohol to the Dwarves talking to me, but he also learned somewhat at at yesterday's banquet, hanging the magic of detoxification many times, being careful not to crush it. Furthermore, Luna signaled that Ryan was in danger and hung the magic of detoxification.

For what it's worth, I could finish the banquet without miraculously crushing it.

Only Ryan just drinks too much and can't walk straight with the thousand feet of something he can walk on his own.

Fortunately, the "Golden Floor" Anvil Pavilion ”, an inn, is close to headquarters, so Ray and Ashley are able to handle it by supporting it.

"A banquet with Dwarves is fun. I was surprised at first because I only had the impression that it was difficult, but you're just a good person."

To Ray's words, Luna, walking forward, said, "Right," and looked back.

"You're all good people. So much so that I feel like a real family."

That's what I'm gonna say. Turn around and look forward.

"We're due tomorrow, but what are we going to do? I've decided to make an orb for the Unos."

"Right. But I have to show my face to the Alliance every day... Speaking of which, what's going on with Luna's magic training?

Ione walks beside Luna to answer that question.

"Master Luna has made good progress. Already enough to use simple attack magic if you are a dark attribute. Other attributes are available until activated."

"But I wish I could have used it right away, like you did, but it's like I have to remember one thing at a time. It's a little bit scary."

Hearing that Ray used powerful magic shortly after he was summoned to this world, Luna was in a bit of a hurry.

"In my case, the owner of this body remembered the magic... and I practiced hiding in the woods at first. Hey, Ash."

"Right. I was able to use it from the beginning, but sometimes I couldn't walk because I didn't know my limits and was out of magic. It's safe here, but you better remember exactly what Lord Ione said. I forbid you to rush anything."

"Right. But I can't walk... let me tell you about that time, Mr. Ashley. You were practicing in the back of the woods, weren't you? How did you get back to the city..."

Their bright voices echoed in the commercial district of Ars at night, staring warmly at how they seemed to be befriended by those similarly liquored.

The next morning, in the backyard of the Golden Floor Pavilion, the Rays were sweating into their workouts.

Except for Ryan and Ione, he kept his weapon and put more effort into bareback than usual because he could be an unusual weapon.

It's been about thirty minutes, and when I take a breath, Ray raises his surprise as he lifts his spear.

"It's a really awesome spear! Without my white horn (Album Corne), I would have gotten used to it as quickly as I wanted to make it this spear. And the efficiency of magic is good. You can wrap magic around it without having to. That's one of the best spears in the world."

Ashley nods loudly at his words, which are also exciting.

"Right. I borrow a spare sword, too, but to be honest, it's easier to use than a Bartel sword. Well, it's also true that this sword is too much for me."

For care, I kept my sword, but borrowed a two-handed sword as a replacement weapon in between. It's not a magic sword, it's a steel sword, but still, 100,000 kronas were crappy masterpieces.

"This time, thanks to Luna, I can try to raise the bottom of my power. Especially since improving the weapons of Lord Uno can be a trump card with Ray's magic."

The Unos were to be made by Wood and other one-handed swordsmiths in Mithrill. Because we cannot afford it in time, as per existing technology, there were only two attributes to grant, but it was also an anomaly that five beast slaves would have a magic sword.

Upon finishing his workout and gearing up, he headed to the Blacksmith Guild General Headquarters.

Even today Ray must obey the demands of the blacksmiths and shed magic or explanation on spears and armor.

Ashley and Stella had decided to go along with the creation of the orbs of the Unos because they could afford the time in comparison.

Ryan and Ione need to go to the blacksmith's workshop in charge in order to get geared up and act differently.

And, last but not least, Luna was told by Ulrich about making protective equipment.

"I'm talking about your protective gear. As far as yesterday's story goes, I guess I'll be a magic archer. Then you don't need some gear. By chance, Luc's hand was empty. Besides, this is no coincidence, but there was a protective gear that was about to be made. There's enough stuff to finish in about five days."

When I heard that story, Luna realized it wasn't a coincidence, she had arranged it the day before, but without putting it in her mouth.

"Thank you. I will surely return this favor one day," he said, bowing his head greatly.

"It's for you, it's for your family. If only you'd come home safe."

That's what breaks the rapport.

As a result, Luna also acted differently, each of which was to rendezvous in the evening.

"Rendezvous here in the evening means a banquet again today..."

Ulrich said, "Of course not! What's a young man talking about," he says, slapping his ass.

Ray and Ryan get laid, but Luna still says today, "I'm looking forward to it. When you have time, you make something," he said.

"I hear you're going to make a simmer of cow moss today. Will you look at the flavor one last time?"

"Yes, I'd be happy to."

After each began to act, Queen Katrina came to Ray.

I am able to follow a few young clerks today, wearing an orange dress.

Because the officials are kneeling at the figure, the Rays imitate it as well.

"I'd like to speak to Chief Drexler and Lord Arklight."

After I say that, I nod small at one of the civil servants.

The young clerk was a man in his late twenties with a narrow feel such as brilliant talent.

"In response to Lord Arklight's work in the battle against the Demons, the Kingdom of Kaum is considering a praise medal. Now, at the request of the Blacksmith Guild, I am referring to the escort of Lord Luna, Viscount Lockhart's maid, so it is up to me to speak to the master craftsman."

And when he enters the master craftsman's office, Ulrich greets Katrina with a serious face.

"You've come a lot. I would have had to go to the royal palace and put a lot of work into it."

"No, because it's what I like," Katrina smiles.

So the clerk started talking.

"As soon as possible, I will explain my compliments to Lord Arklight. As a kingdom, we intend to give Lord Arklight a cloak with the title of Count Emeritus and the royal seal…"

Civilian explanations were that Ray would be given an honorary countess, accompanied by a royal Brentwood family crest, a pure white cloak depicting a flaming dragon and an axe to cross.

The Count Emeritus, as his name suggests, is the title Emeritus and does not come with any duties or rights, but will be treated as a nobleman because it will be explicitly stated in the Orb as a title.

"Are you the Count Emeritus... too big..."

That's what Ray said and tried to resign.

"It's by no means an excessive reward. On the contrary, if you present anything other than countenance, you will be told that our kingdom does not rightfully appreciate what you have done".

"I think it's too much for a knight..."

"Then it will be harder to give you something with a royal crest. You can only give small items that are sophisticated and about daggers. Besides, you also benefit from this…"

Ray tilts his neck at the words, but listens without pinching his mouth.

"... so far, Lord Arklight, known as the White Master, does not belong to any country. Perhaps, but in the Kingdom of Lax, you are thinking of some kind of reward to take you in. Naturally, the same goes for the Caerm Empire…"

"Is it..." I accidentally pinched my mouth.

"Yeah, the prime minister over there is a doer. I promise my position, honor, and money to competent people at all costs."

Ulrich nods "uhm" as he remembers back in the day.

"Among other things, you were the first to visit my Kaum kingdom. Naturally, my country also prepared and solicited various fruitful awards. Nonetheless, you will not receive anything other than the title" Count Emeritus ”. And what the exchangers think is that Lord Arklight will return to the previously active Kingdom of Lax. I think it's an effective means to prevent unnecessary solicitation from the Empire, how about that?"

"I'm not even going to work for Lax..."

"Of course, I know. If you really want status, the Kingdom of Kaum will prepare a territorial countenance, not an honorary countess."

That's what Katrina says and laughs at, but she quickly reverts to a serious look.

"But when you're done running errands in the Empire, will you be back in Fonce soon? If you want to move freely until then, I think my suggestion is valid."

Ray doesn't answer right there, he puts his thoughts around.

(Sure it is, but even though the Honorary Throne, can I have it? But I also feel that way when people tell me to prevent trouble... as far as I'm concerned, I felt like I was going to do this to a reward because I did a good job...)

That's what I think, I realize there is.

(Our purpose is only to go to Jill Saul. I don't know what happens after that, but it's not a good idea to stand out too much. For it is not fit for purpose to be noted as Count Emeritus. Don't you have to stick to gear with a royal crest on it? I've had it made into a temporary employee of the Blacksmith Guild and I'm starting to feel like I could just get that certificate......)

He corrected his residence and told Katrina and Ulrich about it.

"We don't really want to stand out. The story should have begun that my armor resembles that of the Holy Knight in the first place, thus causing useless trouble. If we talk about the Count Emeritus, it will stand out the other way around. As far as I'm concerned, I'd like to refrain from all this talk and give you proof that it's a request for a blacksmith's guild."

In contrast, Katrina said nothing to it, but Ulrich is convinced that "you're not right".

So Ray gets up and says, "Thank you for your hard work this time," and bows his head a lot.

"You still don't insult the White Master. I tried to spit on this desk, but I was impressed."

After saying that and smiling,

"Let us issue an official document to Ray Arklight, a mercenary, from the Royal House of Kaum to the effect that he has nothing to do with light theism. With this, entering the Caerm Empire shouldn't be a major problem."

"You should say that from the beginning," Ulrich poisons.

"I order you to issue a request for a blacksmith's guild in the name of Non. That's good, Your Highness."

Before she answers, she adds: "If you say you can't do this, you won't be allowed to attend today's banquet".

"That's troublesome," he says with a laugh, bowing his head toward Ray.

"I'm sorry you did something to try. I wanted someone as good as you to be."

And ordered the clerks "to prepare a letter of thanks and official documents as soon as possible".

"Well, you can attend the banquet tonight, Mr. Ulrich."

"Oh, I don't mind, Katie."

Ray understood that the conversation had brought him back to the usual relationship, not with the queen and the master craftsman.
