June 10.

Ray was on his way to the back of the temple to meet the clergy of Creatore with Luna, Kittry and Uno.

Though the temple is stone built, the exterior was so primitive that it did not seem to be the main mountain of the temple dedicated to the creative god Claretore, with the impression that Ray was very much the same as a normal residence.

Although the same was true in the temple and there was an altar just off the entrance, it was narrow with the five m (melt) square. Through the door to the right of that room, towards the back, but the hallway was just narrow with several doors lined up.

Kitty stops in front of one door. And when I knocked, I heard a man say, "Come in".

I go inside, but the room was very small about 3m square and there was just a set of chairs and tables for reception.

The wooden window behind it was open and difficult to see with backlight, but a human man in his mid-thirties greeted him with a soft grin.

"I am a cleric in this temple, my name is Atro Kayan"

He was the voice of a tannic baritone that gave reassurance to those who listened.

The Rays introduce themselves, but when they saw Ray and Luna, the look on Atro's face changed slightly. That seemed surprising, but it was never noticed because I immediately put it back on its original expression.

"Professor Erbain has briefly asked you about this, but I'm glad to see you at the exchange of interviews with Chief Guinness."

When Luna asked him, "Yes. I'd like to see you and talk to you," he says clearly.

I tell the words, "I'm sorry, but I can't see you today," I say with regret.

"When will I see you? It's very important. It's like involving all people..."

That's all I said. Ray gently holds her arm and gives her eyes to keep her emotions down.

"I'm sorry. But it's really important. I'd like to see you as soon as possible..."

"Really... the chief cleric is currently in meditation. The next time you show yourself before us is in three days. It will be possible to meet you at that time, but could you please be a little more specific about what you are doing?"

Luna nods at it and explains why we visited this temple. In doing so, she did not cover up that she was the "Son of the Moon” or that the threat of the Nothingness (Vanitas) was imminent, apart from the story of being a reincarnator.

About enough to finish Luna's story.

Atro started talking slowly after being silent for about ten seconds.

"We understand the purpose of the visit. I will arrange for the Chief Cleric to meet you as a matter of priority."

For believing so lightly, Ray was curious why.

"I think it's an absurd story, but why is it so easy to believe?

Atro smiles at Ray,

"The spirits have taught me that you are not lying. I soon realized that you two are loved by all spirits..."

He was surprised when Ray and Luna came into the room that the two had all the attributes. It was a surprise that three people saw all the attributes of a human race in the short space of a few months.

"... and Professor Erbain was accompanied to it. I'm not going to deny what the professor believes."

That's what they said at the sight of me, and Ray had to convince me too.

"If it's three days from now, you can speak to the Chief Cleric, but it's possible for me to consult you by then."

Luna looks at Kittry and Ray. Kittry smiled, "Cleric Kayan is also a very knowledgeable man," and Ray gave his consent by nodding small.

"We will now consult with Kayan at a convenient time"

"Dear Sir, please don't. You can call me Atro," he laughed.

"Right. I have a routine job now, so if you come back around 3pm, I can talk to you."

Luna thanked it and bowed her head, leaving Atro's room behind.

When I went outside, Ashley and the others were sweating into training.

"Are we done yet?" When Ashley heard, Ray said, "Also, we're supposed to be here in the afternoon," and started walking towards the village.

Then, whisper to the walking uno, "What happened to the surveillance?"

"I felt clearly in Cleric Kayan's room. I still feel a slight glance. It's a very weak sign... there's no certainty, but I was wondering if it might be a magical surveillance..."

"Is it magic...... ok. Please remain vigilant."

Uno nodded small and turned behind Ray.

Ray approached Kittley and asked, "Can the clergy here use magic?," he asked. That is because it is common sense that the priests of the Eight Classes God can use the magic of their respective attributes, but the priests of the Three Lord God are very rarely able to use magic. I wondered if the clergy of Creatore, the Creator, could also be an example of this.

"I think I might be able to use it, but I don't know the details. Given its compatibility with the Spirit, the Chief Cleric and the Kayan Cleric seem to be able to use all the attributes or a number close to them, because they didn't tell me"

During his last visit, Kittry contemplated examining the attributes of the clerics of the Temple of Creatore. That's because I thought the relationship between magic and the gods was profound and knowing it would deepen my understanding of a god named Creator.

But starting with the chief clergyman, the clergymen never gave details. The reason for this is the policy of not relying on magic in the Temple of Claretore.

"The same goes for people in the village, but they don't use healing magic even in injuries and illnesses. The villagers got hurt, but it felt like all they had to do was give a hand and pray to God. When I saw him and tried to hang the healing magic, he refused. I'm surprised at that."

"Did you know the healing magic itself and say no? I'd like him to be treated by his family anyway."

"Yeah, that's right. But it didn't feel strong to say no. I felt like I didn't need it because I had God on me, and I was turned down in a calm atmosphere."

Ray was uncomfortable listening to Kitley.

(What were the magical signs Mr. Uno felt? Even though it's a teaching refusal to use magic... I guess there's a reason we don't know, but maybe you should also consider that Vanitas is interfering...)

Returning to the house he is renting and checking with Uno, he is told that "from the area where he entered the village, there is no longer any surveillance".

I don't know what's going on, Ryan says, "What happened?" asked Ray.

"I'll explain it to everyone, including what happened at the temple. Excuse me, Uno, but I need you to be on your perimeter."

When Uno says "you will," he bows his head and goes outside the house, Seyce and his men disappear into the surroundings at the same time.

Ray was satisfied with it and gathered everyone together to begin the conversation.

"He told me first that Mr. Uno was being watched when he entered the temple. When it feels like it's using magic, too. It just seems like Stella didn't even feel it, and she had no idea who was coming from."

"You should consider it quite skillful when Lord Uno cannot be identified," Ashley mutters.

"Right. But he doesn't have any hostility, so now I don't think you have to worry so much. I'm talking about in the temple..."

Ray will explain to Ashley and the others what he talked to Atro about.

"... it seems to be three days before I can see the Chief Cleric, but Mr. Atro is supposed to listen to me instead"

"What's that priest called Atro like?," Ryan asks.

In contrast, Kitley said, "It feels like he's a deputy cleric. Most of all, the Temple of Creatore has only the priesthood of chief clergy and clergy," he explains.

So Ray asked Kitley a question.

"Is someone named Mr. Atro really human? Somehow, but I didn't feel like a person..."

"You thought so too... I don't know either. If you look at the physical characteristics, it's the people themselves, but the feeling of magic and the atmosphere seem like Elf Elders. I asked the chief of the clergy if he'd let me out."

"Whatever that is, shouldn't we talk about the future," Stella said, and Ray nodded, "Right," and started talking.

"Sorry to derail you. It's in the future, but for now, I'll have Mr. Atro talk to him, make sure he feels it, and then I'll use him as a reference when I see the Chief Cleric in three days. I'm thinking like this, do you have any opinions"

"Professor, what about your opinion," Ashley asks.

"Right. Mr. Atro has enough knowledge, so you should listen to him as much as possible. But what Luna wants is not to see the Chief Cleric, but to go to the Temple."

"Yes, the only revelation I received was that I had to go to the temple of beginnings."

"If so, it might not make sense not to enter the underground temple. I told you earlier, because the earth is only a place for the priests to live, and the Temple of Claretore in the true sense is underground."

"What kind of place is it," Ray asks.

"It's hard to say in a nutshell… Holy place is the closest expression. I might even be able to say it's the closest place to the gods... and I'm having trouble expressing it in my paper."

That's what Kittry said and laughed, but Luna didn't break her serious look.

(Closest place to the gods... Maybe you'll meet the Dark God (Noctis)...)

As Luna conceived, Ray confirmed, "Well, that's a good policy just now," and the policy was decided.

■ ■ ■

The cleric Atro Kayan had erased the grin until then after the Rays had left and had contemplated it with a serious look.

(Those two are the key people...)

I was surprised for a moment when he saw Ray and Luna because the person he had been hearing beforehand showed up.

(But I wonder what the chief cleric (Lair) intends to do. Times could move... but in any case, I can't come out of the temple until three days later. Should I see one of them in the meantime...)

Atro was dissatisfied with his boss, the chief cleric, Lair Gyneth.

(That one has long been too conservative. Even though we survived that scourge because of it, now that the god of nothingness (Vanitas) is about to be resurrected, the same thing is repeated four thousand years ago in the same way as before. If we don't stop eating at all......)

Including Atro, the clerics of the Temple of Creatore were survivors of previous civilizations and observers (Obselve) whom Ray met in the wilderness of despair (Desperationis) called “divine men”.

Originally, the divine man lived in the place closest to the gods, that is, here in the Temple of Claretore, in order to hear the voices of the gods.

Even when Vanitas' plan four thousand years ago, the destruction of civilization through information alteration, is spared information alteration by the protection by the gods.

But the Atroes were never happy to survive.

They were immortal beings made by God and it was existential to protect the second civilization. I feel remorse for surviving without upholding the mission imposed on me.

And the gods only discerned the divine men who did not fulfill their own imposed mission. No, I just thought I was limited to Atro.

In fact, until four thousand years ago, the voice of God, which was heard frequently, became almost impossible to hear after the fall of civilization.

As things stand, the chief cleric, Lair, continues to pray to the gods in the underground temple, but even she cannot hear the gods freely and is only unilaterally conveyed by them.

(Lady Lair couldn't move herself when she heard about the young man who came six months ago. If we don't move, this civilization will also be destroyed by Vanitas... if we work with the two of us earlier to stop the collapse of the world...)

Atro relaxed his expression as he renewed his determination. And he left the room to ask the other clerics to cooperate.
