Trinitas Mundus - The Story of Saint Knight Ray
Episode 59: Requests from Dwarves
May 16.
Mercenaries from the Mercenary Corps of Markat (Red Arms) leave Fonce's Corps headquarters. Mercenaries and cooks who were supposed to stay, and even mercenaries who had ties to the Red Arms, were coming to drop them off.
"Okay, I'm coming," said Hamish. Fine, "Let's go!" and proceeded with the horse with the loud voice.
Those who are left say, "Cheer up!," he called out, "Be sure to come back," etc., and kept waving until he couldn't see them.
Leaving Fonce, the Mercenary Corps of Markat (Red Arms) heads south down the street.
Reconstruction While escorting a merchant convoy carrying supplies to the remarkable adventurer's city of Periclitle, he walked slowly, but still entered Ars, king capital of the Kingdom of Kaum, about a month later, on June 18th.
"You've never been this far before."
When Hamish Markat speaks that way to his ally and deputy, Alberic Auger,
"Right. You've only ever been to a barbecue."
In addition to their last demonic pursuit, Hamish had come near the main traffic shock barbecue of the Kaum kingdom at the time of the demonic invasion nineteen years ago, but at that time he has returned to Fonce without going to Ars because his wife Abby was killed in battle.
"I've been there a long time ago, but I think you're more vibrant than before"
That's what I said and it was Lazareth Dawell, captain of Squad Three, who came into the conversation. He is a former adventurer and passes here when he travels for the adventurer city of Periclitle.
"Sounds like a good economy. If the rumors are true, there will be a lot of weapons orders because of the war between the Empire and Lukes."
Hamish's wife Valeria joins the story.
"There's that, too, but the economy seems good with alcohol entanglement. Some years ago, they had a town south of this city to make distilled liquor."
When Hamish says so, Alberic says, "Distilled liquor?" and lean his neck.
"Oh, it's about Scotch. Don't you remember, I would have carried just one barrel from Periclitle some years ago. That's when the liquor was distilled."
"Oh Zach here at that time... fu fu fu..."
So Hamish rushes to block Alberic's mouth.
"I would have been told then! When you say that name, it's going to be a big deal!
So Alberic also nods with his mouth held down.
When Hamish let go of his hand,
"That said, if you don't say“ ZL, "the Dwarves will come together. I remember."
That's when the voice hung from behind them.
"Are you from the Red Arms?
There stood about ten spectacular dwarves there.
"Oh my God! I knew you'd come!," Alberic panicked, but the Dwarves did not willingly,
"Non is Ulrich Drexler. I'd like to speak to Lord Hamish Markat."
Hamish is surprised that the blacksmith guild's master craftsman himself showed up. Hamish, who managed to get back on his feet, asks about the matter.
"My name is Hamish Markat, and what can I do for you?"
"After all, your lord is Lord Markat. What are you talking about? Go to the General Headquarters of the Blacksmith Guild."
"I don't mind that," he replies, "but he has just entered the city and the members are waiting in the square in front of the main gate.
"It's not about the inn. Somebody! I need you to arrange for the Red Arms Inn!
In that voice, the young men, like the officials of the Alliance, said, "Immediately! Answer and confirm with the mercenaries the hope of the inn.
Ulrich nodded contentedly as Hamish and the others were taken away.
"Let's do this. I'm sorry, but can you keep following me?"
That's what I said and started walking with the other dwarves.
Hamish and the others try to pull the horse and follow him with a frightened look on their face.
"We'll take the horses and the luggage to the inn," the staff says, taking the reins. When the Hamish realized how handy they were, they answered "please" and handed over the reins.
I would not have given my baggage to a stranger if I had, but it was too natural and it wasn't until I entered General Headquarters that I realized about it.
Accompanying Hamish are Alberic, Valeria, Gareth Ayring, captain of the most, Zenga Ormiga, captain of the second, and Elias Nifer, captain of the fourth.
"I'm worried about the crew, so I'll take a look at it," said Captain Lazareth, number three, following the staff guide.
He was somehow aware of what would happen after this and gave priority to his own safety.
He arrives at the general headquarters of the heavy workmanship and is immediately led to the assembly room.
"I'm sorry. Let me just talk to a few people here."
I didn't know what was there because Ulrich and the others would bow their heads, but all I could do was say, "I don't mind."
When we entered the assembly room, there were nearly three hundred dwarves waiting there.
"I've been waiting for you!" The voice rose, "That's the one." Lord Hamish? Awesome arm, "mixes the exclamation.
The rally room blurring quickly disappeared into Ulrich's voice, "Quiet!"
At some point the Hamish were seated in the chair provided.
Ulrich bows his head and then gets down to business when he says, "I'm sorry I called you shortly to remove my gear at the inn."
"I asked you to come because I asked you to do me a favor in anticipation of you."
"Me, no, what is a favor to us?" Hamish hits the question.
"You don't have to force me to use reverence. Non and the others can't use it properly anyway," he laughed.
"I would like to ask Red Arms, the world's most powerful mercenary regiment, to escort a certain person. Let's say the commission is worth it. Why don't you take it?"
"Ulrich, then let's talk too much. Lord Hamish is in trouble," another Dwarf interrupts the story, but Hamish was puzzled, as he put it.
(The escort of a certain person... I'm guessing the subject is one, but what does it mean to hire all of us? No, I have to go help Ash, even if he asks me to. I can't take this story...)
That's what I thought and said about it.
"We have to go help my daughter and son-in-law. So no matter how much money you get piled up, you can't take that request."
"I don't mean Ray and Ashley. Then it's not a big deal."
Surprised that his daughter's name came out of the mouth of the Alliance's master craftsman, he exclaims, "Why Ash's name?"
"I met him here about three months ago. I know that they have gone to Jilsall and will fight mighty enemies from now on"
"You know everything... why don't you let me know"
"Of course not. The three of us are asking for more information: Non, Gaelnote, and Oigen. This is going to be a long story. Why don't we talk about it while we're tummy?"
At the same time that word ends, the door of the assembly room is opened and huge barrels are brought in one after the other. Further dishes on a large plate are also brought in, and the assembly room is wrapped in aromatic aromas. Hamish, who had just arrived in the city, felt hungry for the scent.
"First of all, a banquet!" Hamish wonders what to do with the Dwarves' voices.
"What are you doing? Sit there."
"How are you going to toast without a jock? Hold this first."
In no time, a litre is grabbed by a large wooden jock that is likely to come in. A cold beer is poured inside.
"Cheers to Ray and Ashley's people. Sieg Scotch!
"" Sieg Scotch!
Neither do the Hamish think of the Dwarves' voices, chanting "Sieg Scotch," tilting the jock.
The throat-beating sound of gokugoku sounds and turns into a satisfying exhalation called "Puher".
"Hey, why are we drinking with Dwarves," Hamish asks Alberic in a whisper.
"I don't even know that. But this beer is delicious. I knew Ars was a city of alcohol."
At the end of the day I was stating my thoughts that had nothing to do with it.
Valeria and Gareth are also inclined to the jock while they are still being taken lightly.
"I moistened my throat, too. So let's talk," Ulrich said and started talking.
"Do you know about Ashley's new people?
"Oh, for once"
"Among them is a daughter named Luna Lockhart..."
"He said it was Lockhart!" Hamish was surprised, "I didn't hear you," he said, staring at Alberic.
"It's my first ear, too. I thought it was strange because there was a handover in the commercial guild..." he said, clapping his shoulders.
"Ashley and the others have never heard of it since they came to this city. That's good. The Luna is like a granddaughter to Nong et al. I want you to protect her."
"We're heading south to fight with our daughter, too. So as long as we're together, I think we're going to protect it, but I'm not asking what we're going to fight or where we're going to fight. So we can't make a commitment."
"Certainly not," he nodded.
"Ray and Ashley have a daughter named Stella and an amazing beast slave. But Luna only has a healer named Ryan and Ione. Both Ryan and Ione are prepared to lay down their lives for Luna... and the important thing is that Luna is headed east of Aquila. At that time, if the Rays were here, there would be no problem, but I don't know if they would be with the Rays. Not all of you. Let me hire a few men with arms as escorts."
That's what Dwarves all bow their heads.
"I understand the circumstances, but it will be an indefinite contract. Besides, the people who are here are the ones who followed me. So you can't just break up with me and escort a daughter named Luna."
Dwarves drop their shoulders in disappointment at the words.
Hamish and the others couldn't help but feel at that appearance.
"I don't want the money, but let us do what we can. I don't know how far I can go."
"That's okay! Do something to protect that girl," Ulrich and the others stood up and bowed their heads heavily to Hamish.
(And the relationship between the Lockhart family and the Dwarves is more than rumours. I can also snort that Luke was kicked out of this country...)
Hamish admires the strength of the Dwarf and Lockhart family ties, but in the meantime, the Ulrich and the others were telling a different story.
"I don't want any money, but I'm sorry. Ulrich, can't you handle it?"
"That being said, it's Oigen. What am I supposed to do?
"If it's not gold, we only have weapons."
The story was not in Hamish 'ears.
And when Ulrich says, "How about this! I said," I got up.
"I don't want to receive any money, so why don't you accept the weaponry made by Nona?"
Hamish is confused by the sudden offer.
"What's this all about? I can't see the story..."
"It may be difficult for all of us to share, but let us make some armor of those with some arms. I want to do something for Luna."
Hamish is even more confused.
(Ulrich Drexler, Gaelnote Graver, Oigen Hauser. A million won't do. There is no way I can receive such things...)
I'll be honest with you about that, but the Dwarves won't pull it off either, "I can't heal their feelings." It doesn't fit.
"Your weapons are fascinating, but we want to make our way to Jilsor as soon as possible."
"So how about something that won't take long? If it's made of steel, it won't last ten days. Let's hope so."
After several such push-ups, he settled on making it made of normal steel, not magic metals such as adamantite or misrills.
"That's settled! Then it's time for the others to come! We're moving to the courtyard!
Other mercenaries had arrived by Alliance staff, and a grand banquet had been held in the courtyard.
Many mercenaries were drunk that night, but the alcohol-resistant Hamish kept drinking until morning.
