March 30th.

Day sixteen after trying "Desperationis." The Rays were about 100 km (Kimmel) east of the base village of Mauki.

On the 19th of March we had reached the place of seventy kimmels, but even after more than ten days, only thirty kimmels have advanced.

This is due to the fact that we proceeded with caution in order to minimize the damage on the move and the fact that we were hit by a severe storm for five days until yesterday and were unable to move.

Until yesterday, storms, dust, and even snow and hail (hives) blew, and my vision was equal to zero. Even the beasts and ghosts who were able to have a tough environment were finally so intense to be on guard inside the base.

Heavy storms fortunately, and there were no raids by demons. In addition, since the base was created as the final base camp, there was not only a fifty m (melt) square rock bed and food vault, but also a shelter and cooking area for rest and even a wall about five melts high between the north and south to prevent raids from all around it, and there was no human or physical damage.

The Rays went outside at dawn when the storm passed. Until then, as bad weather was a lie, there was a rare blue sky in the wilderness of despair.

The Rays, who saw the surroundings, marvel at the sight.

"The terrain is changing..."

When we arrived at this point six days ago, it was a wilderness rolling with gobbly boulders, but the boulders had disappeared as if they had been blown away by a storm.

Instead, a small hill about twenty melts high was formed about thirty melts west, where a suspicious cave opened its mouth.

The cave was about four melts tall and eight melts wide in a semi-circular shape, and although the ground was bitter, it was clear that it was an artifact made of magic or something. It lasts at least fifty melts or more, but no more is foreseeable because of the darkness.

Also, climbing the barrier and looking around, I notice a deep crack (crevasse) about ten melts wide to the north and south of the base. Peek in from the top, but I couldn't see the bottom when a good eyed elf or beast man saw it.

Everyone is speechless that even the Uno and Beast Troops were incapable of action during the storm, and that they were unable to notice so much anomaly, even though heavy rain had caused their vision to be extremely narrow.

"... what's going on?" Deputy Alberic Auger replies to Hamish Markat's whine in discipline.

"It's like you're telling me to come in."

"Sounds like it......" agrees with the most squad captain Gareth Ayling in a plundered voice.

Like him, the Evil God Crusaders felt clearly invited.

"What are we going to do, Ray," Ashley confirms.

Ray, who was in love, also returned to me to that word,

"Obviously it's a trap, but you can't just not explore it"

"Do you want to send out a reconnaissance team?," confirms Theophilus Lockhart,

"We will look inside," Uno kneels before Ray and bows his head.

"Right. We need reconnaissance, but before we do that, let's do some breakfast and some surrounding research. Have breakfast while taking turns being vigilant…"

The crusaders, who had stopped moving to a shocking sight, began their action.

When the Rays finished their breakfast, Uno came to report.

"The surrounding conditions, but the range of visibility has also changed dramatically. If the mountains hadn't been repositioned, we'd have thought we'd moved from land to land before we knew it."

"How was the perimeter of the cave?

"There was a deep rift about a hundred melts to the west of the hill, similar to the one in the north and south."

"Is it a rift? So you're only able to get to the cave and east side...... how was the trap or signs of someone, etc?

"I couldn't find anything that looked like a trap. With regard to the most magical, there is no denying the possibility that you did not notice. From the outside, I didn't feel any noise or signs from inside the cave."

"Do you mean you won't know until you get inside?"

Uno bows his head greatly when he says, "Yes, I command you to reconnaissance."

I'll talk to you about it.

Having said that, he tried to convene key members.

At that time, Varma Niska of the Moon Demon clan, who had risen above and was on perimeter alert, shouts out loud.

"A bunch of demons to the east! It's countless undead! You can see a lot of big guys, starting with Skeletal Dragons!

"All ready for battle!," Ray ordered immediately.

"The Ghostman Troops are avant-garde left wing! Markat Mercenaries (Red Arms) must be on the right wing from the center of the avant-garde! The Centaur clan eliminates enemies who have been out of the avant-garde as guerrilla troops! The Beast Troops ask you to follow the Ghosts and the Red Arms!

Each unit said to that order, "Oh!" The voice of understanding rises.

"What about us?," confirms Elise Nortier.

"I would like to ask the demonic tribe unit for magical support. Just keep your magic as warm as you can for healing magic. And check the enemy's movements from above."

Elis ordered the Winged Demon tribe Asla Volti to scout. Asura rises to the sky with five of his subordinate wing demons.

On their behalf, Varma came down to earth. When he comes in front of Luna, he pokes one knee and starts reporting.

"It leads three skeletal dragons about twenty melts long and ten Death Nights about five melts tall, followed by more than a hundred Durahans lined up behind it. In addition, more than a thousand skeletons equipped with swords and shields could be identified. As far as movement goes, it doesn't seem like it's just a skeleton. There are countless ghouls and moving corpses (living dead) behind them, and I wonder if there are more than 10,000..."

"Is it more than 10,000......" Ray complains.

So Theo said, "Was there a Necromancer?," he said.

"I haven't seen those things," he replies.

"Then you can do it," Theo laughed niggardly,

"Using this terrain, you won't get turned around. If you crush the big dragon and the Death Knight, the rest is simple work."

"That's a rock heart!," said Hamish aloud,

"Theo's right! The Lockhart family is destroying tens of thousands of undead with three hundred vigilantes, mainly peasants! We've gathered the elite. There's no way we can't do this!

To Hamish's encouragement, everyone said, "Yes!" Raise your weapon and respond.

"Mr. Ray, go to the cave," Theo tells Ray in a whisper.

Ray opened his eyes in amazement at the words, "Why?" and ask back.

"That enemy is a force to drain us. Otherwise, there should be a flying demon that can go around or a demon that can use magic. I mean, I think he's trying to hit a ton of undead and let them cave in even though he doesn't like it. Then you'll have better health and magic to jump in from the start, so you should be able to take your chances."

"But..." I almost said, blocking Hamish from saying, "Theo's right,"

"My guess, the enemy is trying to push us all into that cave. I don't know why, but I have a bad feeling."

So Luna interrupts the story.

"We are protected by the gods. From what I heard at the Temple of Claire Tor, I wonder if the unaccompanied would not be able to go with us until the end. Maybe he's after it."

Stella also endorsed Luna's words,

"Even if it's a trap, I think it's easier for us to just go in there and deal with it. Besides, it's not a good idea to drain your strength and magic in this place."

With that word, Ray decided to be ready.

"We're going to the cave. Perhaps there must be a Vanitas himself, so I'll settle for it."

That's it, face Hamish.

"I leave the command of this occasion to Mr. Hamish. Lord Elise and Mr. Theo will be assisted by Mr. Hamish! Buy you all the time you can while keeping your health warm!

Instructed by arrow succession early, he began to run towards the cave.

Remaining Hamish drops off the Rays,

"Lord Asla! Tell me what's going on! shouting,"

"Theo, what would you do?," he asks with an extra look.

"Please finish off two skeletal dragons with Mr. Hamish. We will endure this together."

"Will we put up with it in one piece? Huhuhuhuhu...... ok," he replied with a laugh and immediately gave the instructions.

"Lord Talvo! Stop Death Knight, please! Lord Gius! My leg's stopped. I beg you to finish the Death Knight! The Beast Squad will take care of the guy who's coming out! But don't push it! Lord Ehlis will give you instructions from the rear. And then, as Ray said, just magically ask for help where it looks bad"

That's all I give you, I turn my face to Alberic and the others in the Mercenary Corps (Red Arms) fierce behind me.

"We're gonna take down the big guy! Follow me!

That's all Hamish says, heading to the eastern end of the stronghold that makes it a defensive line. The Red Arms fiends said, "Ooh!!," he roared, following Hamish.

Theo grinned and laughed at the Seraphines,

"I got one big guy. We'll brag to our uncles when we get back to the village."

"Skeletal dragons aren't a big deal on their own. Death Knight needs to be defeated by two or three."

When Serra said that, Lyle Marron blurred, clapping his shoulders, "It's going to be just the dragon," and Eunice Jakes said, "It's okay. Because skeletal dragons don't shoot braces," he says with an extra grin.

Robina Vassel was smiling, as usual, seeing how it was.

Those who watched the five begin to think that if they are frightened but can afford this much, they will be fine.

Asura's tall voice echoes from above.

"It's three hundred more melts! Skeltal Dragon is ahead! Death Knight is lined up in the rear about fifty melts!

"Zenga! You stop the hell! I'll take care of it! Al uses an archer to tow! Gareth, Elias, tail the enemy Zenga stopped! Lazareth and Valeria need to keep me out of the way while I finish my enemies!

We have only assembled the elite among the Red Arms, and we will immediately deploy formation to that order.

Tarvo gives orders to the ghost tribe, watching how it goes.

"Stop the Death Knight coming through the side of the Skeltal Dragon! But don't push it! Lord Gius and the others are here! The number of enemies is high! Don't even think about it by mistake! Live and report to Master Luna! We ghosts fought to the full for the world! Then stand by until Non tells you to!

Ghost warriors nod quietly at the words. Until now, I often shouted up my weapon to boast of my existence, but only because I realized I didn't need to do that while I was spending time with Luna.

Gius will also give instructions to his companions.

"The enemy has no flying tools! Make sure you bury the Death Knight that the Ghosts have stopped! Don't go to the dragon by mistake! You're the pinnacle of foolishness for undermining the king's trust in a merit battle!

The Humans respond to the words with their spears up.

Ray arrived at the entrance to the cave. And look back just once, to make sure the Hamish and the others set up an interception posture.

"If you leave the back to Mr. Hamish and the others, you'll be fine."

When I say that to Ashley, who stands next to me, I give instructions again to everyone.

"I'll be careful. I don't know what's going to happen, so report any concerns you may have."

There was no light source in the cave, and the darkness was spreading. From that darkness, he felt something like a temper, and Ray felt something cold flowing through his spine.

Forced to ignore that feeling, he takes the lantern-shaped light magic props out of the item box and gives them to the Ashleys.

"Uno, Seis, Ocho, please lead the way. Ash and Stella are avant-garde with me. Ryan and Mr. Ione need Luna's escort behind us. Mr. Nueve and Mr. Diez need to be on the rear watch."

Everyone nods at the words.

"It's finally a showdown," declares Luna as exciting herself.

Ashley answers the words.

"Exactly. If we lose here, it will all be over. So we have to fight without remorse."

"We must never win......" Stella also replies, adding in a whisper that no one can hear "let me protect Master Ray even in lieu of his life".

I didn't hear that voice on Ray, but I knew Ashley and Stella and even Uno were going to give up their lives for themselves.

"We're all coming back alive! Don't even think about sacrificing yourself! It doesn't mean Vanitas can't get into that idea!

Eleven went into the cave with Ray's powerful words.
