June 7th evening.

Though the Rays secured the lodging when they arrived in Gilsall, the king's capital of the kingdom of Gilsall, they were to be accommodated in a dispersed manner because they could not find six vacancies in one lodging.

Luna's suggestion would divide them for each party, and Luna and the others entered a single inn.

That's where she met an unexpected person.

"Long time no see, Mr. Kitley"

At the end of her gaze was an elf woman. The woman, Kitley Erbain, looked like a moveable tunic and hemp trousers, about to go up the stairs while reading a book.

Kittry, called to rest, looked back, and after a slightly surprised look,

"Oh, it's not Luna! What's wrong, in here!

I'm coming down the stairs while I'm good.

Ryan and the others looked strange, so I'll introduce them to you.

"This is Mr. Kitley Erbain. He's a professor at the Tilia School of Magic in Doctus."

Kitty gently interprets the introduction.

"These two are my people now. Ryan and Ione."

Ryan and Ione bow their heads, respectively.

"There are others, but I just have to stay in a separate inn..."

"Really? If you have time, why don't we have a meal and talk?

"Yeah, definitely," Luna nods, "but soon apologizes to the Ryans" for making the decision on their own.

"I don't mind," Ryan replied with a smile, "I don't mind either," good for the stick.

Ryan was surprised in his heart.

(A professor at the Tilia School of Magic. No, it's the same place as that professor Raspade. If it's definitely the best school in the world...... why does Luna know someone like that? Is it about Lockhart......)

Without realizing Ryan's doubts, Luna said, "Yes,"

"May I call the other fellows, too? The other fellow also knows Dr. Raspade."

"Oh, yeah. Then I'd like to talk to you."

When Kittry said so, Luna left the inn saying to Kitty, "I'll talk to the Rays," to Ryans, "I'll see you later," he said.

Luna entered the inn where the Rays stayed just around the corner. And when we find the Rays,

"I had a coincidence with an old acquaintance. You know more about myths and ruins, so why don't you come talk to me?

Ray said to Luna, "We don't mind."

"You originally planned to have dinner with me at your inn. And that's an amazing coincidence. What kind of person are you?"

"Kitty Elbain is a professor at the Tilia School of Magic. I came to Rasmore village about five years ago to investigate the ruins..."

About five years ago, in the autumn of 3021, Tria, Kittry carried out an investigation of the ruins in the Aquila Mountains.

She was based in the village of Rasmore to get Zacharias Lockhart, who is highly capable not only as an adventurer but also as a mage, to support the investigation of the ruins. Luna and I had met at that time and briefly explained that.

After Luna walks away, Ray tells the Ashleys what she just thought.

"I felt the same way about Master Ashley. He said it was like he was ready for Mr. Luna."

Ray nods at both of their thoughts too.

"But I wonder what kind of person you are, Mr. Kitley. I'm a little bad at being someone like Dr. Raspade..."

Ray was remembering Professor Lionel Raspade, whom he met in the Periclittle offensive. He was not comfortable with Raspade, which would do anything for research.

"I wonder. Well, Luna's going to be having so much fun, he's not going to be so hard."

"Really? In Luna's case, even the Dwarf blacksmiths who are said to be uncomfortable seem to enjoy it."

"Right," he said to Ray's point, "well, you'll see if you see him," he laughed.

After removing their gear, the Rays head to Luna's waiting inn. The sun had already fallen, and the area was darker, but it was darker than I thought there were few magic props for the lights that would serve as street lights.

"It was brighter when it was an empire, but you really feel like a country town. The town of Morton is brighter."

Morton, the northern town of the Kingdom of Lax, which he first visited, is put out for comparison. Demographically, Jilsol was more, but because he felt Morton was more vibrant.

"It's Kitty Erbain. I teach theology and history at the Tilia School of Magic. Even so, I haven't had a face in college in a year or so."

That's how I laugh at Nicole.

Ray is relieved that he said his full name but didn't respond.

(Looks like we didn't get any rumors so far. I was wondering what I would do if they said "white military" but I can normally talk about this... or maybe I'm not interested in anything other than research like Dr. Raspade...)

Ashley and Stella then introduce themselves.

"Who is the daughter of the leader of that famous Mercenary Corps of Markat (Red Arms)... Luna is still working with amazing people"

Luna laughed ambiguously at the words.

Then we talk over dinner.

Ask Luna first why she was here in Kittry.

"Is Mr. Kitley still investigating the Temple of Claretore?

"Yeah, I came here at the end of last year. You'll be in this country for over six months..."

Kittry left Doctus last summer and arrived on the island of Gilsall last December after a sea route. Then he tells me he's headed to the Temple of Claretore.

"... I met the Chief Cleric right away, but I couldn't get him into the temple, and after sitting in the temple for over a month, I finally got permission. Now that I have a good relationship with the priests, I feel like I sometimes go to the temple while I finish my thesis here."

"Are you alone? I heard there are few demons, are you okay?

"At first, Zach asked you guys to escort me. Well, that guy's better as an assistant than an escort, so I got a lot of help. Speaking of which, haven't you seen him? If I'd met you, I'd know I was here."

"I'm talking about the Temple of Claire Tor, can you let us in even if we go alone?

"I think you can listen to the story itself. But as I said earlier, I have the permission of the Chief Cleric to enter the temple. I think it's tough."

"So what if you were with Mr. Kitley?

Kittry does not answer that question immediately, but stares into Ray's eyes.

"There's a good chance that if I go, I'll get permission. But it depends. Because I want to avoid taking weird stories and breaking my current trust."

"Right," but I can't even tell Kittry Luna's secret arbitrarily, and she talks.

So Luna joined the conversation again.

"Mr. Kitley is a trustworthy man. I think you can tell me my secret," I see the Rays.

I wonder how Kittry will answer Luna with a serious look sometime.

Kittry thought so, "I promise. I won't tell anyone until they tell me I can announce it to you," I declare forcefully.

"Okay," Luna said, then started talking about herself.

"I am called“ Son of the Moon ”by the Demons. I was taught to live in the world as a god of darkness (Noctis)..."

Kittry opens her eyes to the word, but listens without pinching her mouth.

Luna talked about being the Son of the Moon, about the Demons being manipulated by the Gods of Nothingness (Vanitas), about Vanitas being present in this world to destroy the world, and about the fact that being the Son of the Moon is the key to protecting the world.

"... I received a revelation from Noctis to go to the Temple of Claretor in Gilsall. No, I don't know if it's exactly Noctis. I just got the revelation that if I go to the temple that begins with the existence that gives me peace, I will know what to do..."

She didn't tell everything, she lay low to be a reincarnator herself. Because if we talk about it, we have to talk about Zacharias being the same reincarnator, and Ray being from the same Japan.

"... To be honest, I am not such a fine being. I'm sure Mr. Kitley would know because he knows about me back in the day... but I always wonder if he can protect this world from me. But I was wondering if I could accomplish it if my people here could help me...... plus I feel like Zach and the others have prepared a lot for me. He might have known what I was like... that's all."

Luna's story was over, but Kittry remained silent. She was bitterly bitter inside.

(Son of the Moon... Moon Demons... Noctis and Vanitas... There are so many things I want to ask you. But now is not the time to ask that...... somehow I think Zach figured out what you were up to. Lydia and the others knew about this too...)

Kittry was sometimes hooked on the words and deeds of Zacharias and his wife Lydiane. Especially when it came to the gods, I remembered that Zacharias was more cautious than usual.

When Luna opens her eyes wide, her eyes start to shed tears.

"Oh, thank you......"

Kittry went beside Luna and held her shoulder, "It's okay," she said.
