One of my titles, you are still you, just like water no matter how it changes its shape, but its essence has never changed.”

"Why do you want to accept me as an apprentice, the master should know that I am not some future Buddha."

Except for his own little baby body, which has a soul from another world, there is nothing special about him, and Yixiu is the most clear about this.

Lianru, Lianru of Hongan Temple is a good friend of Master Ikkyu. It is a sect founded by the monk Shinran of the Pure Land Sect in the Kamakura period.

It means that it is more authentic than other Pure Land sects, so naturally other Pure Land sects are fake and shoddy products.

Although the Pure Land School in China is also based on reciting Amitabha Buddha, there are still twelve gates of contemplation. Only by practicing the twelve contemplation methods and observing the clear rules and precepts can one successfully ascend to the Pure Land.

In particular, all religions have a special feature, that is, "good people go to heaven, and bad people go to hell." The purpose is also to make people live in this world and try to do good deeds.

The saying of Hongan Temple is that the pure land is very broad, good people can be accommodated, and bad people can also be accommodated naturally. No matter how bad you are, as long as you are willing to recite Amitabha Buddha, you can still go to heaven and reach bliss.

In the end, it is not believing in Buddhism, but believing in our Yixiang sect to become a Buddha and enter the Pure Land.

This set of sayings has had such a great influence that Pure Land Shinzong has another famous name "Yixiangzong", which means that it is devoted to Buddha.

Moreover, "regarding Buddha's name as righteousness and other behaviors" directly knocked down other sects with a stick.

You talk about all kinds of wonderful methods, such as my Amitabha Buddha, even if I can't argue with you, I can still send monks to set fire to the mountain to threaten your believers.

This is the strength of Yixiangzong, because Buddhist scriptures are rare items, so only Gongqing and Wujia are qualified to talk about Zen and Dharma with monks, because they are the only ones who can read.

It is no problem for ordinary people of the lower class to come to temples to pray to gods and worship Buddha, but there is no way to ask eminent monks to teach you the Dharma.

Of course, if someone plans to buy a Buddhist scripture and study it by himself, it is not impossible. The key is that you have to know the words on it, which are all written in Chinese characters.

Therefore, what the monks of the Yixiang sect said, the common people would naturally have to believe, and the beliefs of the lower class people were directly monopolized by them.

If you say that you can go to heaven by chanting Amitabha Buddha, you can go to heaven. If you say that you can overthrow the local daimyo, you can overthrow the local daimyo.

Yixiangzong is really very influential. If he is captured by the monks of Yixiangzong, maybe he will be picked up by those monks as the reincarnation of the future Buddha to rebel.

"Because of the evil thoughts of war and death, human beings will lead to the birth of monsters. That's why in the Heian era, many witches surrendered to monsters.
