Trouble With The President

The second floor of the restaurant is totally empty except Jim who is currently sitting on the chair in despair and sadness. There was so much smell of different types of alcohol, some empty bottles of wine are lying on the floor while some bottles containing wines in them are on the table. Jim opened a new bottle of wine and poured the wine in his glass. The aroma of that wine was so authentic, anyone can tell that it contains a heavy dose of alcohol by just smelling it. Jim cupped the glass and started revolving it slowly in clockwise and in few moments he drank the whole wine in just one sip. This wine was just like a normal orange juice for him but if any other man would have drank this wine then he would probably be knocked out and currently lying on the floor.

Suddenly his harsh words flashed in his mind which he told to Tina,

"Your girlfriend once sold herself to me for a month, as my mistress. Well, do you still like her?"

And Tina's sad face as well as her lonely words also came in his mind,

"President Chin, is that what you want? Are you satisfied? I have to go now."

There was also Tina's angry and disappointed face and her words flashed in his mind,

"You know, you're a real pain in the neck!"

After remembering all of this, Jim's mind was just going to explode at any moment. He was feeling so much emotione at the same time like, guilt, anger, jealousy, frustration, etc.

He revealed a really sad look on his face like he is going to cry at any time and said inwardly, 'No, I didn't mean to make you hate me.'

'I just, I just..'

Suddenly he heard the sound of someone's steps, Jim clearly heard it because room was already empty and he is also not that drunk to can't hear the sounds. That sound of footsteps suddenly stopped and when Jim turned around he found Yi Kuan right next to him.

"Tut, don't you have a dinner date with the big star? So, Why do you drink here alone?" Yi Kuan asked with a smile on his charming face, his smile was telling that he maybe already knew the whole situation but still acting like dumb.

"Eh, Yi! What are you doing here?" Jim said childishly in a drunk manner like he is a kid and fighting with his friend. Jim and Yi Kuan was childhood friends so they act like children whenever they got some alone time with each other. They act like children, they talk like children and they also fight like children.

"Didn't you call me when you were drunk?" Yi Kuan replied while covering his nose and making a weird face. Jim was smelling like a fish that's why Yi Kuan covered his nose, if it's not Yi Kuan than no one will currently gonna come near to Jim Chin because of the smell of so much alcohol coming from his mouth.

Suddenly Jim dropped his childish act and put a serious and sad look on his face, "Well, Yi tell me...."

"If you see a woman with another man, you get very angry, what's the reason?" He asked this question with sad look and a little blushing on his cheeks.

Yi Kuan's eyes turned big like he was shocked out of his mind because this look on Jim's face is clearly telling that he is in love and what's more shocking is that he is a Playboy who never took a girl's feelings seriously and is now blushing like a girl. Yi Kuan never expected that his childhood friend Jim Chin will fall in love with a normal girl.

Yi Kuan suddenly started laughing like crazy.

A drop of sweat rolled down from Jim's forehead and he asked while making a awkward face, "What are you laughing at?" He is getting angry little by little because he is now in a critical situation and his best friend is laughing on him.

Suddenly Yi Kuan moved closer to him and grabbed his shoulder with his right hand from the behind, "Simple! You're jealous!" He narrowed his brows and smiled. Yi Kuan is currently very happy for his friend Jim because Jim is finally fallen for a girl and is jealous on seeing that girl with another man. As he continued, " I did not expect our well-known President Chin was jealous!"

Jim was also surprised on Yi Kuan's words, "Jealous? You said I was jealous?" he never expected that he will get jealous over seeing a normal girl with another man. As he said inwardly, 'How is that possible... but how could I be so abnormal...'

Suddenly his past with Tina and their memories with each other started flashing in his mind like a slide show. 'At first, I just wanted to conquer her.... but I didn't expect that... the one who is conquered is me...." He was so shocked out of his mind because he just wanted to conquer her and break her attitude from the beginning but the one who is really conquered is Jim himself.

'I've already... fallen in love with her!' Jim finally realized that he is in love with Tina. Atlast his eyes opened and the one who helped him is none other than his best friend Yi Kuan.

Jim snapped out of his thoughts and looked towards Yi Kuan with tears of happiness in his eyes and thanked him, "Thanks dude! Thanks to you, I finally figured it out!"

Jim immediately wiped those tears and revealed a smile on his charming face, "I already know what to do!" Jim started moving to the exit and said with his hand waving, "Thank you for the wine! I'll go girst, bye!"

He is so happy now that he wanted to dance with Tina in his arms.

Yi Kuan got frozed like a flying arrow just Pierced his heart and the word came out from his mouth with a dumbed face, "What?" Yi Kuan got dumbfounded because Jim drank all the expensive wines and is now leaving without paying the bill.

But a moment later he revealed a firm smile and said to himself while cupping the glass of wine, "Even Jim has changed, Tut, the power of love!

Yi Kuan's request to the author:- "Well, when can the author arrange a romantic partner for me."
