Trouble With The President

Tina kept her cool throughout the whole conversation. After knowing the truth that Wendy has also became an orphan, she felt a sense of similarity. she can understand the feeling of being lonely as an orphan.

"Siao... I can't live.... without him.!"

Wendy kept begging in a hoarse tone while holding Tina's hand.

Although Tina feels pity towards her but this matter is different. She can't just give Paiming to her.

After a momentary silence, she frowned her eyebrows upward, took a deep sigh and replied, "Wendy, Love is complex...." she took a little pause and then continued, "If Paiming also has mutual feelings towards you then I can quit and wish both of you luck."

"But.." Tina didn't say further but Wendy already understood her unspoken words.

Once again, tears stream down from her eyes, "Miss Tung, please! I know he likes you but there's nothing I can do.!"

"I...I really... can't.." She suddenly covered her mouth with both of her hands and couldn't able to breathe, her voice become more hoarse. "Can't....live without...him!"

"What's wrong with you!" Wendy's sudden behaviour made Tina worried.

"Though... really..." Wendy was unable to hear Tina's question as she was having trouble in breathing and her whole body was shivering due to pain.

"Sorry.." after saying this last word she started to fall towards the ground like she used up all her remaining energy.

It was so sudden that Tina couldn't able to grasp the whole situation and she got startled when Wendy fell on the ground and passed out.

"Call an ambulance!" Someone shouted from the crowd after seeing this tragic incident.

In the City Hospital...

Tina was waiting outside of the emergency ward of the hospital.

'The hospital always brings bad memories...' she mumble to herself. Her

whole body was tensed up and she had a gloomy expression on her face.

Some memories from her past flashed in her mind.

It was a dark and painful memory that she never wanted to remember again in her whole life.

She still remember as clear as like this was happened just yesterday,

At tha time she was just a little girl of 5 years when her mother suddenly fainted and brought to the hospital.

She was so scared and was continuously crying when the two doctors drag the stretcher towards the operation room.

"Her illness is deteriorating, send her to the operation room!" The male doctor shouted in a hurry.

The female nurse beside him nodded, "Yes sir!"

"Mom.." Tina who was just listening all this mourned but no one listen to her voice.

She saw her mum getting away from her and immediately ran towards the stretcher and grabbed it, "Don't take my mom!"

"Hey.." The nurse tried to to convince her to let go of the stretcher but when seeing that child's eyes which was completely red due to crying she couldn't convince her to leave.

"Tina..." she suddenly heard her bedridden mothers voice and looked up.

Her mother stretched out her hand to comfort her dear daughter. Her hand had become purple and the veins on her hand were also visible.

Her situation was so terrible that no daughter in the world could see her own mother in this kind of situation.

Tina immidiately held her mother's hand tightly, "Mom don't go... Don't leave me!"

Her teary eyes and innocent face could even let the devil cry.

"Tina my baby..." Her mother put a smile on her face because she doesn't want to make her daughter scared, "Mama won't leave you!"

This was her mom's last words and after that she died..

Back to present...

'Mum said, she won't leave me but she still gone..' Tina buried her head in her palms and tried to calm herself.

She always avoid to come to the hospital but due to Wendy's sudden incident she had to come here again.

"Tina!"

When she was organising her thoughts Paiming's voice rang in her ear, she looked towards the direction.

"Are you alright?" Paiming's breath was out of order and he was sweaty all over because he came running after getting a call from Tina.

"Paiming..." She mumbled and got up while wiping a drop of tear from her eyes, "I'm okay, what kind of disease has Wendy got?"

" Asthama, she can't get irritated." Paiming replied with a worried expression.

"I see..." She lowered her head.

"Tina, I can explain!" Paiming tried to go near her.

"No, I understand..." But she stopped him in the midway because her mind was not in the state to talk anymore, "I'm a little tired. I want to go back first."

" Tina wait..." Paiming tried to stop her but before he could reach to her, Operation room's gate suddenly pushed open and the doctor came out.

"Who's Wendy's family?"

"me..." Paiming replied in a low tone.

"Come with me please!"

Paiming looked in the way where Tina was walking away for a moment but he took a deep sigh and left with the doctor instead.

'Sorry Tina...' He apologized in his mind.
