"I was just stopping at this planet for a few days to replenish supplies, but I didn't expect to meet you who was unconscious and kidnapped by Houyhnhnms...

How could you, a Xianzhou person, risk coming to the Rich Star Region?"

His voice was low and vicissitudes.

"Don't mention it. I fell in here because of an accident. But you don't have to worry about me. There shouldn't be many people in this star field who can beat me now."

Lin En waved his hand casually, then looked up at Rocky in ceramic armor, not hiding his curiosity.

"How did you become like this? It's only been a few months since you left the Black Tower Space Station. How could you have changed so much?"

"I'm playing catch-up, my friend."

"I'm chasing time..."

He repeated it again, explaining slowly:

"Time is an insurmountable gap. On my way to find Lily, I accidentally fell into the turbulence of time and space and drifted to a special world - war, killing, chaos, empire...

If it weren't for the light cone called "Light Chaser" that you gave me, I would not have been able to hold on for long and would have been swallowed up by the horrific world of war."

【Light Chaser】The light cone brings a true improvement in all attributes.

It's not just the physical fitness, but also the intelligence, learning ability, and destiny ability are all included in the improvement of these overall attributes. This is also an important guarantee for Rocky to reach this point today.

"I went through seventeen years of baptism of war in that world before I was finally able to return to the Rich Star Region to continue my journey... Perhaps I should thank that war world for baptizing me, otherwise I wouldn't be able to go far in this Rich Star Region with my original appearance."

"Friend, we meet again in a foreign land. I really want to drink and chat with you, but please forgive me for not being able to stay here for too long."

Rocky stood up from the ground and picked up his weapon again.

Lynn knew what he was on guard against—the ground was shaking slightly, not because of an earthquake, but because of a minor tremor caused by the attack of thousands of troops.

Several kilometers away, a strong emperor was riding a six-legged Pegasus, reining in hand, and galloping towards them. Behind him were tens of thousands of Hui-qian cavalry.

A charge by tens of thousands of Houyhnhnm cavalry is enough to easily flatten any city-state on the planet.

The Hui-Yan Emperor led thousands of troops, with his head held high and his chest lifted, his eyes sharp.

He is the most powerful emperor on this planet. No life should be able to defy his authority, not even the meteorites that fell from outer space - that should be his treasure!

It’s a pity that for an emperor from a backward civilization who has not yet set foot on the starry sea, how can he understand the vastness of the universe and its true power?

Click!

Suddenly, thunder roared in the calm sky, and strong winds brought dark clouds together, making the whole world dark in an instant.

The entire Hui-Hsiang army was also stunned by the sudden change in the celestial phenomena, and the speed of their charge was even slowed down a little.

The person holding the reins of the six-legged Pegasus tightly grasped the reins, causing the horse to stop instantly with a neigh and then look up at the sky in confusion.

This was the first time he had seen such drastic changes in the celestial phenomena.

And this will be the last time.

Just in the next second, a giant red dragon poked its head out from the clouds with a roar, followed by thunder and storm!

The giant dragon just hung in the clouds, letting the thunder roar on its behalf and the storm get angry on its behalf, as if a god was sending down a divine punishment and looking down on all living things!

Faced with the unstoppable and irresistible natural disaster, the Hui-Qian Cavalry, which had fought on the grassland for decades without a single defeat, did not even know how to launch a counterattack against the enemy. They could only be crushed by thunder and torn apart by storms amid wailing and screaming. In an instant, only one in ten of their mighty army was left.

This was not a battlefield, but just an ant touching the scaly claws of a dragon, causing the latter to snort in disdain.

"Okay, the annoying bug is solved."

Lin En clapped his hands and got up from the ground. He stood on tiptoe and patted Rocky's shoulder as he looked up at the Red Dragon and fell into silence.

"Looking at you, buddy, I guess you're going to set off again to look for your Lily."

"of course."

Rocky nodded without hesitation.

"I will chase time, chase light, chase her... I will never hesitate for a moment, and I will never look back."

"My friend, where are you going? Are you leaving the Rich Star Region?"

Facing Rocky's question, Lin En smiled and shook his head.

"Like you, I'm going to chase after the one who belongs to me."

"It seems you have many stories, too."

The unexpected answer made Rocky smile for the first time in a long time.

"Then we'll meet again someday, my friend. Don't forget that you'll be my best man!"

After waving goodbye, Rocky turned and left without hesitation, embarking on his journey of chasing time again.

However, Lin En did not choose to board Rocky's spaceship. For him now, it is not difficult to cross the space in the flesh. The Red Electric Dragon inherited the ability of the Greedy Red Dragon to fan the space ether, and its speed is even faster than that of ordinary starships.

As for how to find Jingliu, he actually already had the answer in his mind.

The only problem is how they will leave the Rich Star Region and return to Luofu after that. That may be another long journey.

"Forget it, the boat will work out when the time comes. Let's find Jingliu first."

But just before he was about to set off, an unexpected figure suddenly appeared before him.

Normally, the only person who suddenly appeared in front of him was Aha, but the one who appeared today was still a loli with white hair and red eyes, but her figure was much thinner, and the keyhole on her forehead also showed her real name.

"Abby? Why are you here? Does Fu Li want to make a deal with me again?"

Lynn frowned in confusion.

How come this memory keeper appears here now?

"Long time no see, Mr. Lynn."

After bowing gracefully, Abby smiled and shook his head.

"Lord Fuli is currently sitting in meditation in the Heaven of Good Vision and has not issued any orders. I came to you this time out of my own will."

She took a step forward and came very close to Lin En, with a gleam of expectation in her clear red eyes.

"Every billionaire is fond of different memories, whether they are sad, happy, angry or absurd, but what I am most fond of is 'perfection'.

I like perfect stories, I like satisfying stories, I like everything to have the ending it deserves.”

Abby stood on tiptoe, trying to raise his small body, staring at Lin En with burning eyes.

"You showed me a story about a white wolf and a girl who became each other's moon after a hundred years of companionship [memory]. What makes me very sad is that the story did not have a happy ending... So, I hope I can see a sequel and make this story complete in the sequel."

"You don't need to remind me of this."

Linn was shocked by Abby's enthusiasm and instinctively took a step back, but the latter leaned forward and approached again like a beautiful girl who said "I'm easy to ride".

"I know you are also looking for a happy ending, and this is also the perfect memory I have collected... Let's make a deal, a deal about memories.

I will help you leave the Fertility Star Region...as long as you can create a beautiful story that I will fall in love with."

"So you are here to give out missions, right?"

Lin En pointed his finger at Abby's forehead in annoyance and pushed her away. The latter took precautions this time and slightly turned her head away, so that Lin En's finger could not penetrate the keyhole on her forehead. It seems that even Abby would care about these things.

"Hey, isn't this what you learned from the one on you?"

Abby chuckled and said:

"Or do I have to hold up a small wooden board to issue you a task? Are you still so ritualistic?"

"No, Aha is enough to lift the plank. I can't handle one more."

Lin En reached out his hand again to push Abby away, but before he could touch the latter, Abby had already turned into a distorted ball of light and disappeared on the spot, leaving only a gradually dissipating farewell sound.

"Then let me wish you a smooth journey~"

After Abby disappeared, Lin En took a deep breath and accumulated strength. Then he transformed into a red dragon, flapped his huge wings, and soared into the sky, tearing through the clouds and rushing into space.

The huge red dragon soared across the universe and began his long journey.

One thousand seven hundred years is indeed an extremely long time for an individual, but for the celestial bodies in the star field it is just a blink of an eye. Except for a few stars that have been extinguished by external forces, the starry sky of the entire Rich Star Field is no different from before.

Having traveled through the starry sky for a whole hundred years, it is impossible for Lin En not to be able to tell the way ahead.

He knew exactly where Mirror Stream was—that was the silent promise they had made seventeen hundred years ago.

——"If you die, Master, I will go back and walk the same path we have walked before, all the way back to the pond where you taught me swordplay.

I will build a small wooden house by the pond and live there forever." -

As Lin En believed, he and Jingliu might be far apart now, but they would eventually meet again at their starting point in the past, the intersection of their memories.

"Jingliu, we didn't even get to say goodbye, so... I won't treat this as a farewell."

However, a distance of several hundred light years is not too far for Lin En now.

The red dragon roared and tore through space, traveling in the sea of imaginary numbers, crossing one world after another at a speed far exceeding the speed of light, and trudging towards their agreed place.

.....

"Jingliu, my dearest Jingliu, our fate is not over yet."

In the sea of imaginary numbers, time and space are all chaotic and disordered. The only thing that can anchor Lin En's direction is the promise and the persistence.

"One thousand seven hundred years ago, I was rushing to the Star Gate while planning our future... I will take this long journey again, just as you expected and as we agreed.

Our fate is not over yet, I will go back, find you, love you, marry you, and walk with you through every hundred years in the future..."

"........."

I don’t know what kind of ecological change has occurred, but the lush jungle of the past has long since turned into a vast snowfield.

Lin En exhaled a breath, pulled his legs out of the thick snow and continued walking towards the end of his memory.

Even for him, the long dive in the sea of imaginary numbers was extremely dangerous and tiring, but he still did not stop for a moment, but continued to trek on foot in the vast snow.

The sea has changed, the forests have disappeared, but the mountains remain.

He walked towards the familiar mountain, but saw that the cold pond below had already frozen like a mirror.

And beside the cold pond, there stands a small wooden house.

It was simple, but it flickered with warm orange light, bringing comfort to those who had returned from the snowstorm.

Lynn walked up quickly and knocked on the door gently.

But after a moment, the door opened, and the white-haired woman jumped out and hugged Lin En tightly.

"Welcome back... dear."

She buried her head in her beloved's chest and whispered.

[End of Volume 4]

Volume 4 Final Remarks

It took four months to finish the fourth volume. The number of words and chapters are the same as the third volume, which is an inexplicable coincidence.

How should I describe this volume? It's a bit too messy, and the maps have been changed several times. What I am more satisfied with is actually the simulation of the mirror flow (although the jump is quite serious). The simulation of the mirror flow can be said to have written the feeling I wanted to write, that is, the light cone introduction of the protagonist [Ice Wolf, Don't Look Back at the Moon]

[The Ice Wolf and the girl once swore by the moonlight that they would never be separated in this life.

After a hundred years of dependence on each other, the wolf and the girl have long become each other's bright moon.

But in the end, the Ice Wolf went blood-mad for the sake of the Star-Slaying Sect and never looked back at the moon; the girl also crossed the galaxy and never saw the bright moon again.

But to be honest, the mirror flow simulation was actually started too early. It should at least be placed after returning to the fairy boat, so that it would not be separated from the plot of Pierpoint.

Both the Fertile Star Field simulated by Mirror Flow and the setting of Pierpoint have a lot of my own secondary creations, which allows me to be more free when writing and write some scenes that are more in line with or can highlight the image of the characters, such as the steel sky without a real starry sky in Ester’s hometown (the planet setting of the imperial capital in Galactic Empire is actually used here).

After returning to the Immortal Boat, the three people who voted at the end of the third volume were Jingliu, Fu Xuan, and Bailu. In fact, Jingliu and Fu Xuan had already been decided to be written, and Bailu was more for fun (although I really want to reveal Bailu, but what the hell!)

Regarding the relationship between Jingliu and Fu Xuan, Jingliu has already been made very clear. In my opinion, Fu Xuan's personality is more suitable for subtle influence. After all, it is generally difficult to conquer an immortal species without a long period of companionship. Therefore, the immortal species characters I wrote are basically those who have known Lin Enen for a long time. People like Xueyi and Fu Xuan can actually be considered as reverse-cultivation people. They have known each other since childhood, especially Fu Xuan, who can be considered as a half-mother who watched him grow up.

For Fu Xuan, I set the change in her feelings towards Lin Enen at the end of the first volume, because Fu Xuan herself had faced a similar event as Lin Enen at the end of the first volume. Facing Lin En who did better than herself in a similar situation, she was able to clearly realize that the child she had been taking care of had grown up, and Lin Enen entered her eyes as a member of the opposite sex, as a young man drawing a bow and shooting longevity plague, and was no longer a little boy who needed her teaching.

Later, rewards and jokes gradually brought them closer, and the ambiguity and escalation continued until she saw fragments of the future.

Fu Xuan's plot line can actually be considered quite deep. After all, she saw the final ending when Lin Enen returned to the fairy boat, which was the scene of her sudden death and the red dragon pushing the star, so she could only guide the events in a more appropriate direction from behind. What I would like to describe more is the sentence "The fortune teller does not predict his own death, so I naturally do not know the date of my own death," "But I know the date of your death," and I think this shot is pretty cool.

I also found that people are not very interested in battles, or what I consider to be climaxes of major events, which can be seen from the follow-up data. But for me personally, compared with simple daily stories, I am definitely more interested in telling stories.
